*47* Khaotung's surprise for First

Khaotung had been very busy since the morning.  It was the first race weekend of the season and he knew he had to give it his all.  Especially since he was to be watched by his friends from the Institute of the Knights of Light, whom he invited and for whom he arranged tickets to the paddock.  He had already had two training sessions under his belt and this gave him some comparison as to where his new team was currently in relation to other teams.  To everyone's surprise, the first training session was won by the lowest competitor in the entire group, the charming Japanese, Yuki Tsunoda.  In second place was three-time world champion Max Verstappen, and third was Carlos Sainz, who took Khaotung's place at Scuderia Ferrari.  A very angry Lewis Hamilton only finished twelfth and Khaotung knew it wasn't over yet.

The second training session in Australia brought more surprises.  RedBull's No. 1 car, with which Verstappen was racing, unexpectedly suffered a breakdown and Max had to stop it on the track, prompting a red flag.  When the Dutch car was finally removed, the session resumed and this time Charles Leclerc won ahead of Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso.  Khaotung, to his great delight, took a very good fifth place, and his new team partner, Pierre Gasly, eighth.

That's why today was going to be extremely busy, but also interesting.

First accompanied Khao to his garage, took a seat between their team principal and Khaotung's race engineer, put on his headphones and watched the events unfold on the track with the others.

Gemini, Phuwin, Pond, Cooheart, Kaownah and NuNew had already arrived before the third practice session, but Fourth and P'Zee were only able to arrive for qualifying.

First hugged his little brother as if he hadn't seen him in months, not as if they had only seen him two weeks earlier.

“How's your boyfriend doing?”  NuNew asked, smiling at First.

“That's quite alright.  I don't want to say anything so as not to jinx it, but it looks like Tung finally got the car he deserves.  He was incredibly fast in the second training session and I hope he will be even better.”

“Is there a chance for a podium?”  Fourth asked in turn.

“I think there is always a chance.  But you know, it doesn't depend solely on Tung himself and the speed of his car.  Everything has to work perfectly: weather conditions, surface temperature, tire management, race strategy, timing of the pit stop, length of stay in the pit lane.  You know, a whole bunch of little things that add up to a bigger whole.”

“I see,” Phu smiled, although First knew perfectly well that Phuwin didn't understand much, but he wasn't angry with him for it.  On the contrary, he was glad to have met someone like him.  As he looked at the people around him, he felt lucky for the first time in his life.  He had a dear, charming little brother who always took care of him even though he was younger.  He had a wonderful, handsome, famous and rich boyfriend who always did everything to rebuild his confidence and self-esteem.  He had loyal, sometimes quite funny and goofy, but very sincere friends.  Most of all, he was in the garage of the Alpine team, to which his boyfriend belonged, and although a year earlier, if someone had told him that this would happen, he would have tapped his head and decided that this person was crazy, now he was  here, in the place that had always been his dream.

Fourth, who noticed his older brother's dreamy expression, tapped him on the shoulder and showed him something on his phone.  First saw a beautiful blonde singing her own song.  He knew her perfectly.  He was the one who sent the link to this song to his brother.  He had to admit quietly, secretly from the slightly too possessive and jealous Khao, of course, that he was a big fan of Bailey Spinn.  Before he met Khaotung, he often watched her POV on TikTok, and he came across her channel completely by accident when he was browsing "shorts" on YouTube out of boredom.

“I know you like her and that's why... I have a surprise for you”.

Fourth said and just at that moment a beautiful blonde with a body covered in tattoos entered the Alpine garage.  She was wearing makeup that perfectly matched her, a not too long red skirt with a black check pattern and a loose Alpine team blouse, identical to what First was wearing.

“Bailey here?!” First exclaimed excitedly, smiling broadly.  Phuwin recorded the entire scene on his phone with the intention of posting it on his Instagram story.  NuNew was also taking photos, Kaownah and Cooheart had disappeared, but it didn't matter to First.

“Yes, Bailey is scheduled to perform at the post-race concert, she's on the list right after NuNew.”

First covered his face with his hands, unable to believe his luck.  Not only was he in the garage during the Formula 1 race weekend, but he was also so close to the person who could make him laugh even in his worst moments, the darkest ones, when he couldn't laugh at all.  He often found himself laughing like crazy while watching her TikToks.  She made him like so-called POVs.

First felt a little scared when he realized that Bailey was clearly walking towards him.  With a quick, slightly nervous movement of his hand, he smoothed his hair, as if he was afraid that his bad appearance might make a bad impression on his idol.  Meanwhile, the young woman smiled kindly at him.  First was speechless.  The words got stuck in his throat, choked with emotion.  There was too much going on at once.  The last thing he saw before he passed out was her slightly concerned face.

When he woke up, he was sitting on a makeshift couch at the back of the garage in the space that usually belonged to an F1 driver.  Sitting next to him was Fourth, and in a nearby chair, Khaotung, still wearing his racing suit.

“Oh, you came back to life!” Khao joked when he saw First move.

“What happened?”

“You fainted.”

“I see.  But why?”

“I don't know, you tell me.  Just be honest with me: did you even eat breakfast?” Khaotung walked up to him, lifted his chin with his fingers and looked into his eyes.

“Er...?”

“So you didn't eat.  Silly, you have to eat breakfast, do you understand?” Khaotung tapped his boyfriend's forehead with his finger.  “I'm worried about you, you know that, right?  We have a long day ahead of us today, you must have a lot of strength.  Eat something.”

Khao left First and went to a small refrigerator, which he opened and in which First saw a whole stock of food.

“Oh, I see you literally have everything here.”

“Of course.  Eat something, I have to go back to talk to the boss.”

Khaotung was about to leave when First grabbed his hand.

“Wait, wait, because of all this I missed Q3.  How did it go?”

“I won't tell, see for yourself”. Khaotung stuck his tongue out at his boyfriend and ran away from the room.

“What's wrong with him?”  First scratched his head in confusion, raising one eyebrow.  He looked so funny that Fourth laughed.  “Come on?”

“Nooooo, nothing”.  Fourth replied, amused.

“Are you pissing me off again?”

“Me you?  My dear big brother, have I ever pissed you off?”

“Yes, even now, you're making fun of me.”

“I'm not making fun of you.”

“You're laughing!”

“I laugh TO you, not AT you”. The younger brother emphasized the difference.   “Now be a good big brother and set a good example for me by eating your breakfast nicely like your boyfriend asked you to do.”

First had to admit that he was having a great time teasing Fourth.  He knew one thing for sure: his little brother was his first and greatest happiness, and so was Khaotung.  That's why the twenty-six-year-old, who had previously suffered from depression and saw no point in continuing his life, now silently thanked Fourth for saving him that day.  Only now did he understand how much he would miss and lose if he succeeded.

“Thank you”. He whispered, unexpectedly taking Fourth into his arms and hugging him.

Just a year ago at this time, he was lying in bed in his room, lost in his sad, depressing thoughts and talking to Khaotung's photo, feeling lonely, rejected by everyone and unwanted.  And now, just a year later, everything has changed.  This boy, rejected by everyone and of no value to them, had infinite value in the eyes of a handsome racing driver.  In the eyes of this athlete, he was not a loser or a failure, he was a strong, funny, charming young man to whom he gave his whole heart without hesitation, leaving not even a crumb.  And he didn't regret it.  None of them regretted it.

This was sparked by one chance meeting in a supermarket, when Tung returned to his homeland and wanted to take a walk around the area.

* * *

The race, in which as many as 24 cars took part this year, started chaotically and remained so until the very end.  Already on the first lap, George Russell in his black Mercedes with the number 63 pushed Charles Leclerc in his red Ferrari with the number 16 off the track, causing the Ferrari car to stop across the road, which caused him to got hit with a speeding car driven by Liam Lawson at AlphaTauri.  Yuki Tsunoda in the second AlphaTauri behind them barely avoided a collision by veering to the right, which ended with him going off the track and falling into a gravel trap.

Kevin Magnussen, fighting for position against Lance Stroll, cut the rear left tire of Aston Martin's green car with his front wing.

The safety car entered the track several seconds later.  Some of the damaged vehicles went to the pit lane for the replacement of front wings and wheels.  Unexpectedly, Pierre Gasly and Khaotung Thanawat, the two drivers in the pink Alpine cars, found themselves in the lead.

At this sight, Annie, Didi, First, Gemini and Fourth began to applaud vigorously.

“Didi, Pierre is leading the race!”  Annie exclaimed excitedly, tugging on her friend's arm.

The safety car only came in on the fourth lap and the fight started again.  It was the beginning of the season and everyone wanted to win, everyone wanted to stand on the podium and show what they were capable of.  Everyone wanted to be the best.  Two laps later, the Alfa Romeo car number 99 suffered a power unit failure, driven by the Italian, Antonio Giovinazzi, who fortunately pulled over to the side of the road in such a place that there was no need to send a Safety Car to the track.  Yellow flags and a virtual safety car again temporarily froze the competition, which was resumed a lap later.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened for the next ten laps.  Pierre and Khaotung continued to lead, gradually increasing their advantage over Nico Hulkenberg, third, in Haas, and Fernando Alonso, fourth, in Aston Martin.

And then it was time for pit stops...

The guests in the Alpine garage watched the race in suspense.  Annie was almost biting her fingers with nerves.  This was the first F1 race in which Pierre was in the lead while she was in his garage.

Max Verstappen didn't enter the pit lane to change tires because, unlike his teammate, Mexican Serio Perez, nicknamed Checo, he was on hard tires from the beginning, and Checo was on medium tires.  Perez was fitted with a soft tire compound and the Mexican left the pit lane directly under the wheels of the second-speeding RedBull car number 1. Verstappen's car, boosted by the front wing of Perez's car, jumped, fell onto the track with a loud bang and rolled at great speed towards  tire barriers.

Max didn't fail to express his displeasure over the radio, calling Checo a blind fool.

“He didn't leave me any room!”   He complained to his race engineer before furiously throwing the steering wheel far out of the car.

Checo, with a damaged nose in his vehicle, had to go to the pits again.

The race was slowed down again and the safety car appeared on the track, and then the race management decided to show the red flag because the tire barrier damaged by Max had to be repaired.  During this break, Annie and Gemini decided to go and talk to Pierre, Didi went to Lando, and Fourth with First wanted to have a few words with Khaotung.  First told his boy what he should do to maintain that perfect second place.

* * *

The next minutes brought more and more strange decisions.

By a strange coincidence, the cars belonging to Alfa Romeo both stopped working at exactly the same moment.

Two hours later, this crazy race was finally over and the last unlapped car crossed the finish line.  When First looked at the final classification after the race (after adding a 10-second penalty for Sergio Perez), he was surprised to discover that only 11 cars out of 24 finished the race, a record low number, it has never been this bad in the last 10 years.  Only one driver failed to score a point and that was unluckily Daniel Ricciardo, the cheeriest, funniest Australian finishing his home race in 11th place. That was so unlucky that First felt really bad for Danny Ric.

As soon as all the cars had returned to the pit lane after the end of the race, First and Fourth witnessed an unusual scene.  Max was already waiting for someone where the F1 cars were parked.  Fourth immediately sensed the negative energy emanating from the entire figure of a certain very talented Dutchman.

“First, isn't that Verstappen?  Max Verstappen?”  Fourth pointed at a young man wearing light jeans, a RedBull T-shirt and an orange baseball cap, who had just approached RedBull's number 11 car.

“Shit, yes, it's Max.  We have to stop him.”

“Why?”

“Don't you see the demon behind his back?”

Fourth strained his eyes and after a while he saw the same thing as his older brother.  A dark gray figure resembling an eagle with the head of a man and the horns of a cow formed above the head of the Dutch Formula 1 driver.  The two brothers headed in that direction in unison, even though First's original plan was to personally congratulate Khaotung, Lando and Pierre for taking all the podium spots.  They didn't get very far before someone pushed past them, pushing and almost knocking First over.  The brothers looked closely and saw that they were their friends, two young witches from Poland, Didi and Annie.  Anna was easily identified by the long streak of pink hair between her dark brown, thick hair tied in a high ponytail.

“So they noticed it too.  Let's go!”  First ordered.

“Wait, where is Gemini?”

“What?”

“My boyfriend, my boyfriend disappeared somewhere”. Fourth desperately tried to find the distinctive silhouette of his beloved, which shouldn't be that difficult, because Gem was very tall.  His outfit may have made the task more difficult: Gemi was wearing an Alpine team jersey and an orange McLaren cap, which Carlos Sainz had pressed into his hands before the race, asking him to support his boy.  It was quite an unusual choice of outfit, but many people here were dressed similarly.

“Calm down, I didn't disappear anywhere, I just went to get something for Khaotung because he asked me for it earlier, I have to give it to him in a moment”. Gemini materialized next to Fourth as if out of nowhere and whispered these words straight into his ear.  “Just be quiet, don't say a word to First, it's supposed to be a surprise.”

Gemini put his finger to his lips in a significant gesture.  Fourth nodded.

“It's great that you're here, but now we have to go save Perez.”

“Why?  What happened?”

“Max Verstappen's body has been taken over by a demon, if we don't help him, both of them will have problems.  I think Annie and Didi are already there.”

“Okay, go ahead.”

Gemini and First, with Fourth in the lead, moved towards the parked cars near the podium.  The Frenchman placed his winning car in a specially designated place on boards that turned out to be displays showing Pierre, his name, starting number and fragments of the race performed by him.  David Coulthard was already preparing to interview the top three.  Max had already reached Checo Perez and grabbed him by the suit on his chest, lifting him up a little and pulling him towards him.  Max glared at Checo furiously.  When Fourth, First, Gemini, Annie, and Didi were close enough to clearly hear their teammates arguing, First became even more concerned.  How were they supposed to defeat the demon in the presence of not only several hundred people working on Formula 1 and the organization of this race, but also in the presence of many thousands of fans in the stands and probably many millions of viewers in front of TV sets around the world, while not informing about their identity?

First confided his doubts to the others.  But they didn't have time to come up with a plan.  First, they had to drag away Max, who was extremely nervous and shouted at the top of his lungs:

“What the hell was that?!  You wanted to kill me!”

First already knew what Max was referring to.  It was about a collision that both of them caused, which ended with Max's elimination from the race.

“I didn't want to kill anyone at all.  Who do you think i am?  Some fucking murderer?  I'm not you”.  Checo didn't owe him.  A silent rebellion had been brewing within him for months.  He felt that at RedBull he was always the second one, the less important one because no one cared about his opinion.  Checo believed it was unfair, he had already helped Max win three championship titles, he believed that their team bosses would see his commitment and would also give him an equal chance to experience the taste of winning the F1 Drivers' World Championship.  However, already in the first race of the entire season, he was made clear where his place was.  Checo couldn't stand it.  He had had enough.  Enough of just being the second one, enough of being the one who always has to help Max.  He wasn't anyone's servant and he wasn't going to allow himself to be treated like that.

“And who did I want to kill? May I know?” Verstappen laughed mockingly.

“Hamilton, for example.  What, why don't you tell me it's not true?  Everyone saw it with their own eyes when you deliberately ran into him!”

“It was two years ago!  You must be completely consumed with jealousy for spouting such nonsense!”  Max seemed even more upset.  “You were the one who wanted to kill me today, admit it!”

“I didn't want to.  You were the one who didn't want to let me pass, even though we had different strategies.  In case you hadn't noticed, you stupid idiot, I had soft tires and had just come out of the boxes, and you were driving calmly on your hard tires from the start like some kind of king of this track”.

“What, I'm not him?”

“I'm sorry, but... What?  King of the track? You?”

“Yes, unlike you, I know how to race.”

“What did you say?!”. Before anyone could react, Checo aimed a punch straight at Max's face.

“Perez!  This was your last race in my team, I will make sure of it!”  Max's father, Jos, joined the fight.

“And great!  I don't want to ride for this bunch of idiots anymore anyway!”

Checo took his helmet and HANS system and headed towards RedBull's garage, which was also his garage for the last time.  He felt the bitterness of defeat, but also a strange relief and satisfaction.  He finally found a way to legally leave this team that failed to meet his expectations.

Fourth also breathed some relief, but Gemini and Didi knew it wasn't over yet.  Didi was a very talented witch.  She nudged Fourth in the side and said.

“Max, we have to separate Max from the rest somehow.  We don't know how dangerous this demon is.”

“I'll take care of it”.  Suggested Lewis Hamilton, who also watched the whole event from behind them.  “Gemini, could you help me?  You know, in case Max doesn't want to listen to me and we have to incapacitate him.”

“Sure, Sir Lewis.”

“You don't need to call me sir, just call me Lewis, we're on the same side”.  Lewis smiled softly and together they walked over to Max, who was now trying to hit his own father for a change.  Gem and Lewis knew that it was not Max but the demon who was forcing him to do this.

“Lewis, take Mr. Verstappen” Gemini ordered him, not fully realizing that he had just taken command.  Gem just knew what he had to do.   “He will be bait for the demon.  Take him to the empty garage.  Me, Annie, Didi and Fourth will hold Max.  We'll see if the demon stays with us or follows you.  First, you go with Lewis.”

Everyone obeyed the orders without any objection.

Gem and Fourth took the steles out of their pockets.  Annie and Didi stood on either side of young Verstappen and grabbed his hands, holding him in place with magic.  Only magicians and hybrids could see the thin threads, shining with a bluish light, as if burning blue, that shot out from the girls' hands and wrapped around Verstappen's hands.  Lewis led Jos out of Max's sight.  It turned out that the demon actually followed Jos and Lewis, who had the strongest magical power among them, according to Gemini's predictions.  Apparently the monster was unable to sense hybrid magic, as it completely missed Fourth, Gemini, and Annie.

“Didi, Fourth, keep an eye on him”.  He gave another command to his boyfriend and his new friend, and he and Annie followed the retreating Lewis, Jos and the demon following them.  They stopped in the empty first garage, away from the Non-Magical's eyes.

“Jos, sit down,” Lewis asked gently, although he found it somewhat difficult.  It was no secret that he didn't like the elder Verstappen.  Jos, forced to do so by Hamilton's magic, sat down on the only chair which, strangely enough, was located there against the wall.

“What's going on?  What are you doing to me?”

“Nothing.  Gemini, you know what to do.”

And Gemini knew.  As the demon flew silently towards Hamilton, ready to attack him, the decorative pen with a tiny plush unicorn mascot with a colorful mane turned into a neat, handy dagger with a handle encrusted with rubies that emanated a delicate, warm glow.  The blade was made of a magical crystal, sparkling with colors in the penumbra of the garage.  Terrified Jos, who couldn't see the demon, thought the tall boy was trying to attack him.

“NOOOOOOOO!” He screamed at the top of his lungs, covering his face with his hands.

“Take it easy, Jos, no one wants to attack you”.  Said Lewis, and at the same moment Gemini, in one skillful, decisive movement with a quiet hiss of cutting through the air, plunged the blade up to the hilt into the ghostly body of the monster, which howled so horribly that Lewis covered his ears with his hands and  he crouched down.  They felt an odor reminiscent of rotten eggs, then everything disappeared, and not even a trace of the demon remained.

“We need to erase his memory”.  Gemini said, looking at Jos Verstappen, who was making strange faces and looking at them as if they were madmen who wanted to murder him.

“Yes, I think it's a good idea.  I'll take care of it, and you go to Khaotung, I believe you were supposed to bring him something?”

“Oh, yes, that's right.  I'm on my way!  Thanks!”

Gemini ran out of the garage.  David had just finished interviewing Khaotung.  Gem pushed past the McLaren team mechanics who crowded around him to congratulate their driver on the podium.

“Here, just hide properly”.  He said, pushing Khaotung a small box that he took out of his pocket.

“Thanks.”

“Good luck!”

Gemini returned to his seat, informing the others that the demon had been defeated.  Khaotung didn't even know this was happening.  First rubbed his slightly tired eyes with his hands.  He was happy for his boyfriend's success, but it was hard to hide the fact that he was a little sleepy.  Annie, who loved to capture such moments in photos and videos, also snapped a photo of First just as Kanaphan raised his hand to cover his mouth and hide a huge yawn.

Khaotung found First easily.  He grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the podium.

“Tung?  What's going on?”

“Nothing's going to happen, you'll just collect the constructors' prize for today's race”.  Khao informed him with a mysterious smile on his face.  Khaotung had thought out the whole plan perfectly.  He knew this was how it was supposed to be.  He had been slowly getting his fans used to the idea that he had a boyfriend for months, and now that his teammate had won the race and he was in second place, could there have been a better time?  Khaotung touched his cap with his hand, under which there was a small red box on his head, which Gemini had brought him a moment earlier.  This was their shared plan, one they were both extremely proud of.

Finally it was time for the awards ceremony.  All three of the best drivers of the day stood on the appropriate steps of the podium, and next to them stood First Kanaphan, who couldn't believe in his luck.  Two hymns were heard.  It was time to pour champagne and that's when something happened that First couldn't have predicted in his wildest dreams.  None of the drivers grabbed a bottle of champagne.  Lando and Pierre remained in their places while Khaotung walked up to First, took out a red box from under his hat and knelt down on one knee in front of First, who was surprised and moved to the extreme.

“First, we have known each other for quite a long time, we have been through a lot together and I want you to know that you are my greatest treasure, my best motivation to become better every day.  You made me love Formula 1 again and today I only have one question for you.  I will understand if you refuse, but I would prefer if you agreed.  First, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want you to always be in my garage cheering me on and supporting me when my races are not as I would like them to be.  Forgive me for this somewhat long speech, but I want us both to remember this moment forever.  Will you do me the honor of becoming my husband?”

Khaotung opened the box.

Camera operators ran over to film everything carefully.  One of them zoomed in on Khaotung's face, full of tension, expectation and uncertainty, the second filmed the Alpine team driver's hands shaking with emotion, the third lens was directed towards First, and someone else recorded the reactions of the fans and mechanics around.  There was silence around them.  Pierre stood next to Khaotung with a microphone in his hand, ensuring that every word he spoke was heard clearly by everyone, including the TV viewers.

Khao held his breath, looking expectantly at his boyfriend.

And First clearly had a great time tormenting Khao and keeping him in suspense.  Eventually, however, he couldn't hold back his sincere smile any longer.  He approached Khaotung, cupped his face with both hands and responded to him, looking at him with love and devotion.

“Of course I will be your husband.  Would you have expected any other answer?”

Khaotung, hearing this, grabbed him in his arms and with him in his arms began to rotate around his axis.  His world exploded with color and happiness.  People started applauding.  Pierre put down the microphone and he and Lando just now grabbed champagne and started pouring the groom and groom as they hugged each other.

David Coulthard's voice echoed around the Melbourne racetrack.

“What an amazing twist!  Ladies and gentlemen, I don't think anyone expected this!  There has never been such a podium celebration before.  This is certainly a historic moment.”

Gemini and Annie shook hands.

“Good job, Gemi”.  The Polish woman smiled cheerfully.

“Thanks for giving me the idea”.  Gemini also smiled back.  He was much taller than both Polish women and Annie had the impression that this young and handsome Thai man was clearly looking down on her.  Didi said something to her in a language Gem didn't understand and Gem saw the older girl's sour face.

“What is it about?”

“No, nothing”.. Or it was just his imagination, or there was a note of disappointment in the girl's voice.

“Definitely?”

“Yes, yes, Gemi.  I just wish my girlfriend was here with me, she definitely wouldn't want to miss a show like this.”

“Your girlfriend will definitely watch it on TV”.  Gemini consoled her.

Fourth, seeing that Gem had placed a hand on the Polish woman's shoulder in a comforting gesture, coughed significantly, tilting his head to the side and making a crooked face.

“Oh, someone must be jealous!”  Didi stuck her tongue out at Fourth.

“Who is jealous?” Nattawat asked.

“You,” Gemini tapped his finger on Fourth's chest, near his heart.

“Okay, okay, maybe a little.  After all, you're my boyfriend, aren't you?”

“Yes, I am yours and no one else's, don't worry”.

“Cute”.  Didi commented.

Annie couldn't help herself and recorded the entire adorable scene on her phone, posting it on Instagram and tagging them all.

Meanwhile, Khaotung, First, Lando and Pierre had already left the podium and Khaotung led First to them, holding his hand.

“Congratulations, little brother!”  Fourth exclaimed, hugging his older brother.

“Thanks.  You can't even imagine how happy I am!”

The people around them slowly dispersed.  The mechanics had to pack everything, load the cars into trucks, and assemble their stations in the pit lane.  David Coulthard got hold of Pierre Gasly and started asking him on camera whether he knew about Khaotung's plan.  Pierre had to admit that he knew about it from the beginning and that the idea was given to them by his two friends from Poland.  He didn't reveal a single word that the girls were sorceresses.  David was a Non-Magical, he had no idea that their strange world existed so close, and there was no point in trying to explain it to him.

Lando drowned in the embrace of Carlos, who was crying with pride, and he hadn't even had time to change his clothes yet.  Lewis continued to calm down Max, who was shaking after the demon attack.  Sergio had long since disappeared from the paddock, running away from what was bothering him so much.  It was a truly eventful weekend, and it's not over yet.
