Author's POV

The bell rang indicating the recess. All the hallways were filled with children rushing to the cafeteria or washroom. They were keen for meeting their friends after long time.

‘Finally I will be away from him for some time’ Taehyung thought as he was taking his lunch box out from his bag.

“You still bring homemade lunch, baby?” the ravenette sitting beside him asked. “Do you have have a problem with that ” Taehyung said and rolled his eyes. Kookie chuckled and replied a “Nope” while stretching his arms as he was tired of sleeping all the time.

Taehyung didn't said anything and walked towards the classroom door. The classroom was almost empty only Tae and kookie were there.

Suddenly Tae stopped. He turned towards the ravenette and angrily said.

“And one more thing don't call me baby. It disgusts me”

As the older male walked away, Jungkook was left alone in the classroom. He stared at the door for few moments and mumbled “You have changed a lot taetae ” and let out a bitter chuckle.

Suddenly the door banged open revealing Sooyeon who had her lunchbox in her one hand and mobile in another.

She was on a phone call with someone. “YAS! He is inside the classroom, I won the bet sleepy ass ” she exclaimed.

“What are you doing here Soo? ” kookie asked.

“Yoongi oppa called me and we were talking and were assuming where you could be” she replied while walking towards the his bench and cutting the call.

“And what was the bet that you were talking about? ” kookie asked. “Oh! He said you must be in the cafeteria or basketball room and I said you may have been in the classroom itself. ”

“He was very confident on his knowledge about your whereabouts so I suggested to make a bet and he agreed ” she continued while smiling widely before saying

“But you were in the class so I won and now I could make him do anything I want for a whole one day” she concluded.

“Woah! You guys are impossible ” the younger male said and chuckled.

He might be tired of of his friends' bickering or weird habits but he was never ashamed of them. He loved both of his friends more than he love himself after all his friends stayed with him at the time where he needed them the most. They never asked the reason, they never asked anything in return, they never complained about it and they never left him.

They just supported him everytime, Jungkook asked. For Jungkook they were not less than any blessing.

“Hey Jungkook~~ can you snap out from your lalaland~?” Sooyeon sang in his ears. Kookie snapped out from his thoughts and rolled his eyes.

“Aren't you going to eat your lunch?” Sooyeon asked “Nope I am not in a mood ” he replied. “Just clearly say you forgot to bring lunch and money both with you”. She stated . “Well yeah but that's not the main problem”
I reasoned.

“Huh as if I am going to believe that.” She sassed.

I stood up and started to walk away ignoring the calls from the older female.

At cafeteria

Two boys were sitting at the most corner table to avoid all noise coming from the continous chattering of other students

“So Taetae, how did your day went? ” Jimin asked happily munching on his sandwich.

“Can't get more worse” Tae replied and heaved a heavy sigh. “Let me guess it's because of Jungkook right? ” Jimin enquired.

“Yes, anyways how did your day went? ” Tae asked “Can't get more better ” Jimin said while smiling widely shaking his legs excitedly.

“First, my class teacher changed, for that I am really thankful because now no longer I have to bear that grumpy old lady, second and the best— today that cat like human was absent ” Jimin rambled.

“At least someone is having fun on the first day of school” Tae said. “Btw where is Hobi Hyung? ” he asked as he couldn't find the older male.

“Oh he is busy with the work of dance club so he won't be eating with us ” Jimin answered “Being a club president is so hard ” I mumbled.

Then suddenly Taehyung thought of something “Hey Jimin! Isn't Hobi Hyung's biggest crush, Lee Sooyeon in the same club? ” I asked.

“Right! And plus she is the vice president of the club, so do you thinking the same as me” he asked with a mischievous smile

“Of course I am thinking the same, soul mate ” I replied with the same expression as Jimin.
