Chloe paid Lucas a visit in his office. It was clear that her visit was unexpected but Lucas welcomed her in, anyway.

"What brings you here?" He asked immediately she took her seat.

"I was curious about how Jade really feels. And also, I know you two are close friends." She muttered, lovingly in her cute voice.

Lucas then took a seat facing her as they discussed further.

"Jade is an amazingly, skilled businessman." Chloe started. "And yet, he's ignoring me and the business offer that comes with me. It makes no sense."

With this, Lucas blushed a little as his lips settled in a serious look at her.

"In case you don't know, Jade get tons of offers like yours."

"But still, not that woman. I mean Saph or whatever name she's tagged with." She rolled her eyes at the thought. "I'm sure the Jade I know wouldn't have even glanced at her if not for that will."

"That's why Sapphire Blac is so amazing. She has a beautiful personality, only if you understand her. I'd advise you give up, Chloe." Lucas told her.

"I beat her out when it comes to family, money, education and connections. And yet, you're saying I should give up? You know I always get whatever I want... That's why I'm able to manage my father's chemical company and business!" Chloe replied, already feeling baffled.

"I guess there's something special about her that neither of us, know about." Lucas explained before taking a sip of hot coffee and sitting in front of him.

"I don't understand who she is, really. Does she have a complicated past, or any man she's dating? What do you know about her, so far?"

Lucas laughed at Chloe's curiosity as he dropped the cup of coffee, then he adjusted his tie.

"I don't know about her past, but... How could she possibly be dating another man while she's dating Jade? You know the kind of guy Jade Alejandro is. He'd never let that happen." Lucas explained as his phone started rang.

"Yes, this is Lucas Franklin." He replied the call and walked out of his office.

With this, Zoey pondered on the information gathered so far as her usual mysterious smirk spread on her lips.

"Then... All I have to do is, find another man in her life." Chloe said to herself and smiled.

That evening, Sapphire's phone rang and she quickly picked up.

"Yes. I'm so sorry but I can't come today, Jade." She told him.

"I'll come to you, then." He replied without hesitation. "I might finish work a little late, today."

"Really?" Her smile line appeared, exposing the upper part of her teeth.

"What do you mean, really?" Jade frowned at her words. "You should be begging me to come."

She blushed at him calmly as she replied. "Okay then, I'll do that next time."

"Where are you?" he asked.

"At school marking some exam scripts." She replied him. "Just a weekend stuff I need to complete." She added.

"Alright then, I'll be there in a while."

Sapphire smiled and continued marking her students examination scripts. She did it at school because she felt she'd be easily distracted by other things at home.

Jade was on his was as Sapphire decided to pack her stuff. She turned off the lamp and switches, and packed her books into her hand bag. Sapphire left her class, in which she was and held her so so that if Jade calls, she'd be able to reply him with ease.

Minutes later, Jade's car zoomed aggressively into the school. His eyes looked around as he noticed the whole building was dark.

Meanwhile, Ace on the other hand was about to retire for the day when a call entered. He picked it up almost immediately.

"Hello, it's Ace speaking."

"Thank goodness you're still at work, Ace. Even though it's past 9:00 p.m."

"Who are you and... What do you want?"

"I'm Chloe Charles of Charles Chemicals." She introduced and explained her new plan for him. At the back of her car were two gangs, with unconscious Sapphire at the passenger's seat.

Another mysterious smirk formed on her rise lips, same, on Ace's too. Their call ended before she zoomed off. The gangs gazed at themselves too and followed another route.

Later, Jade started dialing Sapphire's contact but it wasn't reachable. A worrisome look spread on his face as he scrolled through his phone.

"Yes, Zoey, it's me, Jade. Um, are you with Sapphire by chance?" He asked, as curiosity laced his almost trembling voice.
"We were supposed to meet up today but I thought she has gotten lost. Her contact isn't reachable."

"Oh, I see. Alright then. I'll get back to you." He cut the call as his eyes scrolled through the dark building that looked like a deserted island.

Just then, Jade decided to check in. He walked into the school building. Even though it was dark, he tried to trace the doors that lead to her classroom.

Somewhere along the road, Chloe decided to meet Ace to discuss further.

"Hello dear."

"Hi." Ace replied her while he walked to where her car was parked in the dark streets.

A bright smile beamer on her face when she saw him.

"It's nice you came, Ace. You're smarter than your cousin." She stared at him lustfully as her eyes rolled through his tall figure. "You know about the content of Mr. Stephen Alejandro's will, right? He's also your grandpa, right?"

Ace glanced at his watch impatiently and let out a soft sigh.

"Go straight to the point, miss." He answered her, rudely.

"Well, you guys sound the same but... Do you have any interest in B.B Company?"

"What?"

"Awwn, don't look so startled. I know more than you think and I want to make a deal with you. Since you're smarter and very much single. But I need to know your opinion on this before we proceed. With the awesome plans I have for you, you may be able to get B.B Company for yourself. That is, if you're willing to execute this plan with me. Of course by now, I know you already know what you want."

Ace looked at her interestedly, as he moved closer. "It's be a lie to say that I'm completely disinterested. I'm not a fool, Chloe."

She faced the opposite of the road where her guys packed an old looking vehicle. She heaved heavily as she continued.

"You see, for your sake, I caused the tiniest bit of trouble today. " She wore a fulfilling smile. "You'll have B.B Company just like you want. All you have to do is, take care of her for me."

"Who?" Ace asked, curiously as his eyes narrowed to the vehicle by the other side of the road but he couldn't get a clear view.

"Sapphire Blac, of course. I know you'll be familiar with her by now. She's a bit of obstruction you know?"

"And what do you want in exchange?" He asked.

"All I want is Jade Alejandro." She stared at him with a mysterious smirk as he replied her with his.

Lost in the Darkness and dialing Sapphire's contact over and over again, Jade's eyes caught her phone is at the doorstep, just by the corner of her class.

He picked it up immediately as curiosity ran through his mind. 'She should be around. She might be around.' A voice muttered in his head as he decided to check around the school.

Jade walked to the back of the class and also checked the whole environment but there was nobody. Most of the classrooms were locked so, there was no way she could be in there.

Struck in confusion, he dialed Mr. Tim's contact again. Luckily, it went through.

"Hello sir." Mr. Tim greeted in a sleepy voice over the phone.

"Hi! I'm sorry to call you at this hour but I need to to do something for me right away."

"Okay sir."

"I'm at Spark High School right now. Can you check some security footage for me?"

"Do you mean the main branch, sir?"

"Yes. I need someone I need to find and fast.

"Yes, right away sir."

Mr. Tim ended the call and went to the CCTVs room. He instructed the technicians right away as they started working on the case.

Just then, Mr. Tim's phone started ringing again. It was the chairman.

"What the heck, just happened?!" He fired at his ears

"Umm... nothing sir. They're checking all the footage on the CCTVS monitoring the roads nearby. It's a school zone so, I'm sure we'll definitely find something."

"Why, that little--" the chairman stopped between his words as his hands shivered to the phone he was holding.

"Um, calm down sir. Everything would be alright, I promise." Mr. Tim begged, in a calm tone. "I'll be sure to report back with positive updates."

Mr. Stephen dropped the phone immediately as a sharp pain strike through his head. As if someone pushed him from the back, Mr. Stephen threw his head back in pain,
trying to make up the pain, he gritted his teeth together, trying to endure it all. He held the side of is head, full grip as his breathings increased.

The chairman couldn't understand what was happening. His legs suddenly felt like they'd disappeared and he was left, swimming in the air. Trying to move was painfully difficult. Mr. Stephen stretched his lips and drawn it backs, clicking his jaw together, still in so much pain that crack through his back like thunderclaps.

His eyebrow pulled up together but his trembling hands managed to reach for his drug in his drawer. He quickly swallowed it and gulped down a bottle of water. Yet, it slipped through his fingers.
