Amber was sitting in a corner. Tears weren't coming from her eyes,she was feeling guilty for her actions. The guilt in her isn't letting her cry out also. Many of her relatives came and visited her and tried to console her,but who can remove the guilt within her heart. 

Few days back 

"Let's binge watch the series guys! I heard that the series were superb and deadly interesting. I am definitely going to watch them this weekend. I would invite you all to my home"

"Oh! you all are meeting there! then yes i will definitely come over! just ping me the time and I will be there. See ya"

She went to the dining table and sat there,but she was still scrolling feed on Instagram while eating also. Her parents wanted to talk to her but she wasn't paying any attention to them and was busy in her own world. 

Her father : Amber dear, this weekend can you accompany your mom to hospital? I do it all the time but this weekend i have some important business meetings to handle. Without that maybe we will have to loose our whole business.

Amber : Dad!! Not again. You always do this. Its okay i will take mom to hospital. 

Her father : Don't miss it dear! If you have any plans cancel them.

Amber : Okay dad!! I  will!

Soon after her dinner she went to her room and laid on the bed. She was tossing on the bed unable to get sleep. She was thinking about her mom's hospital visit. She wanted to skip it, but then she had no choice. Slowly she felt asleep. 

The weekend came and anna was getting ready, she planned that she would drop her mom at hospital and then go to her friend's home and when her mom gives a call she will book a cab for her and she will reach home.

Amber got ready quickly in her jump suit with minimal make up and sneakers. 

Amber : Mumma! Shall we go?

Amber's mom nodded and they both got into the taxi. Amber's mom wanted to talk something with her daughter but amber didn't giver her a chance. She plugged in her ear phones and started listening to songs. 

Soon,they arrived to the hospital.

Amber : Mumma! you go and visit the doctor,when you are done just give me a call,will book a taxi for you. You can go back. Okay mom?

Amber's mom nodded and went in. Amber proceeded to her friend's home. She reached her friend's home and started seeing the series. She was so damn excited. Her phone beeped only once, she booked a taxi and sent text to her mom about the details and continued her watching of series.

It was late night when she reached home. She went in with the spare key, as nobody opened the door how much ever she knocked. She went in and checked her mom's room. It was opened and she found her mom lying down. She assumed as everything was okay and went to her room and dozed off. 

The next morning she woke up at around 11:30 am and was surprised to see that there was no breakfast on the table. This was really unusual. She went and checked her mom if she was unwell. She tried to wake her up. 

'Mumma, are you okay? mumma!"

She tapped her mom but she wasn't waking up at all. Amber was in shock and she quickly dialed to the doctor. The doctor arrived within 15 mins. He checked her mother's pulse and looked at amber.

Amber : Doctor, Is my mom okay?

Doctor : Isn't there anyone at home dear?

Amber :  No doctor. What happened to mumma?

Doctor : I am sorry to say this but she is no more dear,yesterday when she came for checkup,she said she was having slight chest pain i prescribed her certain tests. But, I am thinking this might be a sudden cardiac arrest and no one brought her to the hospital. 

Amber stood rooted in the place she was standing. 

Calls were done and the last time she saw her mom was in a white cloth on her body with closed eyes.  She couldn't digest the fact that her mom wasn't there anymore in her world. The last rites were done. All the time not even a tear drop came from her eyes. Many relatives scolded her for not crying,but she ran away from all of them and hid in her room. She locked herself in her room and never came out for a week. 

Later,when she was trying to be normal and trying to move on, she tried to divert herself by reading books and learning a language and somehow when she came out of the trance, something else started.

She started feeling haunted. Wherever she went she started feeling that someone was following her. During nights she would get the same scene what happened on the day her mom passed away. 

She definitely felt something was wrong, the next day when she slept in her mom's room. It suddenly reminded her all her memories with her mom. Sadly,there were only very few god memories. Her head started spinning and she held her head and sat on the bed. 

A piece of paper fell from the top most rack, It was a blank paper at first then when she held it suddenly the words started appearing on the paper.

my dear daughter, 

yes, I wanted to convey something to you since very long but you know I had no way to convey this thing to you. So this was the only way left for me,dont take mumma wrong! I had no other way sweetie. the thing is I have always been a trouble for you dear, I thought before I go I should ask you the forgiveness. I am sorry sweetie, I am sorry for not able to say you soothing words,not able to give you motivation, not able to be there for you when you needed me. I am so sorry for embarrassing you in every way. I hope you will  forgive your not so beautiful not so good mom. I failed as a mom sweetie. Ask dad to get married once again and give you a mumma whom you deserve. who can love you and who can talk to you and who can look after you perfectly. Thank you sweetie for bearing me till my last breathe.  Sweetie, though i cant talk to you, i tried to understand what are your needs and tried to fulfill all your wishes. Whenever you feel some trouble is near you and you feel I should be there for you,then your one call will be enough to come and help you may not be physically but i will be there for you emotionally my dear. I will try to give you the happiness you needed by going way from you. Don't be sad that you are responsible for my death. No one is responsible for anyone's death the almighty has called me and I had to go.I will ask the almighty to give you all happiness and joy and health forever.

Amber burst into tears, she shouted loudly

'' Mummaaa!!! I am sorry mumma, had I postponed that stupid gathering,now at least you would've been with me. You never failed as mother mumma! infact you were the best. It was me who didn't care you nor treated you properly and no one can come in place of you mumma, I would never agree to that. I have only one mumma and she was,is and will be my mumma forever. I miss you mumma, I miss you toooo much. I always feel guilty and will live with this guiltiness throughout my life mumma. Please forgive me for whatever  I have done. Take me with you mumma please I dont want to live like this. "

Once again the letters started appearing

Dear I am not here to take you with me. Mumma loves you so much dear. Dont ever talk about death. Though i have felt bad whenever you were angry because of me, i never felt you were bad amber. You are the best and make mumma proud dear. My last wish has been fulfilled I need to leave right now dear. Take care of yourself and dad. Work hard and reach all your goals. Mumma was never angry on you. Just say me whatever you want to say to me for the one last time sweetie.

THE LAST WORDS I WOULD LIKE TO SAY YOU ARE" MUMMA I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. THOUGH IT WAS MY CHILDISHNESS THAT I ALWAYS SAID I WAS EMBARRASSED JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE DUMB. YES MUMMA, I ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU MEANT AND I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO HURT YOU. I AM VERY HAPPY TO GET A MOTHER LIKE YOU. GOD GAVE ME A WONDERFUL BLESSING AND BEFORE I KNEW IT HE GRABBED IT AWAY FROM ME. MUMMA YOU NEVER SPOKE, FOR ONE LAST TIME I WOULD LIKE TO HUG YOU MUMMA WILL YOU LET ME DO IT PLEASE.

Amber's mother appeared in front of her  and gave her a warm hug, when she wanted more of it, she felt her mom disappearing.

She cried all night and slept thinking about her mom

So this is a one shot i wrote based on a mother and daughter relationship. I hope this was upto the mark. I had got this idea in my mind when i saw few of my friends who were ignoring their parents and totally becoming addicts of social media. I request each and everyone to give some time from your schedule to your parents. You never know the value of the person until and unless they are away from us. Please respect the person who gave birth to you,  there might be something in them, dont see their defect, see the love they give you.
