Chapter Thirty Nine: Celebrations

I walked along the crowded streets of my pack, everyone was buzzing with excitement and happiness and I couldn't help but smile as everyone I passed greeted me and Joy.

I was carrying her in this front backpack type baby carrier thing that Jessa had bought. I had to admit as ridiculous as I initially felt putting it on, it was really comfortable and I liked the idea of holding my daughter close but having my arms free, as I was hesitant about bringing her in her stroller. Last thing I wanted was for someone to trip over her stroller and possibly have her get hurt in the process.

"Hey Gorgeous." I said as I saw Jessa approaching with my sister.

I bent down to kiss her and she smiled, "I didn't think you could get sexier until now." She said before kissing me.

This wasn't the first time Jessa has admitted that she sorta swoons when she sees me spending time with our daughter and I had to admit that it made me feel pretty good.

"Oh I'll take her." Evie said as she withdrew Joy from the carrier.

"Uh...you don't have to" I said a little unsure of allowing Joy to go with anyone in this crowd, even if it was my sister and my pack.

"Relax...enjoy your time alone with your fiancée." She said before she left to find her own mate.

I looked at Jessa and she smiled. I removed the carrier thing I was still wearing.

"Here." She said as she opened her large purse that doubled as the baby's diaper bag, I put it in there alongside Joy's belongings and then took Jessa's hand into my own.

"You and Evie have a good meeting?"

She beamed and then nodded. "While we're cutting it close the wedding planner agreed that she'd be able to get the flowers I wanted."

I smiled, "I'm glad to hear it."

Over the time since I've proposed I knew I wanted to marry Jessa and not just unite myself to her, so after talking things over with her, of course she had a dream wedding in mind that I was fully prepared to make sure happened for her and I. We knew we'd also have the Union so we figured we'd have the wedding ceremony, then once everyone leaves that evening we'd go through with our Union.

We both knew we didn't want to go away for a honeymoon since we had Joy now and we were both fine with that.

But one thing I wanted to make sure was that Jessa gets the wedding of her dreams, and While I wanted to marry her and go through with the Union sooner than prolonging it any longer (now that I'd found the woman I want to be my Luna forever) I only asked that we could get everything done in a matter of a month.

I knew it was a short timeframe, but My sister Evie came down to help Jessa out with the wedding planning. And to move the union along much quicker Jessa and I have been confining in each other anything and everything so that when our Union comes up and it's time for our revealing, we will have already known everything about one another, and we could move on to the more important parts...proving I can provide and protect her and then the mating... something we've already got down quite perfectly.

"What are you smiling about over there?" She asked.

I snaked My hands around her waist and drew her into me before I bet down and whispered, "Just thinking about our shower together this morning."

Instantly I smelled her scent intensify and knew she'd be turned on.

"Vale." He sounded seductively, "You're playing dirty." She said indicating I had indeed turned her on and here we were at the fall festival surrounded by people.

"Then maybe we should sneak back to the house really quick?"

She shook her head, but then kissed me... "later."

"Are you teasing me?"

She shook her head once again and then took my hand as she lead me toward one of the rides. I honestly couldn't even complain, I was happy seeing how excited she was and I wanted more than anything to allow her this moment.

Just her enjoying the fruits of her labor...this fair was her biggest project and it was finally here.

We spent the afternoon riding the various rides, talking with pack members, eating some amazing food, listening to music and when Evie and Titus returned they were now accompanied by Wex and his arms were full of giant stuffed animals.

My sister carried Joy but I noticed their kids weren't with them.

"Where are the kids?" I asked.

"Who knows...If your sister and I can get a moments peace we don't look a gift horse in the mouth." Titus said.

My sister swatted at him and shook her head, "They're with Brooke playing games."

"And it looks like you've been playing some games yourself Wex." Jessa pointed out. "You gonna have enough space in your new apartment for all of those?"

"Oh these aren't for me, they're for my number one girl, Little miss Joy..." He said before thrusting the giant bears and unicorns towards me.

My sister gave Jessa the baby and from there we all headed our separate ways once again.

Once we got home it was late but I was beyond ready to lay Joy down for the night and take my fiancée up on her suggestion of 'Later.'

I had to just check my emails really quick and I knew Jessa would get the baby settled in.

A little while later I walked up to Joy's room to check that she was asleep but found my girls both passed out in the rocking chair.

My Jessa had falled asleep while rocking Joy.

My heart beat wildly at seeing the two of them and my wolf made sounds of contentment.

Seeing my bride to be with our daughter in her arms, I finally understood what Jessa meant when she saw me with Joy...this was my complete happiness, my entire world.

I smiled so contently and finally moved into the room and carefully lifted joy off of Jessa and moved her into her crib. I gave her little back a gentle pat to lull her back to sleep as she had stirred when I picked her up.

But when I noticed she was sleeping fine I turned on her baby monitor (knowing the other one would already be in our bedroom) then I turned and made my way to Jessa.

I carefully lifted her into my arms and made my way into our bedroom.

I placed her tempting body down on her side of the bed and then sat on the edge of the bed and brushed the loose hair from her face.

I'll never understand how I got so lucky with Jessa coming into my Life the way that she did...but I will continue to constantly thank the fates for placing her on the same path as mine.

She smiled as I caressed her beautiful face.

I smiled "Go back to sleep Love."

She sat up, "Will you help me get out of my shoes?" She asked cutely.

I nodded and lifted her leg slightly to undo the strap of her shoe (wedge) before doing the same to the other one as well. "Lay back so I can cover you up." I offered gently.

But she smirked a little before and taking her bottom lip between her teeth and then shaking her head, "Will you help me get out of my dress?"

My wolf was immediately awake now.

I smirked and pushed the hem of her dress up so I could caress her creamy thighs. "Who's playing dirty now Love?" I said before she pulled my face to hers so she could kiss me to her own liking. Before too long clothes was being removed and we were exploring one another lovingly once again.
