Flashback to what happened at the end of the last chapter

Jacob's POV

So I just met my mate's family and it was pretty cool.... Oh who am I kidding this shit is fucking terrifying! I'm the only wolf out of 3 vampires all in the same room. Even if I'm an Alpha that doesn't mean they won't hesitate to beat my ass. Even if my mate just came of age he can still beat my ass if I'm being completely honest right now. So how do I break down the other part of being my mate, that I haven't told any of them yet. I hope that his mom and brother knows then that would be less shocked vampires to deal with.

Back to the Present

Jacob's POV

"So.... babe?"

"Yeah love?"

"You do remember why we came here right?" I remind him.

"Oh yeah! Thanks love!"

After Dillon thanked me he gave me a kiss and then turned back to his family.

Dillon's POV

"So, explain to me right now why I am like this?"

"Oh! right..." Mother says

"So well.... as you know, you are a vampire..." My brother starts off

"Yes I think I've already established that with my boyfriend." I snapped back

"Ok ok ok, calm down hun." Mother tells me

"You know she's right love. You need to calm down a little and give them a moment to explain themselves ok?" My boyfriend tells me while back hugging me.

"Yeah ok, you're right." I say and he kisses the nape of my neck and starts to back away from me but I grab him and hold him still.

"If I'm going to reasonable right now, you are to stay right where you are."

"Ok love. Fine by me!" He says tightening his hold on me, and snuggling into my neck. As I smile lovingly at him and the action.

Laura's POV

Wow, just looking at them makes me smile. They really love each other even if they're supposed to be enemies. I love my son more than anything and I will trust him to be with his mate and that they'll take care of themselves. I can really see that he's genuinely happy. At least... happier than he's been ever since he came out to us. Ian and I didn't care what he loved or preferred, we only cared if he was happy with himself. But his ass hat of a father is just so thickheaded he just doesn't understand that our children's happiness is worth so much more than them liking the same gender, and that abusing your kid will not achieve what you think should have happened in the beginning. You know what? I thinks it's about time for us to leave our so called 'home' now that Dillon has finally come of age. But first I need to tell Dillon how this happened and why, and hopefully talk to Jacob about the other half of Dillon being his mate and see if he's told Dillon yet.

Ian's POV

I'm so happy for my little brother. He finally has some sort of happiness in this dark ass household. I feel like a shitty older brother because I was supposed to be there for him and protect him from our shitty ass 'father'. But I just stood back in the shadows and played along with dad acting like he has no right to even be breathing the same air as us, and I hate myself greatly for that. I just wish I could just go back in time and loved him more and stood up for not only him but for myself. But what's gonna happen now that Dillon has come age?

3rd Person's POV

"Hey love?"

"Yes Jacob?"

"Can I speak with you in private after we talk to your family?"

"Yeah, sure! Anytime my love!" Jacob says with a smile.

I know guys I'm sorry I've just been REALLY busy with school and I have exams coming up and It's just been hard to come up with stuff. I'm also sorry for coming back and leaving you guys on a cliffhanger and that this is probably shorter than the majority of my other chapters.
