Part 1

Skye POV

"It has been a long time since I was last in Korea" I sighed as I breathed in the fresh air. I had only visited Korea a few times when I was younger, but I still loved it. My father's business had decided that he was needed overseas. He didn't want to leave my mother behind, so they both moved to the States.

Even though I was born in the States, my parents taught me Korean so that when we went to visit family I would know how to talk properly.

"Skye!" I heard someone call my name.

I turned to look and saw my uncle rushing over to greet me. I was really glad that he agreed to hire me. I've always wanted to work for an entertainment company in Korea because I loved the music.

"Thank you so much uncle" I said as he gave me a big hug.

        "How are your parents?"

"They are doing well. They are a bit disappointed that I decided to come here rather than finding a job closer to home, but they understood after I explained why I wanted to work here."

"I'm glad" he chuckled. "I wouldn't want to do anything my sister would disapprove of."

My uncle is the CEO of a small entertainment company called Woollim, but he really has an eye for talent. I think that is why his artists are starting to gain recognition.

My uncle drove me to the apartment he had set up for me. "Wow! This place is amazing!" I smiled as I looked around.

"I'm glad you like it" he said as he placed my suitcase down. "I wish I could stick around, but..."

        "I understand" I smiled.

"You start work tomorrow, so make sure to arrive on time"

"I will" I said as I gave him a hug. "Thank you again Uncle."

After he left, I unpacked a few things and then went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, I quickly showered and changed into something appropriate. I figured a pair of Khakis and a golf shirt would be good. I just hope that they realize I'm a girl for once.

That's right! I'm a girl! Ever since I was young, I have always been mistaken for a boy because of my name. Plus the fact that I'm rather tomboyish doesn't help. I've gotten used to it, but still.... it would be nice if someone actually realized I was a girl for once.

I arrived at the office building and security took my picture for my ID badge. Then they told me which office I would be assigned to and directed me there. When I arrived at the office, everyone was already running around.

"I can't believe their manager is running late!" one of the girls screamed.

"Who are we going to send to pick them up?"

"You!" one of the workers pointed and screamed as he walked over to me. "Who are you?"

"Hello, my name is Song Skye. I'm new to the office starting today" I said with a bow.

"Here" he said as he handed me a piece of paper and some keys.

        "What is this?"

        "You have a license, right?"

        "Yes I do, but....."

"Good! Go and pick up the idol group and bring them back to the studio" he said and then walked away.

What a great way to start my first day at the office. I turned around and walked to the parking garage. When I found the van, I climbed inside, imputed the address into the GPS and took off to collect the idol group.

I arrived at the apartment building and made my way up to their dorm. I unlocked the door with the pass code I was given and went inside. I was shocked to see so many pairs of shoes lying on the ground. Don't they even know how to pick up after themselves?

"Hyung, Is that you?" I heard someone ask as I walked into the main room.

        "Sorry, but no" I replied.

        "Who are you?"

"Your manager was running late so they sent me to get you." I looked around and it seemed like they were still in the process of getting ready. "Hurry up and let's go!"

"Umm" one of them shyly rubbed the back of his head.

        "What is it?"

        "Well.... you see...."

"Spit it out! I don't have all day!"

He pointed to one of the rooms nervously. I walked over, opened the door and was shocked to see one of them still lying in bed holding a bottle of liquor. I was beyond pissed. This is not how I expected my first day at work to be at all.

I walked over to the bed mat, kicked it and screamed at the lazy jerk "Stop throwing a tantrum like a little boy and get up!" I grabbed the bottle out of his hand and added "Even though you are old enough to drink, you shouldn't over do it. It's not healthy."

Sungjong POV

What the hell! How long are they going to keep treating me like a girl? Haven't I done enough girly stuff already? Why do they keep emphasizing that I like girl group dances? Why do they keep giving me feminine looking outfits?

I grabbed another bottle of soju and went to my room. I'm really not in the mood to perform tomorrow. I downed the bottle quickly and passed out.

The next thing I know I'm being yelled at by someone I don't even know.

"What did you call me?" I asked as I looked up at the person who came in my room without permission.

Whoever it was, walked back over and bent so that we were looking each other in the eye.  "I called you a little boy because that is how you're acting, but anyone can tell that you're a man so start acting like one." They walked out of my room and started shouting again "You have fifteen minutes to get dressed and meet me in the van. Don't be late, because you won't like it if I have to come back up here."

I was shocked that anyone would talk to me like that. I don't know why, but I kind of like this guy. I quickly got up and dressed before running out of the dorm screaming "Come on guys! We don't want to be late!"

When we got outside, I rushed over to the van and hopped in the passenger seat before the others tried.

"What are you doing?" our new manager asked.

"So that there is more room, one of us always sits up here" I replied with a smile.

        "Whatever" Hyung sighed. "Buckle up!"

As we were driving to the studio, I asked "What's your name?"

        "Why?"

I didn't know what to say, but thankfully Sunggyu said "We like to know the names of the staff we work with."

"Ahh, well I was only sent to pick you up because your manager was running late. I'm not really a part of your staff."

He's not a part of our staff? Why? He's so cool! I was really hoping to have someone like him on our staff. Maybe then I'd actually have someone on my side and he could help me out so that they didn't keep making me girly.

Skye POV

Thankfully we arrived at the studio without any problems. We all got out of the van and as I walked around, I saw all of them looking at the passenger seat. Looks like the troublemaker didn't want to cooperate after all.

"You guys go inside. We'll follow shortly." I watched as the others walked inside and then I turned, knocked on the window and motioned for him to get out. Surprisingly, he did as he was told. "So, you want to tell me what the problem is?" I asked as I leaned against the van.

"If I go in there, they are just going to make me look girly again" he pouted.

Is that really his problem? "Why is that a bad thing?" I asked.

"I hate being treated like a girl! I just want to be recognized as a guy for once! Why can't anyone understand that?" he screamed.

"I guess I can understand." Even though I'm a girl, people still think I'm a guy.

        "Really Hyung?"

I couldn't help but chuckle a little "Who wouldn't like to be recognized as what they really are? Sometimes I wished I looked differently too."

        "Why? You look cool Hyung!"

"Thanks" I shrugged the comment off. I was used to being called a guy. "You look cool too."

"Only until they dress me up" he pouted again.

I placed a hand on his shoulder and said "I know you've probably have heard this before, but just remember that it's only a part of your job. It's not who you really are. Those who know the real you will understand that."

Sungjong POV

My heart started to race at his words. He really does understand me. I really wish that he was a part of our staff. I'd love to be able to hang out with him some more. "Thanks Hyung" was all I could shyly say.

"No problem!" he smiled. "Now let's get inside and get you ready for your schedule." He placed both his hands on my shoulders and pushed me along.

I probably would have shrugged the gesture off if it had been our manager, but with this Hyung I don't mind. He started to tell me some funny stories and we laughed and joked all the way to the dressing room.

I really wish that he could stay longer. I hope I get to see him again.
