Crying Dolphin

As my brown eyes peer at the orange-colored painting,
In the blissful world, I realize I genuinely miss going out.
But every time I open our wooden doors, it is always raining,
And the voices in my head, people shout.

As the unyielding beauty of the starry night glimmers,
What I espy seems to contradict what our hearts feel.
The sea rebuffs to have the waves of summer,
And the bluebirds taking flight above utter a squeal.

As I am back in the warm arms of melancholy,
I am living for a year inside a body full of dread.
I am trying to tuck my soul away under a red brolly,
And in the end, the wolves are still messing with my head.

As each passing day becomes verily painful,
Right now, I solely yearn for a glorious sequel.
For being alive and well, I know I should be grateful,
But as I nestle with the crying dolphin, I know we are running from evil.
