I watched as my mom packed her clothes and talked to my dad about the upcoming hearing we were going to, it was now November, a couple days before thanksgiving and we were about to leave to drive back to Utah from where we currently were, Arizona.

I got bored of the conversation and got up, walking down the stairs and into the kitchen, looking in the fridge with a sigh, let's admit, we've all looked in the fridge when we were bored ok?

I decided to go for a walk so I called my dog, Mister, who is a lemon beagle, and I hooked him up on his leash. "Mom, Dad, I'm taking Mister for a walk!" I hollered, before stepping out the door, there was mainly annoying teenage boys in my neighborhood, all of which would constantly bug me or tease me so I avoided them at all costs.

I walked down the sidewalk in silence as I thought about this, the last few weeks have been usual, as if this wasn't happening, sometimes it'd come up in conversation but now it was finally calm.

i never liked Arizona, the heat, scorpions, memories, and just the whole look to it didn't appeal to me, I liked Utah, because it's so gorgeous and there's always something to do, even in the summer, here it's just... try not to become a baked potato.

after a while we reached the park and I sat down with Mister in the shade, laying down in the grass and staring up at the leaves in the tree I was under, mister sniffed around before padding over and laying down next to me, his head on my chest.

My life had gone from me being ungrateful and selfish, along with practically rich.. to broke and having to savor every day, not knowing what tomorrow would bring. I closed my eyes and started to drift off but I heard someone clear their throat. I recognized that voice, I smiled and opened my eyes, my friend Kendle looked down at me with a smile, she didn't know what was going on, only family did.

"Hey Kendle." I smiled, sitting up as she sat cross legged next to me. "Heyyyy" she drawled out as she watched a boy walk by.

yes, Kendle is one of those girls who is obsessed with boys, me being me I'm not really obsessed with much but art and horses, sure there are some humans where you have to admit they're gorgeous but that kid wasn't even one of those humans, he looked like he was miserable too.

most people should be in Arizona.
