The sky was bright blue mixed with snow white. Like that of a painting on a the wall of a museum. The bright green trees added a unique beauty to the environment. The kind of beauty provided by nature and nature alone.
Somewhere in the tall buildings that stood out tall like Rocky mountains, Sapphire came out of her apartment. She was dressed in an oversized, black jumpsuit and long, white sleeve that covered her slim hands.

"Why should I? Don't tell me you want me to come to the hotel, today." Even though she whimpered, her tiny voice sounded like a Melody over the phone.

"Yes. That's what I'm implying!" Jade replied her straight forwardly.

"We can see each other tomorrow if you're busy."

"No, we can't do it tomorrow! I'm busy!" He blasted over the phone. Sapphire jerked away, from his drum-bursting voice.

"What a nasty temper he has..." She hissed before putting the phone to her ears.

"Don't you know what ‘fair’ means? I even sat in your class the last time."

"Fine then, I'll go there with your name on a huge signboard." She uttered.

"Look forward to that." He replied jokingly and blushed at her words.

"Oh Jeez! I'm definitely gonna love that." Just then, Miss Barbara brought a file to his office.

"See you later. Bye." He ends the call after which Sapphire buckle her shoes and grabbed her pink handbag.

Later that day, Mrs. Kate Alejandro came to check on Jade.

"Ummm... I heard bits and pieces from your grandfather." She retorted. "So one of the conditions in his will is that you have to date that girl?"

"Yes." He replied, awkwardly.

"OMG! That's amazing." She laughed softly. "I'm sure that I don't need to worry. But don't fall for her too hard." Jade listened attentively as she explained.
"People like us can't marry just anyone. Especially you. You know that, right?"

"Yes mum, I do."

"All right, then." She smiled as Jade helped her into her car.

With this, an unknown person takes photographs of Jade and Kate, but no one knows.

Kate got into her car as her driver took her away. Jade watched her car zoom away before letting out a deep breath. He don't know what would happen in 4 weeks time but the chances of him being with Sapphire are very slim.
"Whatever." He muttered as he turned the back of his wrist to check the time.

After this, he walked into the hotel as if he was late for something. Meanwhile, Sapphire was patiently waiting for him in at a corner by the side of the entrance. Jade walked to her with a smile on his face as she moved to him in the same manner.

"Where's your sign?" He asked, first. Reminding her of the signboard she promised to being.

Sapphire rolled her eyes at him and hissed, which Jade's smile widened a bit.

"Can you come up with me for a while? I think 20 minutes would be sufficient."

"I'll wait for you at the coffee shop." Sha mouthed hurriedly but Jade held her back.

"Come on, it's okay for you to come up with me."

"No, thank you! This is your work place. She muttered fearfully. I'm sure there are tons of people watching you as it is. If a girl is hanging around, people will crap about you. Especially the media and I don't want that."

"I don't care!" He placed his right hand into his side pocket. As long as they don't say anything to my face. I'm the boss here and everyone respects my presence. As long as I don't hear it myself, I don't care."

"Um, I'll keep that in mind. Sapphire replied him with a small laugh. And still, I won't talk crab about you and I'll wait for you." Sapphire assured.

"Don't go anywhere then. Wait here, I'll be right back. Don't go wandering too much, okay?" He warned.

With this. She nodded her head in agreement as he took a turn to the elevator.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Sandra Damien was standing by another corner of the hotel watching both if them. Immediately Jade walked into the elevator, she went to meet Sapphire who was studying how well coordinated BB Hotel is.

"So you're dating Jade Alejandro, huh?" He voice sounded harsh and rather, unexpected.

Sapphire turned to her in awe as he lips muttered an "Excuse me, ma."

Mrs. Sandra wore a mysterious smirk on her face as she glanced at Sapphire from head to toe with from a high point of view.
“I'm Jade's aunt. I say you at the cinema the other day.”
She spoke boldly than Sapphire would have imagined. She was so shocked that the sweat from her back formed a line and lingered down to the middle of her butt. Despite the fact that she was wearing lose clothes.

"Umm, I'm Sapphire Blac ma'am. Nice you meet you." She lowered her head slightly, in a bow but Sandra wore a wicked look at her. All on her mind was to figure out who she is and kicked her out of Jade's life as far and as soon as possible.

Later, they got a table to seat the waiter served them warm coffee and chips.

Meanwhile, Jade quickly completed the meeting with his co-workers and rushed to the elevator but for some reasons. It was talking time and Jade wasn't feeling comfortable, leaving Sapphire all alone.
‘Who knows what might happen? She mistakenly meet Ace.’ A voice muttered in Jade's head as he quickly took another route. The long staircase.

My father... I mean, Jade's grandfather. He introduced you two, right?

"Yes, ma'am." Sapphire replied respectively while Sandra nodded her head.
"I see... Figures."

Sapphire looked at her wondering what she meant by figures.

"My dad didn't mention Ace to you?"

"Ace? B..but who's Ace?" Sapphire confusedly stammered as she remembered Jade calling his name several times.

"What brings you here?" A masculine voice caught their attention as the two women turned to Jade. He looked so curious as he wore an eagle look at his aunt.

He mouth felt a little dump immediately she sighted him, especially with that look on his face.

"Oh, I had some business to take care of here, do I stopped by. What? Can't I even chat with a guest?"

"Then go and meet your guests, instead of doing this. Or have you suddenly gone blind?" He replied, narrowing his eyes at her blabber mouth.

"Stop that!" Sapphire warned, pulling the sleeve of Jade's jacket.

Sandra rolled her eyes at him with an evil stare.  She wanted to say more but her ride niece's reply was enough embarrassment for the day.

With this, she put on a fake smile over her face. "Let's chat again later." She said to Sapphire. "I have more questions for you."

"Um, yes. S. Sure. Definitely, ma'am." Sapphire nodded respectively.

Mrs. Sandra took a stealthy look at Jade once more before grabbing her hand bag and dashing out of the hotel in annoyance. Unexpectedly meeting Jade sure left a bitter taste in her leaf-shaped mouth.

"What was that all about? Why acting rude towards your family and being so nice to me? You should be nice to you elders, you know?" Sapphire cried at him, so worried.

Jade replied staring at nothingness. If he was sure about anything, it was his aunt's hunting gossips that she tread all about like a spiders web.

"It's give and take. She reaps what she sows, Fire."

Sapphire hissed at him with what he just said while Jade's facial expressions changed, suddenly. "What was she talking to you about?"

He know he heard Sapphire say Ace's name. Sandra misses no chance is pouring sand into other people's wound.

"What do you mean? I couldn't even greet her properly because you butted in so rudely."

"Let's go and eat. I'm so hungry and... I don't have much time."

He gently held her hand and pulled her beside himself as they walked out of his hotel.

With this, Sapphire interlinked her fingers with his and it felt so perfect. A wide smile appeared on Jade's lips, and on Sapphire's too.
