Sidon's Perspective-

Sidon was waiting out back, putting a pool noodle in his pool and checking his phone for any texts from Link.

"I'm here :)" Link texted and Sidon walked to his front door, opening it.

Link looked up and Sidon smiled.

"Hey! Glad you could make it. Ready to jump in the water?"

"Uh- yeah, give me a sec." Link put down his bag and took off his shirt, putting it with his other stuff.

They walked outside and Sidon stepped into he water. Link followed and they stood in the shallow end.

"Okay, so how much do you know? Like did your parents ever give you swimming lessons?"

"I can kick around in a floaty but I haven't really swam since I was maybe four."

Sidon slides the pool noodle over to Link, telling him to hold onto it.

After they swam around for a bit, Sidon was going to teach Link how to hold his breath underwater.

"It's pretty easy, but at first you might accidentally breathe in the water." Sidon chuckled, "So, you just dive down and blow out of your nose. Got it?"

Link nods and he ducks his head underwater.

He stays down for a minute or so before coming back up.

"Nice!" Sidon said, giving him a thumbs up.

"Now, let's test if you can do that while moving." Sidon crouched down, "Put your arms around my shoulders."

Link's eyes widened.

"What?" Link asked, wincing as his voice cracked.

Sidon smiled at Link over his shoulder.

"Do you trust me?"

Link nods and Sidon took his arms, wrapping them around his shoulders.

Link blushed and he slowly was piggy backing Sidon.

"You ready?" Sidon asked.

"Y-yeah."

"Tap my shoulder twice if you need to go up for air, got it?"

Link nods.

Sidon smiled. "Hold your breath!"

Link took a big breath and Sidon dived under water, pushing off the wall towards the deep end.

Link held on tightly, blowing out air through his nose.

Sidon swam up and held onto the wall. Link coughed a bit but gave Sidon a thumbs up, holding onto the wall as well.

"You okay?"

Link nods and Sidon smiles.

Later on, they went inside. Sidon let Link shower and borrow some of his clothes and Link stepped out to see Sidon wasn't in the room. Link looked around and stepped out to see the room across the hall that said 'Mipha's Room'.

He walked over and observed the drawing. It looked like a drawing of girl standing next to a a little boy and they were holding hands with a heart above them.

Link heard footsteps and turned around to see Sidon's father, Dorephan.

Link jumped and Dorephan just nodded.

Link nodded back and Dorephan sighed.

"I'm assuming he hasn't told you?" He said, and Link tilted his head.

"Mipha is Sidon's older sister." Dorephan said, his grip on his hands tightening behind his back, "She died when Sidon was seven."

Link's eyes widened and he heard someone walk up the stairs.

He turned around and saw Sidon holding a couple board games in his hands and tears were in his eyes.

"S-Sidon- "

Sidon dropped the games, causing them to spill everywhere on the floor, and he marched to his room, slamming the door behind him.
