Marissa's POV

My eyes fluttered open for the first time, I got blinded by the bright lights.

"Aren't those just the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen."

I looked forward and saw Miles leaning against the doorframe. He looked exhausted, I gave him a sleepy smile "Is Talia okay? I remember pushing her before she could get hurt. Is she okay?" His face fell when I mentioned his sister "T-talia is okay physically.'

I looked at him confused, "What wrong Miles? Where is Talia? Where's Leo?" I asked and he looked at me as if I was about to break.

"Riss," I knew something was wrong when he called me that "Your organs started to fail and you stopped breathing so they put you on a machine to keep you breathing. The doctor said that you needed a donor or you would die. Leo stepped in and offered-"

My heart started pounding and my eyes started to tear up "Miles where the hell is my brother?" I asked raising my voice a little.

He looked at me heart broken "They did the operation and it was a success because you are okay now but Leo-" he paused and he held my hand "He didn't make it baby. I am so sorry."

My world stopped.

My heart broke.

"You are lying. Stop lying! He isn't dead! Why would you say that!" I yelled and I shook my head in disbelief. Miles eyes caught mine and I broke down.

He pulled me into a hug and I started crying in his chest. I screamed hysterically as I held on to him.

An hour later, Miles was sleeping and I was sitting there in my bed feeling numb.

I felt a hand touch mine and I looked up and saw Leo sitting on the bed in front of me.

"Leo." He smiled at me and kissed my hand. "It's okay Rissa. I will always be here." He said and pointed at my heart. "Don't cry about me. Smile when you think about me and tell our kids about our memories. Tell Talia that I love her." He said and I started crying again.

"I love you Marissa." He said before he disappeared
