Do You Trust Me?
Sidon's Perspective-
It was the weekend and Sidon was feeling a lot better. He looked over at the wrapped gift and decided to open it. He wanted to open it earlier but he didn't wanna get his germs all over..whatever it was.
Sidon unwrapped it carefully and he gasped as he saw a little crochet shark plushie.
"Awww! It's like a little dumpling!" He chuckled and kissed it gently before setting it down on his Blahaj's head.
When Link arrived, he showed him the little shark.
Link chuckled, "Glad you like them."
"It's very cute, thank you."
"Have you named it?" Link asked, tilting his head.
Sidon hummed.
"How about...Omelet?"
"Omelet?" Link giggled and Sidon smiles.
"I think it's fitting."
"How?"
"...yes." Sidon smirked and Link rolled his eyes, laughing.
They got to the beach and Link was a bit timid. Sidon was pretty happy though, and that made Link smile.
They put down their stuff and Sidon took off his shoes, walking towards the water.
He glanced back at Link and waved his hand.
"Come on!"
Link nods and he walks over. The water laps at his ankles and he takes a deep breath, calming his nerves.
"We won't go that deep, so you don't have to worry." Sidon smiles.
"Yeah...right." Link nods.
Sidon walked in and he held out his hand for Link to take.
"Do you trust me?"
Link blushed and he slowly held Sidon's hand, letting him drag him into the water.
-
Sidon held up a sand dollar to show Link.
"There's so many here! And you can see their tracks under the water." Sidon said, putting the sand dollar back down gently.
"Do you wanna see them?" Sidon asked.
"I'm good." Link smiled.
Sidon frowns, "Come on, it's not that bad. I know salt water hurts way more if you get it up your nose, but just blow out and hold your breath. You did great when we were in the pool!"
Link sighs and nods.
Sidon smiles.
"Do you trust me?" He asked, and Link smiled a bit.
"Always."
-
Link was sitting on his towel, drawing in the sand with a stick he found. He was watching as people walked by and then heard someone walk over to him. He looked up and saw Sidon, who looked a bit sad.
"You okay?" Link asked, watching as Sidon sat down next to him.
Sidon sighs, "Yeah, I just had a bad thought." He ran a hand through his hair and squeezed the water out.
Link glanced over at him and he said gently,
"You know, you can always talk about it."
Sidon looked down, he knew that he had to stop bottling up his feelings, but it was something he had done so long.
"Do you trust me?" Link said in a quiet voice, smiling a bit.
Sidon laughed quietly and he smiled, wrapping his arm around Link and giving him a side hug.
Link blushed and he smiled.
"Thanks, I...I do trust you, I just...have trouble putting my thoughts into words."
"I get it, believe me. But it's really strong of you to let down that shield and let me know what's going on." Link said, smiling.
"You know accepting the fact that you may struggle with something- "
"-is the biggest win." Sidon finished, his voice barely audible.
Link blushed as he felt Sidon hold his hand and Sidon smiled, leaning in.
"Well then I have one of my biggest strengths with the help from you." Sidon said in a gentle tone before kissing Link softly.
