Black Gold

As I take a step,
I realized we need help.
As I glance at all this mess,
It excruciates my chest.

The green turns to blue
And it is nothing new.
Heads up, crystal clear sky above
But the ground is on fire, no love.

I miss how the sea used to gleam
But with fish cadavers, it is so mean;
I miss how the trees used to grow
In the amid of our endless sorrow.

In this world, pollution is inevitable
But this is your home since you are eligible.
We are still young, let us plant seeds
Cut less and do not pull apart at the seams.

Let us save our only home,
Do not fret for you are not alone.
For once, try unfurling the stories untold
Then together, we will destroy the earth's black gold.
