Servants scramble around the hall to prepare for muses first birthday party. I pace through the halls perfecting the decorations. Nicki and other sprites fly past me with his giant moon beam cake. I follow them to the ballroom. Everything looks perfect except for one thing. Where is muse? He has been flying off with his father and sometimes without him. I look outside to find him stuck in a tree.  I swiftly fly up to get him. Once I carry muse down from the tree I bring him to his room, hidden from guests and servants.

I put muse in a red and white suite with his birthday hat that Morpheus made. It's red, white, and black with a blue moth on it's side. We fly towards the ballroom to start visiting guests. Everyone is there waiting with gifts for my little boys first birthday. I let muse go free while I keep a sharp eye on him. I start cutting the cake for the guests I requested to do this. I see Morpheus and muse playing with the bucket of toys. I watch them and cut the cake.

" Shit." I whisper as blood oozes out of the cut I just made with the knife. I set the knife down and walk towards the kitchen to get a bandaid I open the cabinets when I hard familiar noises. Now that I think of it I haven't seen ivory but ashen was playing with muse and Morpheus. I walk over and open the pantry. Ivory and a servant are in there making out. Ivory lifts her hands up and her head goes back leaving only her neck and chest for my servant to kiss she is only in her corset, petticoats, and stockings. When she tips her head back she laughs then sees me and stands up straight, runs her hands down his body, then turns with her dress in her hand. Once she passes me she turns to the rebellious servant. She blows him a kiss and winks. I stand in the doorway pure shock running through my body.

" Ge- Get dressed an- and get back to work!" I command my voice wavering.

" Yes your majesty." He said running past me. I walk towards the door when Morpheus barges in looking for something or someone.

" There you are. I was worried. Muse is about to eat his cake and open his gifts." He says his voice slightly frazzled. We speed walk out to the ballroom filled with many creatures celebrating our child. We all sit down as muse opens his gifts every once and a while he would drift up, his wings fluttering on their own. Morpheus , whom was sitting next to muse, would lift up his hand and pull him down. Muse got clothing and toys that he will soon grow out of. He starts to tear the last wrapping off of the box of clothing and toys from katana the ugly elf when ivory walks in her hair is in a perfect bun and a white, form fitting gown with white gems on the bodice she walks in with a fake elegance.

" I have a very important gift for the dream child. " she started.

" his name is muse!" Someone in the crowed shouted.

" Yes I know. My vet important gift is the gift of my daughter. He is officially allowed to marry her if he would like to." She said her nose up the whole time.

Our strange guests didn't speak. Morpheus and I exchanged glances.

" Thank you." Morpheus timidly said.

" Oh you are welcome." She said winking at Morpheus.

She walks out of the room and goes back to her castle. The room explodes into noise of different chatter.

" Time be for cake!" Rabid excitedly screeches running towards us as I hold up the knife to cut the gigantic cake. We take off the top which is the smallest for our prince to have. I place the cake on his high chair. He smashes his fist into the cake, it oozes all over his perfectly clean suite. His tiny hands grabbing fistfuls of the creamy white cake stuffing and it into his mouth. Once he his finally done we change him and the party is over. The three of us wait by the door and say good bye to all the guests that came to the party. One by one we watch them go. I hold muse in my arms looking at my beautiful baby boy try not to doze off into a deep sleep. Morpheus and I walk to his room and set him down for his evening nap then walk down to our room to also take a nap. I kiss him and then fall asleep.
