“On the count of three okay? ” Tae asked feeling his stomach twisted due to nervousness.

Jungkook simply hummed.

“Okay one...two....and three! ” Taehyung said removing his hands from Jungkook's eyes.

“Ta-da!” Tae said, nervous about the younger's reaction.

“This, This is amazing hyung ” Jungkook exclaimed jumping like a child.

Taehyung just stared at him with fondness in his eyes. Every single thing the ravenette does whether it's the way his eyes sparkled seeing the beautiful lights and decoration of the park, or the way he was jumping like a 10-year old whose mother just agreed to buy him a toy. Taehyung can't help but remember how deeply he had fallen for the younger. He has been secretly loving the ravenette for quite a while now, he realised it when he felt his inner self burning with jealousy when a random girl tried to flirt and asked him out.

He knew that there was a big possibility that Jungkook may not like him in the way Taehyung wanted him to. Heck he didn't even knew whether the younger boy was gay or not. Because of all these he decided to keep his love for the younger a secret but not anymore. He has decided that he would confess his feelings to him today.

While he was thinking about all these things, he didn't realised that he was staring for quite a while now neither did he realized that Jungkook has stopped jumping with excitement long ago and now was reciprocating the same gaze as Taehyung.

For Jungkook it was like a dream come true.

He fell in love with the older when the first time he saw him. It may sound cliche but for Jungkook it was love at first sight and thanks to his love expert bestie Sooyeon, he was able to understand his feelings for the older quite early.

But Jungkook was afraid, that all the things the brunette for Jungkook was just a normal things done by friends and Jungkook over thought it as love because no one else has ever care for him. (Except of course his mother and two best friends.) And a big possibility of the older being straight, also scared him.

Funny how the whole school except had realised that these two are so in love.

If the sentence, two idiots in love, had a visual representation it would surely be them.

Back to our idiots now.

When Taehyung asked him out for a proper date he felt like there might be a tiny possibility that the older also liked him the way Jungkook wanted.

The both stared at each other with fondness, pure love and care until Taehyung finally decided to speak up.

“Did you liked the surprise? ” he asked.

“Like it? I loved it! ” Jungkook exclaimed. “y'know kookie, I was so nervous thinking about where to take you for a date but I thought a amusement park date would be great and I am so relieved that you liked it.” Taehyung happily said.

“I would be happy anywhere with you” Kookie said, looking at him in the eyes.

Taehyung pecked his forehead and they both went inside the park, hand in hand, for enjoying their first date night. Little bit they knew that it would change their whole life.

Present time

“Never knew that you had been to a date before ” Jin said raising an eyebrow.

“Hyung, out of all the questions you could have asked, you chose this? ” Tae said in disbelief.

Jin rolled his eyes and concentrated on his ramen.

It was 2 or 3 in the morning but neither of them cared about it. All they cared about was their respective bowls of ramen and Tae's story which contained a lot of spice than his bowl of Ramen itself.

“I just thought that the air became thick so I tried to to ease it. ” Jin poutily said.

“Well best of luck to you because the worst part is about to start. ” Tae said.

“I am all ears, Taebear ” Jin assured him.

Back to the flashback

They both have been in the park for almost 2 hours and might've tried each and every ride.

If you ask Jungkook which was his favorite ride, he would definitely answer the boat ride. The memory of Tae holding him tightly while the boat slided down the water slide (refer to Run BTS ep 51) was giving him the wildest butterflies in his stomach.

While for Taehyung it is definitely the pirate ship ride. He swear to god he has never blushed as hard in his life as he did when his hands touched Jungkook's and the latter immediately took them in his grasp while the ship was continuously swinging. (again refer to Run BTS ep 51)

Right now the couple were eating snacks and refilling their energy.

“So what's the next ride Hyung? ” Jungkook asked taking a bite of the corn dog in his hand.

“Since we've rode every other ride, the next and last ride of today would be the Ferris wheel. A perfect and romantic way for ending our first date. ” Tae replied mouth filled with French fries.

“T-thats great ” Jungkook replied hoping the older won't notice the little blush on his cheeks.

They both went back to eating and scrolling through their phone.

While doing so, Tae received a notification on his phone.

Tae smiled to himself as he looked at the picture again and again.

“Hyung eat fast, we've to go on the Ferris wheel too ” Jungkook whined as he finished his corn dog.

Tae smiled and obeyed it.

Time skip
At the Ferris wheel

They both were staring in awe at the view in front of them

“So beautiful ” Jungkook mumbled looking at scenery. “Indeed very beautiful ” Tae agreed but instead of looking at the view he was looking at Jungkook.

Jungkook turned to face the older and caught him staring at Jungkook red-handed but the younger didn't mind.

He looked directly in the eyes of the older and said “The most beautiful ”

Taehyung chuckled and broke the eye contact. He took a long deep breath and readied him for his next step.

“Jungkook, I want to say something ” he said and the younger nodded signalling him to continue.

“Since the day I met you I felt this weird attraction towards soon it turned into protectiveness, care concern and possessiveness and it didn't took me too long to realise what it was. Jeon Jungkook I love you.” he confessed and closed his eyes waiting for the younger's answer.

But instead of replying, the younger pressed his soft lips against Tae's plump ones.

Taehyung eyes widened in surprise. It took him a moment to process what was happening. They stood like this for a moment before Jungkook pulled away and said “I love you too hyung more than you could even think of ”

Hearing it, Tae wasted no time before closing the gap between them and crashing his lips with Jungkook's. He kissed him passionately like he was waiting for this moment for much long.

Jungkook grabbed Tae's hair and deepened the kiss. Tae encircled his hands around Jungkook's nape and Jungkook encircled his around Tae's waist.

Tae bit Jungkook's lower lip. Jungkook moaned at it and allowed Taehyung's tongue to enter his mouth. Their tongues fought for dominance and Jungkook willingly gave in. Taehyung's tongue moved all around Jungkook's mouth exploring each and every corner of it.

The both pulled away feeling the need of oxygen. Their lips were swollen and face flushed. Jungkook's lips were even bleeding a little which made Taehyung worried. “Is your lips okay ” he asked concerned. Jungkook just nodded still panting for gasping for air.

“Was I being very rough? I am sorry I would be careful next time. It must have hurt isn't it ” Taehyung ranted.

“Hyuuuung! Relax! It's okay don't worry and no it didn't hurt if anything, it felt like heaven. ” Jungkook assured the older. “Never knew you were such a good kisser ” he teased him.

Taehyung chuckled and connected their foreheads. “Jungkook will you be my boyfriend? ” he asked. “I would love to ” replied Jungkook.

They both stayed like that till the end of the ride but unknown to both was a storm arrived at Tae's house.

P.s. I became an army in middle Dec of 2022 and was totally disheartened when I knew that few days before me becoming an army, BTS' chapter 2 started, their solo era started and worse Jin enlistment for military. I waited for 1 and a half years to finally see him. Today 12th June, 2024 Jin finally completed his service and came back. As an army it's my first time seeing him officially active and I can't explain my happiness.

I can't explain my impatience from the start of this year and especially this month and after this much waiting he's back. 1 back, 6 more to go. I just hope he's stay happy and healthy and safe after his discharge. All the best to him for his upcoming projects.
