The last week had been torturous for Jimin. It had all started that day at the hospital. Out of his mind on whatever drugs were injected in his system, all he had wanted was for Y/n to look at him. Eyes so pretty but they hardly drifted his way. Yearning for her gaze, he'd first tried singing at the top of his lungs. It had seemed like a plausible plan of action.

When that failed he'd gone into full blown flirting but all that had achieved was more of her adorable blushing. Then his best friend had come in and touched her. Just an innocent pat on the back and that had been all it took for his wolf to fully take over in a way he never had before.

That part of himself had always been the mellow, chill side. Until that day, Jimin, and he suspected his wolf, had no idea he was capable of that. This whole mate business was more powerful than he had realized.

Of his pack mates, Taehyung was the last one he would ever think of hurting, and the fact that he had tore him up inside.

Taehyung had been his best friend since grade school. For as long as he could remember having friends, Taehyung was always there. They talked about anything and everything under the sun. He was his best friend, his main companion, the person Jimin knew he could always lean on for support and talk to when he needed a listening ear. Thanks to Taehyung's freakish strength he hadn't really been able to hurt him, but just the thought that he had tried weighed him down with guilt.

He knew without a doubt that Taehyung would never hurt him, so the fact that it had almost happened weighed heavily on his conscience.

Although, once Jimin had awoken the next day, free of drugs and in his own bed, guilt was the last thing from his mind. What had started it all had come to rest at the forefront and that person was Yoongi.

That was when he made the decision. He was going to sit on his hyung and get answers for why he was hanging around his mate.

The day was bright. Sun shining, birds singing their morning songs and the orange and yellow leaves drifting from the trees to paint the ground in color. All was normal.

Except for the raging werewolf with buns of steel, stalking across the pack grounds in search for the one he would crush with his mighty ass.

...Now go back and read that in the most serious tone manageable.

The normally relaxed wolf inside of him urged him on, more on the side of gaining knowledge than crushing Yoongi, but he wasn't opposed to using violence(?) if need be.

After that, he planned to find Y/n and hide her. Maybe lock her in his bedroom or in Namjoon's wine cellar, but preferably an impenetrable fortress of some sort. He wasn't sure why this was suddenly on his agenda, but it seemed important at the time.

Knowing his red marshmallow was out in the world unprotected and all tiny and fragile was getting him more riled up than usual. On a normal basis his wolf would talk down his worries and assure him that Y/n was fine. But now he was relenting that maybe Jimin had a point and that they should find her and protect her, maybe encase her in bubble wrap.

He loved her size, but just then he raged at whoever was up there for making her so freakishly short like some sort of Santa worshiping elf.

The moment Namjoon's house came into sight he sped up, the faint trace of Yoongi's scent bringing another spike of anger. Once inside the door he was able to spot Jungkook munching on a bowl of cereal at the kitchen counter as Jin was checking over his homework, sighing heavily every time he found a wrong answer or error, which unfortunately was more often than not.

"Good morning!" Hoseok chirped as he walked in and spotted Jimin stalking inside. His expression dropped when he sensed something off about him. "What's wrong?"

Clenching his fist in order to reign his anger in, he replied in the form of a question. "Where is Yoongi?"

Jin and Hoseok shared a look at the lack of a suffix, a blatant sign of disrespect. Squaring his shoulders, the eldest turned, readying himself to deliver the mother of all scoldings but was halted by the hand Hoseok held up.

"Why, Jimin?" he asked, surveying the younger man up and down as something was starting to register in his mind. "What did he do?"

"My mate hasn't been scented and he's been hanging around my mate and I want to know why!" he spit out, his fists clenched tighter and his nails bit into both palms.

With that, his anger was justified in the mind of the other three, even though not one of the trio had found their own counterparts yet. In werewolf culture that was a big, fat no-no to go near a wolf's mate before they'd had the opportunity to mark their territory. What Yoongi was being accused of was far more disrespectful than what Jin had almost scolded Jimin for moments earlier.

Still, even with that knowledge, Hoseok had a gut feeling that there was more to this. Something about the wild look in Jimin's eyes, the tension in his shoulders, the intensity of his anger was vaguely familiar to him. Something he hadn't seen in a few years, but still remembered clearly. Like a light bulb had turned on over his head, he dropped a hand to the maknae's shoulder.

"Kook, go get Namjoon for me, please."

As the youngest left, Jimin attempted to push past but Hoseok held up an arm to block his path, something that the younger man didn't appreciate.

"Why are you blocking me, hyung? I need to-"

He could have issued an alpha command and got him to obey easily, but Hoseok wanted to give Jimin an opportunity to reign in his temper. Lord knows the younger man needed to learn patience. Instead he attempted to placate, moving the arm he had blocked him with to place on his shoulder, so that he wouldn't feel trapped.

"Jimin-ie, he's not here, but let's talk. I have a inkling-"

In a flash Jimin's entire face darkened as if a storm cloud had come to rest overhead. It was between clenched teeth and a rage filled voice that he interrupted with, "where is he?"

The mood had shifted into a more dangerous one and both of the other wolves in the room felt it. Jin unconsciously took a step backward as Hoseok's face hardened, his eyes taking on a bright, golden glow.

"SIT. DOWN."

Jimin's backside crashed into the unoccupied stool Jungkook had left behind before he could even think to protest. It was automatic reflex to obey an alpha's order. Hoseok didn't issue commands often but when he did it reminded everyone that there was another side to their sunshine. A side they didn't want to mess with.

An instant later he was back to Hobi, their fun loving, sweet talking friend who wouldn't hurt a fly. The switch made Jimin's head ache, on top of the perplexity of the situation. Why exactly he was forcing him to sit and stay was completely lost on him.

"Jinie-hyung, can you get the calendar?" he asked sweetly.

"Sure," Jin replied, also wary and confused. "The calendar, or the calendar?"

Hoseok smiled. "The calendar."

Run.

Jimin's wolf attempted to coax him into moving and honestly he tried, but it was like his butt was glued to the stool. He knew exactly what the calendar meant but was failing to see how it pertained to him in this situation. Only werewolves had a lunar calendar in every home and that was to keep track of the approaching full moon in order to proceed with caution.

Full moon for their kind was intense, to say the least. It brought along an increase to all of their senses; taste, touch, smell, sound. For mated wolves it generally wasn't a time to worry over very much, considering they could ease one another's symptoms. For un-mated wolves, it was a less than enjoyable experience, but not unbearable. For wolves who have found their soul's counterpart, but hadn't fully mated or marked the other, it could get dangerous.

Dangerous because wolves were territorial, especially over their mates. Dangerous because marking was seen as intimate and deeply bonding, something that should only be shared between two willing participants and never forced. To go against the rule would result in banishment. The only exception to that rule was in the case of minors, as they were more prone to losing control over their wolves and emotions.

Thinking it over and knowing the risks, it calmed his wolf down to think of the possible hazard they presented to Y/n if Hoseok were to let them go. Which seemed doubtful at this point, but he was currently staring at the lunar calendar with a pair scrunched eyebrows.

"As of today we're only at eighty percent full." he titled his head thoughtfully. "Maybe I was wrong..."

"No." Jimin finally spoke up. Whatever was causing him to feel like he needed to kidnap Y/n and hide her wasn't normal, and definitely not in her best interest. Though his wolf sounded irritated and wary at his own words, he insisted that they needed to stay away from her for now. Acknowledging the more reasonable side of himself, he hated to agree, but knew he had to.

"Hyung, lock me up." Both his hyungs looked up at these unexpected words, just as Jungkook returned with Namjoon at his side. "I feel crazy, like I need to go and grab her and I'm scared. I don't know what I'll do and I don't want to hurt her. Please just lock me up, for her."

So that was how the next four days went. Locked up in Namjoon's wine cellar as he progressively grew crazier by the second. It was bad enough with the days leading up to it, and something that no one could make sense of. Namjoon and his giant brain deduced that it may have affected him more because he was injured, and that put his wolf on high alert so that he started to panic and became more defensive.

In the end Jimin was glad he had made the decision to allow them to trap him here, because at full moon he felt absolutely insane and out of control. He had thought the three days beforehand were hard. But full moon was unbearable. Every cell in his body screamed for her. His wolf, always the reasonable voice in his head, flipped like a switch and took over, trying everything he could to escape. It hadn't worked, thanks to the iron barred door, made to ensure he stayed inside.

They'd learned after Namjoon's own full moon fiasco years earlier.

The morning after he awoke feeling sluggish, a high fever and his stapled wound leaking a foul, green puss. Due to the present situation his health had taken a back burner. That proceeded with another trip to the hospital, this time with Jin. The entire ride consisted of a lecture on the importance of taking care of his health and nonsense threats like, "If you die I'm going to kill you!" And then the whole time in the hospital all he heard from his hyung was, "it smells so good in here! I wonder what type of cleaner they use. I think I'll go ask."

The last three days were spent recovering and he could honestly say those days were easier than the ones previous. By the time Tuesday rolled around he was able to head back to school. Though he preferred to skip it and go straight back to find his red marshmallow, he knew he had a lot of school work to catch up on.

The morning was tortuously slow until a text from Namjoon, informing him of a lunch with Y/n. Without thinking, he ran.
