Though much like the moon, no amount of money, objects, or deeds could earn me you.

It didn't matter if I completely changed myself for you. You were always unmoving, never looking down to see my lonely, desperate soul from below.

You were priceless, and the whole world knew that.

Though for some reason, some of us, including me, tried to turn you into an auctioning item. Everyone claimed you as theirs, but in all honesty, you belonged to no one.

But in my eyes, your moonlight was mine, your presence was only to be felt by me, and you were a simple object that I thought I could buy.

My heart.

They all belonged to you and you only.
