Legend

Today, 20th of March
One of the person who inspired me was born
Back then I didn't know where to start
Until I read your story and abolished my thorns.

I didn't know about your existence;
Nor your deep words with poignant meanings
Until I heard your scream in silence
And your lyrics filled my head as I was staring at the hard ceiling.

Looking at your fans make me think:
“What indeed a spectacular band you once led”
You've seen their sweet smiles when you were still living in a world that is big
Though for only a matter of time and not until the end.

Life's ain't permament
You were living in pain, sorrow and regret
Your families, friends and fans' night-long laments
Until now won't easily go away like a flying jet.

“Sang like an Angel;
Screamed like a Demon;
Lived as a Man;
Died as a Legend.”

Again, I salute to another legend
Even though I wasn't given a chance to meet him in person,
There's no denying the fact that his songs were made to mend the broken
And his one and only name is Chester Charles Bennington.
