Author's POV

“Sooooyaa~~ are you done yet? ”  Hobi asked for the nth time in that hour.

“Just five more minutes ” she replied looking over from her piles of textbooks lying on her study table. “You have been saying that for the last thirty minutes. C'mon, I'm here to spend some quality time with my girlfriend but seems like she is already spending time with her precious maths textbook ” he complained. It was true, Hoseok decided to pay Sooyeon a visit and spend some time with her so he decided to visit her house on a sunny Friday but was met by a worried and tensed Sooyeon buried under a pile of her school textbook, her hair looked like a mess, tied in a messy bun with a pen stuck in the middle of it. She was wearing a old and faded T-shirt and shorts.

She was preparing for her entrance test to one of her dream university.

And so Hobi decided to wait for a while.

“Yah Sooya! It's not good keeping that poor boy waiting like. Can't you see how much he loves and cares for you? You are so lucky to have such a good boyfriend and you're busy doing maths ” Mrs Lee who suddenly entered the room scolded.

Sooyeon rolled her eyes and answered “If I won't be studying then you'll be the one who'll scold me for getting distracted so you only tell what shall I do? ”

“Well I think you shall exempted from study, this once. I allow you and Hobi to have some quality time together especially since once you both will be collage you won't get much time for it.” she said collected some dirty clothes lying on the floor near the bed and left the room.

“Ma'am knows about us ” Hoseok asked shocked.

“First, you don't need to call her ma'am when you're here, Aunty or Mrs Lee would do. And second, yes I told her the moment I got time when I came back home. ” she explained. “She doesn't have any, y'know problems with it? ” Hobi asked. “Obviously no, did she looked like she had any problems? In fact she was excited than me when she came to know about. She even said that she feared that hee daughter might die single because of her high standards but finally she found someone perfect for her. ” she said, smiling to herself remembering how her mother let out a high pitched squeal and danced like a crazy woman.

“Wow! Didn't thought she was an easy going woman ” Hoseok commented.

“She only cares about my marks. If I have marks upto her expectations then I can do whatever I like. Of course there are some limitations but dating someone isn't a problem for her since I was thirteen ” she informed and packed her things.

She was in middle of putting the pen that she used to tie her hair, in her pencil pouch when two phones rang at the same.

It was Jungkook who was calling her and Jimin who was calling Hobi.

The couple glanced at the caller ID and then at each other, both expecting some gut feeling which screamed “something bad has happened ”

The both accepted their calls and quietly uttered “Hello? ”

Hoseok hurried to start his motorcycle, grabbing one helmet and putting it on and giving the second one to Sooyeon.

After the calls, where Jimin informed that Taehyung has gone missing and no one knows where he, in a a voice which seemed like he might break into tears anytime.

And one where Jungkook's sobbing voice asked Sooyeon for help to find Taehyung, both immediately left for the cafe where the other are waiting for them.

Once they both entered the cafe, they were met by a sobbing Jungkook surrounded by Yoongi, who was trying to comfort him and Jimin who himself looked like he could cry anytime.

“Kook! ” Sooyeon exclaimed and rushed towards him.

“What exactly happened? ” Hoseok inquired, and started rubbing Jimin's back gently.

“It was a while back when Tae's father called me to ask whether Tae was with me and when I replied no he informed that there was an argument between him and his mother after which he left the house and hasn't shown up yet. He isn't answering his calls nor is he at Seokjin hyung's place. I immediately informed Jungkook about it but he also doesn't have any idea where he could be ” Jimin explained.

“We looked at every place we thought he could be but-but hy-yung was nowhere to be found.....” Jungkook added, sniffling.

“But what kind of argument did they had? ” asked Hoseok.

“We don't know. All we is that it was quite heated which made Taehyung leave his house without a second thought. ” Yoongi spoke for the first time since they arrived.

“Could it be..” Sooyeon said looking at the others with a scared look in her eyes

“What are you suggesting it could be?” Jimin asked. “Could she--I mean Tae's mother, y'know ---- maybe f-found out everything about...him and Jungkook--- all over again? ” she stammered.

“No way! We did our best to keep it a secret. I didn't even told anyone except you four, not even my mum! How could she find out about us? ” Jungkook spoke.

“I know how she found out about it ” another familiar voice spoke, they all looked to see who it was.

“And I have the proof with me too ” Bogum added.

But before anyone could say anything, Jungkook lost it and grabbed the older by his collar. “It's you isn't it? Who told his mom about us, right? ” he accused to which the latter just rolled his eyes. Jungkook was about to hit him when Sooyeon stopped him.

“KOOK WAIT! ” she commanded and came between them.

She pulled Jungkook away from him and spoke “Maybe this useless guy could come to some use ”

“Excuse me! I am still standing here. Insulting me like I'm not even present here ” Bogum complained. “Shut up ” Sooyeon commanded. “Kookie you go sit here, calm down and let us all see first if he could help us anyway. ” she pleaded. Jungkook nodded and went to take a seat.

“Tell us everything you know about this matter and do not leave out anything. ” Yoongi said.

“The one who told Tae's mother about you both is none other than your--” he paused and pointed at Hobi “--sister, Jung Saerim. ”

“What?! ” Hobi exclaimed.

“Yes. Yesterday, I was doing shopping when I saw Tae's mother talking to a certain blonde girl, and when I saw closely it was Saerim. Apparently she was showing something to her and when I went closer, I heard Saerim telling about you two. She even spied on you both a couple of times and secretly took your photos also which she used as her “evidence ” when Mrs Kim left I went to confront her about it and that shameless bitch didn't even tried to deny it. Instead argued back by saying “I love Jungkook very much and can do anything to make him mine, but if he can't be mine then I won't let him be anyone else's too. ” and left from there. ” he explained

“You were talking about some proof, what is it? ” Sooyeon asked.

“Yeah, it's a recording of our conversation, hear it if you don't believe me ” he said forwarding his mobile to them.

After listening to the recording it was confirmed that Bogum was right.

“When I heard that Tae is missing, I wanted to help you all in every way I can and this is the least I can do for. I'll be taking my leave then, please let me know if I can help in any other way, okay? ” Bogum said.

Before leaving he went to where Jungkook was seated and put his hand on his shoulder. “I may hate you a lot but that doesn't change the fact that you're the reason behind Tae's happiness and no way I could ever snatch it. ” he promised and turned around to leave.

“I still can't believe th-that Sae did it, I am sorry Jungkook. I am so so sorry” Hobi apologised

“Hobi hyung, it's not your fault ”

“Jungkook is right Hoseok. It's not your fault that Saerim could do something like this. But as much as I hate to tell you but we need to do something of her. We can't just let her get away easily ” Yoongi pointed out.

“Guys, I have a plan. You four go and search each and every place where Tae could be. Contact Jin and Namjoon oppa too they might help a lot. While I, go to Saerim and have a little talk with her ” Sooyeon suggested. “You sure, you can handle this alone, or shall I come with you ” Hoseok asked. “Don't worry about her Hoseokshhi, she'll manage it in the best way possible. We shall hurry and go. ” Yoongi assured.

And they all left to Taehyung.
