department of mysteries

Sage walked into the Department of Mysteries. They walked around until a glowing ball sat on a shelf. Harry picked it up. It said:

'The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not...and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives...the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies.'

Sage stared "T-that's the prophecy, that the order talks about..." Sage mumbled. Suddenly people in dark cloaks approached them, they all drew their wands and pointed them in different directions.

"Where is Sirius?" Harry asked angrily.

"You didn't notice the difference between dreams," the death eater said, pulling his wand out and taking his mask off. Lucius Malfoy. "Reality. You saw only what the dark lord wanted you to see. Now hand me the prophecy,"

"You do anything to us and I'll break it," Harry threatened.

Suddenly an evil laugh could be heard a figure started walking towards them and Sage recognized it as Bellatrix Lestrange. "He knows how to play," Bellatrix teased, "Itty, bitty, baby, Potter,"

"Bellatrix Lestrange?" Neville questioned nervously.

"Neville Longbottom is it?" Bellatrix mocked, "How's Mum and dad?"

"Better now their about to be avenged!" Neville snapped pulling his wand out and inched forward. Harry flew his arm in front of Neville and Bellatrix raised her wand quickly.

Lucius put his arms up in surrender "Let's everybody calm down..." Lucius said slowly, "All we want is that prophecy,"

"Why did Voldemort need me to come and get it?" Harry questioned.

"How dare you speak his name!" Bellatrix accused "You filthy half-blood!"

"You're just a curious lad aren't you?" Lucius said, "Prophecies can only be retrieved only by whom they are made for. Which is lucky for you really. Haven't you always wondered what was the reason for the connection between you and the Dark Lord? I was unable to kill you when you were an infant, don't you want to know the secret of your scar? All the answers are there, Potter, in your hand. All you have to do is give it to me. I can show you everything," Harry and Lucius stared at one another.

More death eaters appeared around them and Sage looked around, cursing under her breath. "I've waited 14 years," Harry said.

Lucius nodded, "I know," Lucius replied.

"Guess I can wait a little longer... NOW!" Harry shouted.

"Stupefy!" They all cast. The death eaters went flying back. The seven began to run.

Battling Death Eaters along the way, Harry running with the prophecy. The group split up, Sage running on her own, Bellatrix appeared in front of her, she turned around, running again, away from Bellatrix. She turned as she ran from Bellatrix and pointed her wand "Stupefy!" She yelled Bellatrix flew back and she ran into the others.

"Reducto!" Ginny cast, a light came from her wand and she smiled. The prophecies began to fall and death eaters started to chase them again, they ran together.

The seven were able to outrun them and they appeared in front of a door. Harry pulled the door open "Jump!" He yelled and they jumped out. They fell... and fell until they stopped right before the ground and then fell again.

Sage fell against the ground and groaned. Sage stood up with the others and shook the dirt off of her, Harry was staring at a veil while Ron mumbled things. "The voices?" Harry questioned. "Can you tell what they're saying?"

"There aren't any voices," Hermione told him. "Let's get out of here,"

Luna started walking closer to Harry, "I hear them too," she said.

Sage tried to listen and hear them, but she couldn't.

"It's just an empty archway," Hermione told them. "Please Harry!"

Harry turned around quickly, "Get behind me!" He ordered, the other six listened and rushed behind him. Their wands our and ready. Black Death Eater shadows flew through them fast.

Before Sage could do anything she was grabbed by one of them and taken away from the group. Once she was able to see again, everyone was grabbed, except Harry. The Death Eater's wand pointed at her neck.

She couldn't tell who it was, but it was a man. Lucius laughed evilly, "Did you actually think? Were you truly naive enough to think you children stood a chance against us," Lucius mocked, "I'll make this simple for you Potter? Give me the prophecy now, or watch your friends die,"

Harry looked around for a few seconds "Don't give it to him Harry!" Neville shouted, which made Bellatrix hold onto him tighter. Harry slowly handed the prophecy to Lucius.

Sirius suddenly appeared behind Lucius, "Get away from my godson!" Sirius yelled and punched Lucius, Lucius was knocked over. As other beams of light appeared, which were members of the Order, the prophecy shattered.

The order got rid of the death eaters holding the students and then was ready to duel.

Sage saw her father in the distance, "Dad!" She yelled.

He turned once hearing his daughter's voice "Sage?" He questioned. Worriedly he hexed a death eater and rushed over to her. "What are you doing here?" He ducked behind a rock with her.

"Helping Harry, as you told me too!" Sage exclaimed loudly.

"No- No Sage, that doesn't mean put yourself in danger!" Remus hissed, "Get out of here, go! Before you get hurt!"

Sage shook her head "No!" She shouted, "I'm not leaving Dad. I'm not just a kid anymore this is war, Voldemort killed Cedric! My friend!"

Remus sighed "Okay..." he said hesitatingly, he stood up from the rock and hit another death eater, Sage escaped her father's grasp.

"Stupefy!" She yelled as a death eater came towards her, he flew back. But he came right back, and one hand. "Expelliarmus!"

Finally, the wand flew from the Death Eater's hand and Sage continued funny. She saw the others hiding behind a rock. "Sage!" Hermione yelled, which made her stop in her tracks "Hide please!"

"I'm sorry Hermione," Sage said quickly, "But that's my family! I have to help!"

She ran off but crashed into Bellatrix as she went running to Tonks. Lucius was next to her, Bellatrix rolled her eyes "Stupid girl," Bellatrix hissed and went to raise her wand "Avada-"

Lucius turned quickly "Stop!" He yelled, "That's Sage, Draco's girlfriend,"

Sage leaned back on her arms, "You're saved this time Lupin," Bellatrix hissed and ran off.

"Thank you..." Sage mumbled.

Lucius sighed "Sage I'm sorry, but I can't let you die today, can't see Draco bear that pain," Lucius said quickly, he cast an unknown spell at the girl and the last thing she could remember was everything going black and unbearable pain in her abdomen.

Just a few minutes later, she slowly opened her eyes, her vision was blurry and she was in pain from whatever curse Lucius casted.

She looked down at her abdomen and a little blood was seeping through her shirt. Her ears rang as she sat up.

But the loud sound of dueling soon came back and Sage caught Sirius and Harry up by the veil.

"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled and got rid of Lucius's wand.

"Nice one James!" Sirius cheered, not realizing what he said. He made Lucius fly back and Bellatrix appeared on a rock a decent distance away.

"Avada Kedarva!" Bellatrix said instantly. The green light hit Sirius, Harry watched with fear. Sirius fell back into the veil.

Remus quickly ran up and grabbed Harry from behind, to prevent him from going after Sirius, "No!" Harry yelled and let out a loud scream.

Sage watched, Sirius was dead, "Sirius!" She yelled.

Harry cried loudly, as Remus kept holding onto him. "I killed Sirius Black!" Bellatrix chanted. Harry escaped from Remus's grasp and ran towards Bellatrix's voice.

That's when Remus rushed down to his daughter. "Sage we have to go," Remus told her and picked her up.

"I'm fine," she told him.

"You aren't fine, I'll take you back to school, Pomfrey can help okay?" Remus asked.

Sage nodded slowly and Remus apparated with her.
