Author's POV
Present time

“YOU DID WHAT??” Jin exclaimed almost choking on his ramen.

“Relax hyung, it was just a kiss not something more than that ” Taehyung tried to calm his hyung down.

“But still Taehyung, you were only 17 and that Jungkook was only 16 ” Jin said still angry on the fact that his baby brother has already had his first kiss.

“Anyways what happened next? ” he asked quiet intrigued by the story.

“After we left for home...”

Flashback

After dropping Jungkook home, safely, Taehyung himself left for home in a cab.

Once he reached his house, he paid the driver went to the front door. He expected his house's lights to shut off but to his surprise they were still on. He was about to open the door when he heard some screaming and yelling.

Now he was scared.

He gulped and hesitantly opened the door.

What awaited for him was a horrible and heart breaking view.

His Jin hyung lying down on the, helpless. His once handsome face was now decorated with bruises and cut mark. He was barely keeping himself conscious. His white shirt was now painted in the colour red and almost torn.

He then saw his mother standing near his Hyung, with a disgusted and furious expression and a....leather belt?

‘Wait is mom behind Jin hyung's condition but why? ’ he thought to himself.

“Taehyung you are back? ” his father said when he spotted him.

That made both Jin hyung and his mom to turn to his side.

“J-j-jin hyu-ung, m-mot-ther what happened-d ” he stuttered. “Nothing Taehyung, you go back to your room ” his father commanded. “B-but—” “To your room! ” he said more sternly.

Though Taehyung wasted no time in going to his room, he still kept his ears at the door so he could hear what was happening. But to dismay, he could only hear his Jin hyung's helpless screams and his mother yelling things like, “You disgusting child ” or “I wish you were never born ”

As night descended, he heard his parents dragging his Hyung to the store room and locking it and going back to sleep.

Just as Tae assured that it was now safe to come out of the room, he went out, founded the key and gently unlocked the store room. He could see and hear his parents being soundly asleep. ‘Seriously how could they even sleep after witnessing such scenario ’ he thought. Finally the door opened with a small click and Tae rushed inside. He then saw Jin's both hands were tied to the old or what Taehyung liked to call it 'ancient', bed using an ancient rope. ‘Why do they keep so much old trash ’ he thought.

He then approached his hyung, as gently as he can. “Jin hyung ” he said softly.

Jin whipped his head towards Tae. “Taebear ” he uttered.

“Jin hyung, what happened? ” he asked kneeling down to come face to face with Jin.

“She-she now knows-s a-about me and Joonie-e ” he stuttered

Fear ran down Taehyung's spine.

He didn't thought that his and Jin's biggest secret was now enclosed their mother.

His hyung has been dating a man named Kim Namjoon since middle school. They both are madly in love with each other. Taehyung knew about about them since then but the biggest problem was that both his parents are homophobic.

His mom has always thought them 'how to behave manly', she has always told them that ‘you are men and should behave like one. You both should indulge yourself in sports like football, cricket etc. You both should be tough and not crybaby like girls ’ were the things said by her.

But Jin was rebelious from start. Tae remember the time when both of them were prohibited to even glance at the colour pink but Jin attended a family gathering wearing a pink crop top and white skinny jeans or the time when his mom has strictly told him to enroll for the sports club but he insisted enrolled for the cooking club. Because of his rebelliousness he have been beaten up by them a lot too but this time it exceeded the limits as he has broken the most important rule.

“But how did they came to know? ” Tae wishpered.

“She heard me talking to him on the phone and then checked it and saw our chats and pics ” Jin explained, he was now able to talk a bit properly.

“Then she asked me what all those were, I first tried to lie but I was tired of lying to them about everything, about my true self so I said the truth. I thought she would beat me like they did in the past but she burned down my phone, my belongings, half of my room, my hands and even tried to burn my face since according to them it was too feminine for a man but thankfully father stopped her. ” Jin explained in a broken voice.

“But he wasn't able to stop her from torturing me by leather belts, by pulling my hair and beating me like I was an animal ” Jin added, he was now on the verge of tears.

Taehyung wasted no minute in pulling his hyung in a hug and patting his back to calm him down.

“They both even threatened me to leave and forget Joon, b-but, I c-can't, I can't l-leave-e him, I-I won't be-e able to liv-e without him ” Jin stuttered, voice muffled and tears running down his face.

“T-Taehyung bring me your p-phone f-fast” Jin suddenly commanded.

Taehyung did what he told to and gave it to jin. Jin hastily dialed a number but before he could call it he stopped himself.

“I can't call Joonie ” he said “But why?” asked Taehyung.

“Right now he is doing his internship in one of the Korea's biggest company, it's his dream and I can't bring myself to break. I just need to wait two more weeks and then I can call him ” he said to himself.

“Hyung don't be mad!, you don't have any idea what mom and dad could and would do to you in coming two weeks. They could even marry you off to some random girl ” Taehyung said

Taehyung was right but Jin can't call him right now. Never in his right mind he would like to be the cause of Namjoon's incomplete dream.

‘But then who should I call? ’ he thought.

Suddenly he thought of a person who can help him

“Tae can you call Jimin and ask him to give his phone to Seo Joon ” he asked. Taehyung nodded and immediately called his best friend

“Hello ” a sleepy Jimin said

“Jimin can you give your phone to Seo Joon hyung please, it's an emergency, Hyung wants to talk to him ” Tae immediately asked to which Jimin agreed and called Seo Joon.

“Hello? ” Seo Joon said in a worried way.

“Seo Joon, please help me, my mother found about me and Joon, and locked me here. I also can't contact Namjoon for some reasons, can you please help me ” Jin spoke.

“God! Jin, hope you are okay. Anyways do one pack your things, I coming there to take you. You are going to stay with us till Namjoon comes back. ” he replied. Jin didn't wanted to be a burden on his best friend but it's his only choice right now.

Soon after Seo Joon reached their house and they helped Seokjin to escape the house successfully.

Saying that Tae wouldn't miss his hyung would absolutely be a lie but he is happy that at least now he would be able to live his life with his love.

Taehyung took a mental note to himself that in his relationship with Jungkook, he has to be very very VERY careful and don't let his mother even knowing about it or else it would be the last day of his on this planet.

Two weeks later

Taehyung entered his house, exhausted. He was about to go to his when someone grabbed his hairs.

“ARGH!! ” Taehyung let out a painful scream.

“You! Disgusting, ungrateful brat! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING HUH?? ” an angry voice of his mother asked. With that he felt like he was thrown on the floor and and he felt her mother throwing some sorts of paper on his face.

He tried to look closely at them and saw they were some sorts of photos.
He felt his heart sank deeper and deeper. Those photos were of Tae and kookie kissing passionately.
