Mingyo is an Artificer. She makes magical inventions for her friends as they travel around. Apparently (in the D&D universe) her grandfather built something call The Amano Weather Machine which-for every kingdom and village in a 500 mile radius of it-created an eternal summer.

Her Backstory:

Mingyo studied under her grandfather for years until he was taken prisoner by a gang of rogues. Mingyo then spent the rest of her life building magical inventions before joining a small party and making magic inventions for them.
