51) Of Buttface Donkey Ass

Date: January 1st
Time: 5:45pm
Location: I'll say in Jimin's heart because I'm tired of writing in Y/n's house
Mood: Uh Oh
<><><>

That week, Y/n would categorize it as being the best of her life. Being with Jimin from the moment she woke up in the mornings to when they fell asleep at night was heaven.

From the little gestures he would make like fluffing her pillows or opening her soda drinks, to the bigger ones like how he would leave hand written notes in places for her to find and bringing her coffee in bed, she would give him back three kisses for every one of these. They'd both lost count and it was obvious that he'd received his Christmas present and more, but the two pretended not to notice.

They spent their time doing regular, everyday things but since they were doing them together, it was a whole new world. Everything was fun now. Waking up in the mornings, taking out the trash, cleaning up after themselves. They were essentially attached at the hip, and that needy part of her that she always kept hidden was satisfied.

While Y/n was already very comfortable with Jimin, she felt herself growing even more relaxed with him. The shift was subtle, but not unnoticeable. Where before she would hesitate on doing things like hugging or texting or talking to him first, lately she had taken to being more proactive.

One day she was busy texting Hyuna and came over to where he sat and curled up in his lap without warning. Another she asked him to bend down to her level and when he did, she kissed him sweetly and let it be known that she wasn't ever going to leave him, either. Then another day she spoke a little more on her childhood with her birth father. Small things like the food he would cook and what his favorite color was. Jimin listened, outwardly patient while inwardly he couldn't understand why she spoke of him in a positive light. As much as it confused him, that wasn't a topic he would bring up because that would hurt her. He didn't like it, but he learned that understanding everything wasn't important. Being kind was.

As the days progressed they bonded more than they ever had. Found out things about each other that they hadn't known before. Laughed and cried and kissed and cuddled. He loved her. She loved him. And like that, the foundation their relationship was set upon was strengthened with the love, trust, and admiration they felt for one another.

The overworked and exhausted daycare supervisor was ecstatic when Y/n came back to work a week earlier than scheduled. Little Baek Hyeon literally screamed "YOO YOO!!" when he saw her, shocking everyone in the building. Since then the small boy had refused to move from her side when they were there and would tear up when his mom arrived to take him home.

His mother was a very pretty woman in her late twenties who came in everyday wearing starched pantsuits and a name tag that read Lee Nari. After a short introduction she thanked Y/n for being someone that her son could connect with, and then went on to present to her a job offer as a private nanny for Baek Hyeon. Added up it would be better money than what she was making already and for not even half the work. The downside was less time with Jimin. But the money would really help her family...It was an adult decision she wished she didn't have to make.

Throughout the week, Taehyung would tag along when they would go out and eat. He didn't say anything else about it, but Jimin knew that he had been down and wanted to include him.

Getting to know him better, Y/n decided that she liked him a lot. He was a quiet person who never tried to pressure her into conversation, but would enjoy the silence with her and not feel awkward about it. When he did speak, the most random and strange things would come out of his mouth like, "look at that straw. Look at the audacity of that straw."

Then at other times he would talk very gently to her, speaking words of support and letting her know that she was already considered a member of their pack and family and could come to any of them if she ever needed help or just a friend. When he said things like this she had to control her emotions and not cry, lest Jimin would see and treat her like fragile glass for the rest of the day.

Occasionally a moody Jungkook would join their lunches as well. Jimin told her that the sixteen-year-old had been grumpy since Christmas when (after he had asked for new gaming PC all year) Jin said he played too many video games and needed to exercise, so he got him a punching bag instead. Now, as Jungkook put it: "Jin-hyung is going to REGRET THE DAY he ordered me to exercise more." He didn't explain what he meant by this.

Y/n...wasn't sure how she felt about Jungkook. One second he would look very innocent and sweet and say things like, "red Noona, I'm so glad hyung found you. I've never seem him so happy." But then later his innocent demeanor would slip and he would get this look in his eye before making a grab for Jimin's or Taehyung's backside.

Tae's he could have. But not her Jimin's! When this first occurred she was startled and looked to the older guys, expecting the same level of shock. There was none. It was like they didn't even notice. They kept on standing there, staring at the board in the local coffee shop, sharing small talk over what they thought tasted better. All while Y/n and Jungkook were having a silent and very confusing war of hormones behind them.

Or something.

When it happened a second time she suspected Jungkook of doing this on purpose, but then was thrown off by the cute giggle he let escape...right as his stupid, greedy hands were going for her mate's derrière yet again!!

Before she could stop herself, she stopped him instead. Grabbing him by the arm and tugging gently, she gave him the sternest glare she could manage. Making a scene or hurting his feelings was the last things she wanted to do and just then she regretted that she hadn't been able to control herself. Jungkook was still a kid...a kid who was touching her boyfriend in ways she had yet to touch him.

Awkwardly she let go of his arm and dropped into a short bow without looking his way. She muttered incoherently about going to find them a table and took off.

Too bad for her that Jungkook came along to 'help'. When she sat down and let out a relieved sigh, the teen plopped into the chair across the table. Realizing the situation too late, her brain scrambled for more escape plans but came up empty.

Jungkook grinned evilly and leaned across the table as he wiggled his fingers animatedly. "It's as soft as pillows and resilient as velvet covered rubber."

Scandalized, she gasped and her hands clapped over her now very red face.

"My new punching bag, that is." A pure tone of innocence finished his earlier sentence. "What were you thinking about, red noona?"

When he studied her with a suspicious eyebrow raised she gulped and tried to rub away the flush in her cheeks. "N-nothing. I-I-I was-wasn't th-thinking anything!"

"Are you sure?" As his voice held a note of disbelief, she squirmed in her seat. "You're not a pervert, are you?"

"No! I-I'm not! I sw-swear!"

Another giggle from him. "Why not? I am..."

"That's...huh?"

He shrugged. "I like you better than the last one."

"W-who?" She was starting to get whiplash. Thankfully this was when Jimin and Taehyung arrived. In a millisecond Jungkook reverted back to his pure dongsaeng act.

Other than this, their week together was full of bliss.

...Now go back and read that in a sarcastic tone.

It was a seven day period of firsts. First time saying I love you. First time talking about Y/n's dad in depth. First sleepover they had together. And of course, their first real fight. One morning on the way to work she asked him how his allergies were doing. Having no idea (and no memory of claiming he had allergies) what she was talking about, he asked why she thought he had allergies.

That was the wrong thing to say. When she reminded him of everything, he tried to backpedal. It was too late. The car rang with a deadly silence as Jimin gripped the steering wheel and sweat profusely. Y/n glared out the window, feeling stupid and hurt.

"Are you mad?" Jimin was aware it was a stupid question but he had to say something.

"No." It wasn't a lie. She wasn't mad. Her feelings were hurt. If anything, she was more angry with herself for believing everything he said. She'd always known that the allergy story was dumb, but believing that Jimin had lied to her wasn't something she wanted to face. At least he had lied for a good reason. It wasn't like he could have admitted he was a werewolf at the time. So, even though she was hurt she made the decision to forgive him. It wasn't an argument worth having.

But Jimin didn't believe her, and his next words would be the catalyst of their first argument. "If you're mad, just say it."

"I'm not mad-"

"Now look who's lying." Sometimes, he was too sassy for his own good. He glanced over to see her reaction and flinched at the dirty look she threw at him.

Despite looking like she was ready to disembowel him, her voice was calm and steady. "I think you need to stop and think about your words before you say them."

"I said I was sorry and you rejected it."

"That's literally not what happened...?" After taking a moment to collect herself, she tried again. "I'm not angry. I'm-"

"Baby, were never going to be able to move past this until you be honest."

"WHAT IN THE-"

And that was where it took off. They spent the last few minutes they had before work arguing in the parking lot. A lot of words were exchanged. She called him a buttface donkey ass and he said "yeah and you love this buttface donkey ass!!" Then when she pointed out that she did, in fact, love this buttface donkey ass, but didn't love his current buttface donkey ass behavior, he realized that maybe she had a point and wanted to hear her out.

But Y/n and buttface donkey ass would have to wait until their shift ended to finish this argument. All day she was irritated every time she remembered it. But to her complete frustration, still missed him.

Things with her boyfriend weren't stellar at the moment, but she couldn't say the same for her group of kids. They were extra fun today.

Hee-jin announced her future run for presidency of the country. "Mommy say I can be da pwesident when I fowa and zewo."

"That's right." Y/n smiled. "You can run for office when you're 40." The little girl looked confused by the wording so she quickly asked, "why do you want to be president?"

"Cause den I can eat aaall da watamelon."

"Wow," She put a lot of emphasis on the word and the toddler glowed at the attention, "you like watermelon that much?"

"Ahuh! And rainbows."

That was cute and Y/n thought they couldn't get more adorable. That is, until Sang-Ook asked Yeona to be his girlfriend. It was the talk of the class. Sang-Ook had gone over to the art section and crafted a ring out of one of the bendable fuzzy sticks. He got on his knee and proposed, promising to share his fruit snacks and to let her have the first turn going down the slide. She said, "shua." (Sure) and accepted the blue, fuzzy ring.

The majority of the girls applauded and squealed. The boys gagged and hid their eyes. Hyuna grumbled about how toddlers had a better love life than she did. A sharp eyed Carl, recognizing the signs of an upcoming disaster if he didn't act fast, scooped up one kid and raced off to the restroom. Jimin debated with Wolfy on whether it was too early to buy Y/n an engagement ring.

At the end of the work day, they were both tired and missing one another. Making up wasn't so hard. Though tired, they both agreed that talking in depth about it was important and that was how the next hour was spent. Laying it all on the table, talking it through, and then apologizing in the only way they knew how. Honesty and a lot of kisses.

Throughout the week she would read the book Namjoon's father had written. It was (for lack of a better word) fascinating. Beginning with how werewolves came to be, how each pack was separated by land and then moving on to the different ranks and how they were determined. Once a basic understanding was established, the book then moved into teaching everything about a werewolf's nature.

A lot of it did not surprise her. How Jimin was so fast and strong. Why he was obsessed with her every move and why she always felt those sparks when they touched. Finally she understood why he disappeared on the full moon and why it affected her as well. Essentially, Wolfy was in control and he, being the wolf, was the other half of her soul. During the time of the full moon when all his instincts were in hyperdrive, the two halves were meant to be joined together. Not kept apart.

This put her in the awkward position of having to tell Jimin about what she had been experiencing. She was confused on why he didn't already know about the stress that it brought her, as it was certain in her mind that he would never let her be in any kind of pain if he could help it. Perhaps it had slipped his mind or more likely, maybe he didn't know.

The book told her that being with him during that time was dangerous for her because it would be too much of a temptation for him to mark her. She rejected that idea. Jimin wouldn't hurt her. And now that she understood what marking was and what it represented, she knew. Jimin would never mark her without her consent. Not the guy who would turn his back to give her privacy if she was too embarrassed. Not her gentleman who opened every single door she approached. Not her sweet boyfriend who would blow on any hot beverage before letting her drink it. Not him. Not ever.

Spending a full moon with him sounded fun. Especially since it would be Wolfy in Jimin form. They had met, but they'd never spoken. This thought made her feel especially shy. What would Wolfy say when they had the opportunity for a conversation? Would he be like Jimin and insist on sleeping on the couch and she in her room? Or would he want to share the bed? A blush spread across her face. Of course he wouldn't ask for something like that. Wolfy was a sweetheart.

"What's my mate thinking about that's got her so red?" Jimin's teasing voice broke into her thoughts.

It was the last night before her family was to come home, and he'd been especially clingy all day. The only moment she had to herself was the quick shower after supper. They were sat on the living room rug facing the television and Jimin was busy towel drying her hair from behind. On the screen was a program he had a chosen and she found herself unexpectedly entertained.

"Them." She tried to blame her flushed state on the men on screen. Jimin grew silent behind her but he needn't have worried. Cha Eun-woo was handsome, but he wasn't Jimin.

"Mm." He hummed. "He's good looking, I'll give him that."

She had to bite down on her lip to keep from laughing. "I guess. But John Walsh is better."

Having had this conversation before, he had been told that John Walsh wasn't any real competition, so he knew she was playing. That didn't mean he liked the game. But he would play.

He growled playfully before telling her, "say that again and I'll bite you."

In response she fell silent and he worried she had taken it seriously until she quietly asked in a hesitant way:

"Jimin? When do...um...when do mates mark each other?"

"O-oh uh—" Unprepared for this line of questioning, he was flustered and redder than Y/n was most days. Thankfully she couldn't see him. He focused and continued to dry her hair as he searched for the proper answer. "It's different for everyone."

"How?"

Was this the right time to have this conversation? Jimin couldn't decide if he wanted to have it or search for a way to escape. Furthering his bashful attitude towards such an intimate topic, was the casual way in which she spoke about it. Since when was she so bold?

Too shy to look, he would never see the deep scarlet state of her face.

"It depends on if the couple is ready. Some do it as soon as possible. Some wait years."

"It's normal to wait?"

"It is...when it's a wolf and a human." He said carefully. Of course he was dying to mark her. But he was also afraid of moving too fast, of scaring her, or making her feel pressured.

"Oh." Her voice was low and in response, his movements stilled. "Isn't that...um, hard for you?"

Relaxing a bit, he resumed his work of drying her hair, his hands decidedly more steady than his heart rate. "Not at all. Besides, it won't work if you don't want it."

She hummed in agreement. "Yes. It said that. I don't understand that part though. Why won't it hurt just because I consent?"

"I don't know. Magic?" The tension left the room as she giggled.

Tension came trotting his unwelcome self back in at her next question.

"When, um...when will you...?"

Again, Jimin would like to know when she got so brazen. Through his own blushing, flustered and bothered self he managed to squeak out an answer. "When we're ready."

"Right. Ok, that makes sense."

As she nodded he pulled his hands from her hair and began to vigorously fan himself.

"When will you be ready?"

Wolfy didn't say a word but Jimin could feel him paying rapt attention to everything she said, his sharp senses trained on the relaxed body language Y/n was giving off. He watched her as well, searching for any sign of discomfort. Confusion, timidity and a spark of hope rolled into one as he gently turned her round so that they were facing each other. A small bit of relief hit him as he couldn't help but notice that she was blushing as much as he, yet she held his gaze.

"Baby?" He asked softly and reached out to take a hand in each of his own. "What's on your mind?"

She looked down at their interlocked fingers and spoke lowly, that regular tint of shyness in her voice a little more prominent now. "I want to spend the full moon with you."

That wasn't what he was expecting her to say. Wolfy let out a whimper and his tail wagged in a cautious wave. "You do? But, you read everything...you know it can be dangerous."

Her eyes moved from their hands to meet his own before she said three words that made him fall in love with her all over again. "I trust you."

If Wolfy wasn't happy enough before, he certainly was now. His tail wagged so hard Jimin could swear he felt it thumping away inside his head. Hearing her say that was just as amazing as hearing her say she loved him. Due to her past, trust was not an easy thing to gain from her, so hearing that coming from her meant the world to him.

However it also brought him a load of concern and uncertainty. She trusted him, but did he trust himself? Wolfy was the mellow, logical one. Always had been. But full moon was different. It had a way of taking ones morals and self control and pushing it to their limits. Yet...Y/n wanted it and he couldn't say no to her.

"I don't have to mark you for us to spend full moon together, if that's what you're thinking."

"You don't?" The absence of relief in her voice made his stomach do a somersault. "Then why can't we be together on full moon? And when will you...?"

"When it's time." He tried to control his tone from sounding too eager. A small part of him hoped that she wanted to be marked now, but a larger part said that it was too early, despite whether they wanted it or not. It killed him to hold himself back, but this concerned the most precious person in the world and he wasn't willing to take any chances when it came to her.

A small frown pushed her eyebrows together as she persisted. "You keep saying that, but when is it time? I thought the book said werewolves instantly want to do it." Once she noticed his slightly exasperated expression, she looked down and began to apologize. "I'm sorry if I'm being pushy—I don't mean to be. I'm just ignorant on the subject."

"It's alright. Let's wait a year. If you still want me to mark you in 365 days then I will." He proposed. To his surprise, and Wolfy's happiness, she looked disappointed. However, he wasn't going to backtrack on his words or go rushing into this...no matter how good she smelled or how enticing that ear of hers really was.

After some time she asked for a more detailed explanation on why he wanted to wait. Never in his life had he blushed so much. It was a long and awkward (on his part) conversation that was needed, thanks to her persistence on the subject. He stressed as gently as he could that, even though marking was what he wanted more than anything, that it was too important to jump into. At the end of the conversation she didn't look any happier, but now understood where he was coming from. However, he did agree to spending the full moon together. As long as Hoseok would concede in a request to watch over them.

The rest of the night was spent watching the tv program and chatting during the commercials. Jimin tried stay awake as long as he could but eventually gave in to exhaustion. The work day hadn't been long, only tough as the little girls he watched over treated him as though he were a jungle gym.

Giving him a goodnight kiss on the forehead, Y/n shut off the television and covered him in the blanket to ensure he stayed warm. The house was so quiet when he slept that it made her sad. While she dreaded him having to go back to living in his own home, a guilty part of her was eager to get back to normal. Normal was Rosie's wild, loving energy, her mom's home cooking, and family movie nights. This told her that she was still very young because the thought of leaving home or going too long without them scared her.

In addition, it would be nice to live everyday in a world where she didn't have to pretend that morning breath wasn't something she woke up with.

She thought all of this. But then the next day? She was just as clingy as he.

"I don't want to leave you," he whined for the eighth time. "How did we used to do this?"

Taehyung had come by to pick him up. Jimin's bag already packed, he had taken it down to the car and then left them there to give them a moment of privacy.

.......More like he escaping the ridiculous extra-ness of Jimin. The moment was far more dramatic than it had to be, as they were acting like they were on the Titanic and Y/n had chosen to go down with the ship while Jimin was leaving via life boat. The grown man (Tae tried not to let that sink in, no pun intended) wasn't letting go of his mate and was looking about ready to cry. He sighed and haphazardly threw his friend's bag into the back as he climbed into the driver's seat. How long was Jimin going to be? Because he was hungry.

Back in the apartment, Jimin was trying not to cry. He squeezed Y/n tight, eliciting a squeak from her.

"Jimin, it's ok." She tried to reassure him through her own frown. "Why don't you go stay at Namjoon's house for a few days? That always makes you feel better."

He grumbled something into her shoulder that she couldn't make out. Asking for clarification, he lifted his face and gave her a pout that made his bottom lip stick out. "Tae's cuddles aren't the same. "They're good, but sometimes I wake up and he's poking my back with his bo-"

"J-Jimin!! I'm sorry, I really am. But oppa said they're on the way and almost here, so..." even though she was the one who said it, her arms tightened around him.

They'd come to the decision that she would go ahead and officially tell her family about their relationship. Despite her fear that Seo-Joon wasn't going to take it lightly and would probably try to hunt Jimin down and do god knows what to him, this had to be done. She didn't want to keep lying and having to hide. Initially her fear had been reserved for Jimin when it came to her brother's over protective nature. Now she worried for Seo-Joon. What if they really came to blows and Jimin accidentally took her brother's head off?

"You'll tell them tomorrow?" He grumbled.

"Yes. As soon as everyone is settled in. I promise I will."

"Ok." Looking like he had just been told that his entire family was dead, he gave her one last hug and pulled away.

She pulled him back and aggressively cuddled into his chest.

"What are you doing?" He moaned before flinging his arms back around her waist. "You know I can't reject your hugs!"

"I don't know. I can't help it. I miss you already."

"Let's run away together." He threw the suggestion out there jokingly...for the most part.

"Can we bring Rosie?" Her voice was small and hopeful and he couldn't help but to immediately agree to giving her the entire universe.

"Of course."

"And mom?"

"Absolutely."

"And dad?"

"Sure."

"And oppa?"

"We'll talk about it."

"Ok. I love you. Bye."

"I love you. Bye."

No one moved. At this point, they were going to have to be separated with the jaws of life.

Or Taehyung.

A banging at the door and the buzzing of the bell ringing an obnoxious amount of times finally broke them apart. Stomping like a brat across the room, Jimin went over and ripped the door open to be met with a terrified and out breath Taehyung. Clapping a hand over Jimin's mouth, he shoved him back inside and let the door close behind them. The couple ceased all movement. They already knew what was wrong before anyone had to ask.

Taehyung gasped for breath before letting out the dreaded words. "Hide—no time—family-"

Right on cue, sounds of movement on the other side of the door sounded. Someone inputting numbers into the keypad and an excited toddler yelling for Unnie. For a second, Y/n's heart leapt happily at the sound. But then she remembered the shit storm they were in.

Bonus scene

<> The Missing Play Fight From Chapter 40<>

"Red, I'm serious."

As Jimin stood with his hands on his hips and his face stern, Y/n was two meters away and clutching a plushie with a heart shaped head to her chest, a mischievous glint to her eye. The tension was palpable.

"I don't know any red, I only know marshmallow." She teased while swaying from side to side.

"Then marshmallow," he stressed and held out an expectant hand, "give Tata back."

A slight pout formed on her lips and he tried not to let it distract him. Tried being the operative word. She made no move to hand the plushie over and the fierce jealousy in him increased. This all started when she had dared to pick up Tata and give him a kiss.

He's stealing our kisses.

Wolfy was on his side with this one. Y/n, and all her her kisses, were theirs and only theirs. A possessive growl lingered in the back of throat as he observed her bringing Tata closer to her lips again. The playfulness she was displaying was new, but he did not care for this type of play.

"I don't want to." She hugged the plushie tight and he imagined ripping it's heart shaped head off. If her kissing the thing wasn't enough to drive him over the edge, then her next declaration certainly was. "I love Tata." She pronounced before adding on as an after thought, "and John Walsh."

"THAT'S IT!"

A high pitched shriek came from her throat as he shot towards her. She dodged and took off out of his bedroom, the sounds of her giggles trailing down the hall behind her. Wolfy perked up immediately. He didn't like to hunt, but chasing his mate was too enticing to pass up.

"Get back here!" Although he did not appreciate this random plushie stealing his girl, Jimin laughed as well and took off after her. It would be effortless on his end to catch her and even if that idea was appealing, he kept a lid on his strength and speed and let her get away. The chase was the best part.

The sound of his footsteps behind made her go faster. She slid on her socks as they entered the dining area and made a quick turn to put the table in-between them.

Their eyes met across the table. A predatory grin took over as he watched her inch in one direction around the table, but then halted when he started coming for her that way. She tried the other direction and was met with the same results. Throwing caution to the wind, she ran, but all that achieved was the both of them running in a half circle around the table before being forced back again. She was trapped and they both knew it but she wasn't ready to give up.

Her mouth dropped open as she pointed over his shoulder. "Look, it's Usher!"

Gasping in excitement, he looked over his shoulder. But she lied! Usher wasn't there!

Are you on crack?

When he turned back she was escaping the room, her hair trailing behind her like intertwining ribbons. Just as they entered the living room a squeal rang out when he dove for her. He missed and ended up in a heap on the sofa, which made her laugh loudly, one arm still securing Tata at her side and the other holding her stomach. That morphed into a girlish scream as he jumped from the sofa and tackled her to the ground.

BE CAREFUL WITH MY BABY!

From there it turned into a grappling match over the plushie in her arms. A match that he lost miserably, as she clutched it tightly to her chest and he was far too...nervous to put his hands near that area without permission.

As a result of his loss (or was this a win?) he decided to get his revenge by tickling her sides until she began to weakly hit him with the Tata plushie that had started this entire thing.
