quidditch world cup
Sage let out a loud yawn as she sat up from her bed. She was prepared for a fresh start this year, last year was rough as her godfather, Sirius Black, escaped Azkaban. Turns out he was innocent. But that's beyond. Sage through on a sweater and jeans before going downstairs to eat breakfast. Her father was sitting on the couch. Fourth-year was scarce of a week and a half away. But today she was going to the quidditch World Cup with the Weasleys and Harry. "Morning darling," Remus greeted.
"Morning dad," Sage said as she grabbed some bread and popped it into the toaster.
"The Weasley's should be here soon," Remus said.
"Alrighty thanks, dad," Sage beamed. Her toast finished and she put it on a plate, taking a bite out of it. "I'm taking care of magical creatures this year and arithmancy," she said with her mouth full of food.
"Sounds fun," Remus said, smiling proudly, suddenly a honk could be heard from outside "That must be the Weasley's,"
"Dammit," Sage hissed, stopping in her tracks.
"Language," Remus ordered.
Sage nodded "Sorry dad!" She said quickly and stuffed her face with the rest of the toast, "Bye dad!" She walked out the front door and to the Weasley's car.
"Hello Sage dear," Molly greeted.
"Hello Molly," Sage said, smiling, "Goodmorning,"
"Oi Sage, up for another year of adventures?" George asked.
"Maybe it's time for us to have a break," Sage joked.
"Dad said we're meeting Mr. Diggory and his son for the tournament," Ginny explained.
Sage nodded "For what?" Sage asked.
Ron shrugged "We hadn't got a clue," Ron said.
The car was completely packed, luckily they had magic to their abilities and could make the car roomier. Hermione hugged Sage "Hey Sage," she said softly, "How was your summer?"
Hermione pulled away, "It was great," Sage responded "Yours?"
"It was great as well," Hermione replied.
Sage looked at Harry who smiled "And yours Harry?" She asked.
"It was alright, sucks having it spent with the Dursley's," Harry admitted.
"Yeah uh I'm sorry about that," Sage said.
"We're here!" Arthur announced, opening the door. It was a grassy hill, no tournament insight. Sage didn't question a thing but she got out of the car with the rest. Molly, who wasn't attending went to drive home. Amos Diggory and his son stood in sight. "Amos!"
"Arthur," Amos cheered. "Who do we got here?"
"Fred, George, Ron, Ginny, Sage, Hermione, and Harry," Arthur said, "Guys this is Amos Diggory and his son Cedric,"
Sage smiled and waved "Hello," she greeted.
Amos gave the girl a smile before standing up straight "Well no time to wait let's go!"
They watched Amos pull a shoe out and place it in front of them "Grab ahold," Arthur ordered.
'Ah Porkey,' Sage thought, she grabbed ahold of it, and as did everyone else, except Harry.
"Harry quick!" Arthur ordered. Harry quickly grabbed on and everything started spinning. "Let go!"
"Guys you have to let go!" Amos Diggory shouted. Everyone let go and flew to the ground, stopping an inch before it, then falling.
But appeared Amos, Arthur, and Cedric floating down. They were all outside the tournament. "Woah..." Sage mumbled and stood to her feet. Arthur said goodbye to the Diggory's and the group followed him to what looked to be a small tent.
"Are you sure we're all gonna fit?" Ron asked, chuckling. Arthur rolled his eyes and stepped inside.
The kids exchanged glances of confusion before following him in. It was huge, they all stared in awe, none of them expected this. "We better hurry upset your stuff down," Arthur said.
Sage set her small bag down and they all headed to the stands. "Oi Potter!" A familiar voice called. Everyone looked down to see Draco Malfoy and his father. "We got a spot in the minsters box!"
Lucius stared at them with disgust before turning towards his son "Don't brag Draco!" Lucius hissed, "At least if it rains, you guys will be first to know,"
Arthur rolled his eyes "Come on children," Arthur mumbled, they walked to their seats.
It was an interesting game, Krum got the snitch but Ireland still won.
They gathered back at the tent. "Krum!" Ron cheered.
"Oh Ron, I think you're in love," Ginny teased.
"Oh shut up," Ron said. Everyone chuckled at Ginny's comment.
Suddenly there were loud noises and Arthur rushed in "Sounds like the Irish got their party on," George commented.
Arthur looked worried, "It's not the Irish, we gotta go!" He ordered.
Sage looked at Ginny and Harry. They all followed Arthur out. There was panicking and screaming. People running. Complete chaos. "George, Fred! Ginny is your responsibility! Stick together and get to the Porky,"
Sage nodded quickly and started rushing out quickly with the twins and Ginny. She hopped Ron, Hermione, and Harry were behind them. She lost sight of the twins when she bumped into someone. "Fuck," she hissed under her breath. She was struggling to get up with everyone's running. Someone stuck their hand out in front of her, she grabbed it without even knowing who it was.
But when she was on her feet it was Draco Malfoy. She was taken aback when she met his grey eyes "Lupin! Run! Hurry!" He shouted.
Sage ran past him, feeling his eyes on him as she ran. Draco? Helping her? A half-blood Gryffindor? It didn't make a bit of sense.
When she got to the Porkey, the twins and Ginny were there "Oh thank god! Sage!" Ginny yelled.
"We were worried sick!" Fred shouted over the ruckus.
"Sorry, I uh fell," Sage explained. "Where're the others,"
"Looking for Harry," George replied. Sage turned around seeing a dark mark in the sky.
"Death eaters," she hissed under her breath, "He told us to wait here,"
A/N:
I'm sorry about the rough writing. I'm really trying to transfer from using Until Dawn transcript to my Harry Potter memory. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
