Sage walked beside the rest of the order as Harry snuck into the Great Hall to confront Snape. The only thing Sage was focused on was finding her father. It was an early morning like the sun hadn't even risen yet, and students were awake.

And she did. She saw him standing there, looking around at what seemed to be for her. She smiled and approached him. "Sage..." he said once he realized her coming near him, he hugged her.

"I missed you," she said quietly, as they pulled away.

"I missed you too," he said quietly, gripping onto his daughter's shoulders, "Happy birthday."

Sage had completely lost track of time. "What?" She questioned.

"It's May 2nd, it's your birthday," he told her. "Happy birthday."

Sage nodded slowly. "Thanks," she said. "I'm sorry I lost track of time after Christmas."

"Why are you apologizing?" He asked softly

She shrugged. "I don't know," she admitted. "Have you heard anything about Draco?"

He shook his head. "No... I'm sorry." He said. "Sage, I do know he's working with you-know-who."

Sage looked down for a moment before nodding. "Okay," she said. Why Draco? Why did she have to fall in love with Draco? It didn't make sense to her, why it had to be him. The enemy.

He was just a boy... a soldier that the dark side used, just like her, like she was used by Dumbledore.

The Order gathered together, as they entered the Great Hall. Snape looked shocked for a moment. "It seems, even though of your defensive strategies, you still have a bit do a security problem, headmaster," Harry said. "I'm afraid it's quite extensive. How dare you stand where he stood. Tell them how it happened that night! How you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted him and killed him! Tell them."

Anger flooded Snape's face, as he glanced at Sage, before grinning at her. "Miss me, Miss Lupin?" He asked with a grin before pulling his wand out at Harry.

Sage froze, no, he didn't do that. Did people know? She just stared at the floor as gasps echoed through the hall and McGonagall made her way in front of Harry, to protect him.

McGonagall had her wand out, and the order pulled theirs out. Snape took a bit hesitant but stood his ground. McGonagall cast defensive spell after another, but Snape only protected himself.

The fight, if you consider it one, resulted in the unconsciousness of the Carrows and ended in a Snape apparating away.

Almost instantly came another problem. Voldemort started telling the other ones, the vulnerable ones that if they gave him Harry, they would survive.

People were hesitant about what they should do. "Somebody grab him!" Pansy Parkinson shouted.

Ginny was the first to move to Harry, then Hermione and the rest of the order, and some students moved around him, to protect him.

Filch started running into the hall screaming. "Students in the corridor!"

McGonagall rolled her eyes. "They are supposed to be out of bed, you blithering idiot!" McGonagall snapped.

"Oh, sorry."

"As it happens. Mr. Filch, your arrival is most opportune. If you would I would like you to please lead Miss Parkinson and the rest of the Slytherin house from the hall." she ordered

"Exactly where is it I'll be leading them?"

"The dungeons would do," she said, people started clapping as Filch took the Slytherin. Harry was talking to McGonagall as Sage just glanced around, Dean and Seamus made their way to her.

So Hogwarts took action, to try and stall time and protect itself.

Sage, Dean, Seamus, and Neville all followed McGonagall and Flitwick outside as they made a plan.

"Let me get this straight professor," Neville said. "You're actually giving us permission to do this?"

"That is correct, Longbottom."

"To blow it up! Boom!" Neville exclaimed.

"Boom!" McGonagall exclaimed back.

"Wicked," Neville said with a smile. "Now how on earth are we gonna do that?"

McGonagall shrugged. "Why don't you confer with Mr. Finnigan," she told him. "As I recall he has a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics."

Sage laughed and Seamus looked proud. "I can bring it down." He said.

"That's the spirit!" McGonagall exclaimed. Sage turned away to follow the boys, but McGonagall stopped her. "Sage, stay with us."

So she did.
