Chapter 62: Emotional About Dating🥺😩🥺

At Zoey's Boutique

“What kind of colours do you wear more frequently?” she asked a customer.

“Well, bright colours.”

“Wow! Bright colours? Fine then. You're going to look good on this since you have a cute face." Zoey explained to her customer who was a sexy looking blonde.

She don't seem to be satisfied with what Zoey is offering but her fingers lingered through the rows like pages of a child's poem book. Taking a turn, Zoey noticed that Sapphire walked into her shop. She didn't want Zoey to get distracted or lose her customer, so, she silently signaled to Zoey while they made an eye contact.

Immediately they saw each other, Zoey replied her with a wide toothy smile as she narrowed her sight.

‘I'll be at the other side.’ Sapphire whispered.

Zoey nodded positively and blinked at eye at her before she walked to the other side of the boutique. Sapphire's eyes laced through the racks of designer shoes arranged on a shelf. It's been a while since she last bought a shoe and decided buy something new.

She took one of the shoes that caught her attention. It was black and shiny, like this stars at night.
‘This would fit.’ Sapphire smiled at herself in satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Chloe was around. She walked to were Sapphire was and twirled a strand of her hair with her index finger.

“So we meet again.” Chloe muttered, breaking the silence in the room.

Hearing her voice, Sapphire turned to her, startled.
Chloe raked at dark eyes at her, as if Sapphire was wearing a rag.

"Hello, Miss Chloe Charles." Sapphire greeted.

"Stop it with the greetings. It seems you're still seeing my Jade." She smirked and rolled her eyes to some of the hanged clothes on the wall. Looks like you've lasted a bit longer than other flings. "Jade has dated tons of women before. Those better than you in everything so, I'm not surprised, though. Because none of them lasted too long... The shortest he's seen someone is a month, but he hasn't seen anyone longer than six months. He's charming and goes out with people. They break up sooner or later and he comes back to me, Sapphire. We've been friends since childhood so, I know all his secrets, thoughts and best positions on bed. Something you know nothing about. I don't like talking to dummies like you but I hope you get me, though. Because the person he's going to marry has already been predetermined, darling. And that's me."

"It's not as if you're going to marry me." Sapphire huffed, not knowing how to reply her, exactly.

"Isn't that obvious?"

"Wait, you weren't thinking that you'd possibly marry him, were you?" She smiled and moved closer to Sapphire a little. "I'm warming you now for your own sake. Don't fall too hard for Jade."

Sapphire smirked and rolled her eyes at her. “Well, I don't know why you're stalking me and telling me all of these. Who can predict what'll happen between two people who are dating? It's up to us to get married or not. I still don't understand why you go out of your way to tell me all of this but... We would take care of our own relationship, thanks.”

“Can I try these on?” Sapphire asked Zoey's new market girl.

“Yes, of course.” She replied her.

Sapphire gently took a seat and pulled her shoes. "I'll help you." The salesgirl muttered and helped Sapphire put on the black, shiny pair of shoe.
She stretched her leg in it and looked at it from the side.

“Hmmm... These are a bit uncomfortable. Let me try the other.”

The salesgirl brought another golden looking shoe for Sapphire to try.

With this, Chloe wore a smug look at her and hissed.
“I'm sure that Jade is just like a shoe that doesn't fit right to you.” Chloe added. Still pissed.

"So that's what you think?" Sapphire looked up at her before replying. "Jade is a lot more comfortable with me than you think. Infact, I feel we're like the cutest pairs of shoes and I don't mind if people admire us or not. As long as we're good, I've got no problem. Not that you'd ever know about that." Sapphire replied her and admired the golden shoe on her feet.

"Wow! This is nice." Zoey's salesgirl commented.

"Thanks dear." Sapphire replied her and turned to Chloe. “You never which shoes fits the most until you try them on, after all.”

With this, Chloe stifle a laugh and shake her head. She scoffed and watched Sapphire for a while. She just  could believe Sapphire had the guts to her this manner.

Later That Day...

Sapphire was walking along the street with the shoes in a shopping bag. She tried but couldn't stop to think about the words Chloe said to her, earlier. How ride she was and all. All Sapphire just wanted to do was to lay on her new, soft bed and cry.

"Ugh! Should I just kill that stupid CEO Jade of a guy or spare him?!" Sapphire let out in anger. Little tears gathered up in her blue eyes as she tried hard to calm herself down.
She was on her way home and didn't wait for Zoey, all because she was pissed.

“Just what the hell does he go around doing, anyway?! How I so hate that wretched Chloe of a girl. I feel like reaping her head out of her neck like a doll and burning it in hell so the witch would forever be tormented. Ugh!” Sapphire grabbed her hair out of frustration and continued walking to the bus top, looking really irritated.

Getting there, Sapphire sat on a bench looking really tired and depressed. She hated the fact that she had to fight or get involved in an unnecessary argument with someone else just for Jade's sake. It's not even worth it. She knows they might not get married at the end of the day so why all of these.

Lost in thoughts, a long public bus packed and too all the passenger, except for Sapphire who didn't enter. She felt terribly weak and wished there was someone who could understand her better. Or someone that she could talk to at least.

All she'd always dreamt and wanted was a real relationship with true feelings. Not one with rules and conditions and as if that wasn't enough. The relationship has a timeline.

Just then, the vibration of her phone brought her into reality.

She looked at the screen of her phone and hissed.

'I won't talk to you, Jade. I'm so sorry but I can't do this anymore.' Sapphire muttered to herself as tears lingered down her eyes. She wiped it with the back of her hand, immediately. Not wanting others to see her.

Meanwhile, Jade was sickening worried. He dialed her contact over and over again.

"What if she's lost somewhere again? Why isn't she picking up?"
