Don't Cry, Rin

There was a man who captivated my heart,
I call him "Zachrey" and saying his real name is hard.
I decided to write a letter for him one day,
And this is what he had to say.

Your love is appreciated but I'm not the right man for you,
You'll find someone else that will really love you.
I never thought that you felt that way to me,
Good bye and take care, soon you'll forget about me.

Slowly I read his message once more,
It was long but it hurts me to the core.
My teardrops fell like rain that day;
When I read what I've wrote to Zachrey

Do you still remember my favorite color, my king?
Loving you was like a sparkling, burning red in my dreams.
Thank you for painting me an interim blue sky,
In times when my skies have no light.

It was his last year and he graduated,
He's now a senior, took the course he wanted.
But his words sometimes haunt our memories;
The words that Zachrey said to me.

Your love is appreciated but I'm not the right man for you,
Soon you'll find a man that will love you, too.
I'm not your handsome groom-to-be,
Good bye and take care, you'll forget about me.

I sat on my bed and wiped my tears;
Wondering if the ending of my pain is near.
But things weren't like they were before that day,
When I told my self what I had to say.

Rin, my dear, please don't cry.
You'll forget him by and by;
You'll find someone who won't set your letters on flame;
Someone who will help you control the rain.

Message: I first heard the song when we had a group presentation at schoolーperformed by the other group. At first I only loved the music and beat, however, when I read and understood the lyrics, it hit me. The song has a very wonderful at the same time, painful meaning and I rue not loving it sooner.
