Well my dog is sad... and I'll tell you why...

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful dog named Iliana.
Iliana gave birth to 5 little pups, one misshapen. The non-misshapen pups were weak and died a few hours after birth while the last one, survived. She deeply loved her pup who she named, Lilac. Lilac was missing her back left leg, so she had a bit of trouble walking. Iliana made sure that her beloved pup would grow up healthy and strong.
~6 years later~
Iliana and Lilac where investigating something humans were building, it was black with a stripe going down the middle. The thing was very wide and hard, it hurt their paws. While they were investigating a big shiny monster rolled along the path. It's blue coat shining in the sun and its thunderous roar shaking the ground. Iliana and Lilac were scared and bolted for the safety of the forest, Iliana made it but she turned around just in time to see the beast hit her daughter, her only daughter...her beloved. Iliana's eyes widened at the sight. Once the beast ran away from the scene Iliana bolted to get daughter's side. She licked up the blood and her wounds and nudged her in the sides.
She picked lilac up by the scruff of her neck and carried her into the forests safety. Lilac' s breathing could barely be noticed by her now matted up fur. The moon was high in the sky as lilac breathed her last breath and went limp.
Iliana' s howls of pain, sorrow, grief, and anger filled the star and moonlit sky. Her daughter's spirit will now wander upon the stars and watch over her every night.
