Flashback

"Manik your home is so Beautiful." Nandini said, looking around excitedly. Manik smiling and standing behind her. 

"It's small and compact,so sweet and beautiful." Nandini said leaning on the balcony. Manik stood beside her.

He brought her to a small old apartment of Cabir. Suddenly one day Nandini asked about his home and family, he didn't know what to say.

He lied all about his family, his mother is a housewife and father working as a labourer in foreign.

So on Manik's birthday today, ignoring all parties in his mansion, he came here with Nandini.

"You like it?" Manik said Nandini nodded smiling.

"Manik, I brought you something. I don't know if you like it." Nandini nervously took a small box from her bag and forwards to manik.

Manik smiled and opened it to see a normal second hand watch, "You said right you love watches so much, in my little money I got this only. Sorry next time I will give a big."

Manik felt guilty as he had one row full of expensive watches. He hugged Nandini tightly, controlling his tears.

"Thanks so much baby. I love it." Manik in a go kissed her cheek which startled her. She smiled nervously and looking at him.

"Nandu, I want to say something to you." Manik said, rubbing his hands over his Jean. Nandini frowned and asked "What?"

Manik went behind her and closed her eyes with his hands, "Just come with me." Nandini said ok.

He slowly made her walk to the bedroom, and opened her eyes.

Nandini was surprised and shocked to see the decoration. Room was fully filled with balloons, candles, ‘I love You’ balloons were at bed, cake in front of it.

"Ma..Manik what is this?" Nandini asked him shockingly.

"I know it's a shock, but it's true nandu." Manik said, rubbing his nape nervously. 

"I am in love with you Nandu, the day I saw you in the cafe. I never felt it, as in I felt love for any girls till now. You were different in everything. My heart said you are the girl for me. I love you Nandini." Manik said kneel down and raised his hand for her, but  Nandini cried and step back which made Manik frown.

Nandini nodded no and said "No..no I can't..Manik..I am sorry." Saying this she run out

"Nandini.. Nandini." Manik shouted and ran behind her. She ran fast and caught the auto and drive away. Manik saw she went, he ran to his car and followed the auto. 

"What happened nandu? Why did you run away?" Manik thought to himself and drove fast.

"I am sorry Manik, I never thought you would say this. I thought I only loved you but you too. But we can't be together, can't we?" Nandini palm her face and cried.

Soon the auto reached her house. She paid and got down, behind which Manik stopped the car and ran to her.

"Nandiniiiiii stop." Manik pulled her into him, Nandini try to removed but can't.

"Manik..leave me.." Nandini said, struggling and looking around if anyone saw. 

"I won't unless you answer. I just talked about my feelings. You should have said something. I know you love me baby." He said cupping her face made Nandini cry more.

"No..no Manik I didn't love you. Actually I thought of you as a friend only but now at this moment that too is not there." Nandini said strictly which broke Manik, he broke for a second time, after his mother's death.

"Baby no..i know you love me. I can feel it, don't lie." Manik asked like a kid, he was in fear of losing her, just like his mother.

"Manik leave me....leave.." Nandini struggles, making Manik lose his control.

"Stop struggling and answer me dammit." Manik shouted.

"I can't lose you Manik," Nandini shouted and cried, making Manik frown in confusion.

"I am cursed, if someone is with me they will die, just like my parents. I don't want you to die Manik..please leave me....I will die.. it might..."Nandini cried looking at him.

Manik gritted his teeth and slapped her, which shocked Nandini"Are you mad or what? I am not sorry for this slap, because you deserve it for your stupidity. I think your parents might have done the same for talking like this. Die? If you die you think your parents might be happy seeing you from up. They might feel guilty, leaving their daughter in this condition. You should prove to them and all, you are not a curse but an angel making others live by you. You should live a life like that." 

Nandini stood looking down, hearing him, in tears. Manik sighed, run his hands his face to hair.

He pulled her into him and held tightly close to us heart, "I am sorry. It may be less time but I love you, so much. I thought my life will be better if you step in. Take your time, I won't force you. I will wait till my death.". Manik said and kissing her forehead, sealing a promise, Nandini closed her eyes feeling the moment.

Manik left without turning back, taking his car leaving a crying Nandini behind. She walked inside her home thinking about it but was welcomed by a slap, making her lose balance.

Nandini looked up to see her Chachi standing angrily, she pulled Nandini by hair and shouted, "warming someone's bed you slut? Who is he? Haan what are you doing with him in the middle of the road? Don't you feel ashamed? You...." And started beating her for which  Nandini screamed to core

One week went by, no call from Nandini making Manik restless. Manik after coming from there got full information of Nandini past, her parents die in accident and her aunty  taking care of her. Don't know why, she left her studies and worked in a cafe.

"Manik relax, she will call once she understand all." Mukthi said seeing Manik walking to and fro of his cabinet.

"I am just scared now, Mukthi. Her words, her condition still in my mind, I don't want her to do anything stupid." Manik said scaredly.

His friends were shocked, the one who didn't even care for others except them and his mother now caring for a girl. A monster is scared is an irony.

"Manik...You do one thing...call her..." Cabir words cut by Manik phone rings. He took and see landline numbers.

He frowned and ignored it first. But it again rang.

He answered it and said "hello......What....Nandu don't worry..I am coming..baby Coming." Fab4 was shocked seeing him shouting.

"Manik what happened?" Dhruv asked  seeing Manik running out.

They run behind him.

"Manik what happened? Say to us?" Cabir shouted.

"Nandini is in danger. I will come." Manik said angrily and ran to the car, driving at full speed, leaving friends behind.

Manik reached Nandini house and ran Inside, welcomed by silence. No one was there, full dark, no lights and all. He saw Nandini slaw which he wore that day near a couch.

He took it to see blood stains, which shocked him.

"Nandiniiiiii.. Nandini where are you!" He shouted and searched full house, kitchen, hall, two room and went up to see in her room, but no one was there. 

He palm his face and cried, "Nandini where are you Jaan?" He murmured, held his tears. Suddenly he heard a loud sound from down, a sound.

"Nandini." He ran back side of the house to see the basement door, it was locked. But Manik broke it with a gun he has with him always and ran inside to see semi unconscious Nandini laying down in blood, mess up the condition which broke Manik.

He ran, and took her into his lap, "Jaan..open your eyes.. Nandu." He patted her cheek, but Nandini's breath became unstable, can't speak.

"Ma..Ma." Manik notice blood in his hands, lift her in his arms and run outside. He kept her in the backseat and drove to the hospital.

Same fear, same anxiety is back to him. How he saw his mother in age of five, same feeling coming back. But now he won't do the same mistake.

He will save Nandini, he will for sure.

He called cabir and said all, he reached the hospital, picked up with Nandini and ran inside. 

"Manik left side." Dhruv came running, both kept her in stretcher and took her into the operations theatre, doctor and nurse walked in.

"Please save her." Manik said to the doctor who nodded and walked in. Manik sat on a chair holding his head.

Fab4 stood near him, "Manik don't worry Nothing will happen to her." Mukthi patted his shoulder.

He nodded and said "She has be fine, for me. She has too." Fab4 nodded

"Guys, find her Chachi soon." Manik orders in a dangerous tone.
