Author's POV

Taehyung explained everything, from his mother getting to know about everything to how did he ended up in the park.

Once he finished narrating it, he felt Jin hugging him gently and putting his head on his shoulder. "I will not listen to you this time, I can't let you go back and live with that insensitive woman! Never! It's not safe Tae. I'm not going to let you stay anywhere else but in my house. " Jin spoke.

Taehyung didn't had the energy to say anything so he just nodded.

This time he himself didn't wanted to go back to that hell again. He wants to stay with his hyung in a place where he would be loved, adored and safe, moreover his hyung didn't seem to have any problems with his relationship with Jungkook.

"That's a relief but what about his things " Yoongi asked to which Namjoon replied "We'll find some way to bring them "

"What happened to that Saerim problem? " Namjoon asked. "Don't worry hyung, Sooyeon just messaged that she took care of that and will be coming here soon " Hoseok replied.
They all sat in silence which was neither comforting nor awkward, it was just silence, an empty one.

Seokjin's phone rang loudly shattering the silence around.

He looked at the caller ID and his eyes widened with surprise. "Dad? " he uttered taking everyone's attention. "Never in the last two years he has once messaged me and now all of a sudden he's calling me? " he said in confusion. "Pick the call and put it on speaker " Namjoon instructed.

Jin did as he was told to and spoke "Hello? "

The four of them—Seokjin, Namjoon, Taehyung and Jungkook—stood in front of a house which read "Kim's residence "

Jin never thought he'd return to this hell ever again but he was wrong. Apparently Jin's father said that he wants Tae and Seokjin to come there. Jin obviously refused it but when his father said that he swears that he just want to talk about something to both of them and they can bring the others too if they want to, Namjoon suggested that they should once go and see what the matter is.

Jin shut his eyes closed and took a deep breath. He was still disturbed by all the memories of this house and still have a trauma even after two years of being away.

He felt a little squeeze on his hands. It was Namjoon, he looked at Jin with a soft gaze and gave him a small smile of assurance. It was what helped Jin to overcome from his trauma for a while.

While Tae was almost trembling at the thought of going inside.

“Don't worry hyung, I am there and I won't let anything happen to you. ” Jungkook said and back hugged him.

They rang the bell and the door got opened almost immediately.

“Thank you for listening to my request Seokjin-ah ” Tae's father said before moving aside to let them in.
“Taehyung! Seokjin! ” their mother who was previously sitting on a couch nearby, exclaimed.

“You both really came here after all the things I have done to you, you both still came here. Thank you so so much. ” she said.

“Why did you call us here? ” Seokjin asked in his supposed-to-be cold voice.

“I'll tell you, come sit here ” she said and motioned towards the couch. The four of them followed. Her voice was shaky which was very unusual, it was like she has been crying for very long and her cheeks were also tear-stained.

“Jin, Tae, I know I have been very strict to you both since your birth. Been forcing you to be more ‘manly ’ criticising your choices as ‘girly ’ always wanted you both to be perfect in studies and sports and the worst ” she paused.

“Behaving like a monster with both of you only because you liked boys. ” she said.

“But believe me, I know it's hard to, but please trust me, there was a reason behind my behaviour. I am not trying to justify my actions, I know I shouldn't have done all that no matter for what reason. But I want you both to at least know about it. ” she continued.

“What is that?” Tae asked

His mother sighed before speaking “I had brother, not a cousin but sibling whom I used to adore. We both were partners in crime and and the only real family to each other. ” Tae felt this was the same situation with him and Jin. “My father was a very conservative man who only cared about money and reputation. Never once did he asked what we wanted. We both despised him and promised each other to never become like him.” she continued. “When I was twenty and he was twenty-five, h-he was killed......by our own father ” All four of them looked up with wide eyes. “But why? ” Seokjin asked astonished. “Only because he liked boys and had a boyfriend and refused to marry any girl that father showed him. According to him he was a disgrace to our family and should be removed. He thought boys were meant to be strong, smart, violent, insensitive and should marry a woman and continue the family line. And any boy who refuse to do so is a weight on earth and deserved to die.”

“That's why I always was hard on you both so shape into a perfect ‘man ’ and don't face your grandfather's wrath. ” she said.

“But while doing so I didn't realised that how much harm I'm causing to you. I even broke the promise made with my brother. I-I myself be-became l-ike him... ” she trailed off and started crying.

Jin and Tae rushed to her to calm her down.

“I think we should give them some time alone.” Tae's father suggested.

Namjoon and Jungkook nodded and left the room with Tae's Mr Kim.

3-4 more chapters and then this story would end. I'll probably do some epilogue or special chapters but I don't think I'll do more than 4 chaps.
