Chapter 47
SOPHIA'S POV
The doctor ran some tests on me, and suddenly, I felt a sharp pain. I shrieked. In my head, I saw a very injured white wolf, and five other wolves.
"There's something wrong with Aiden!" I yelled, "He's very injured, and uh, he is being attacked by five wolves!"
"On it." Jane said, and her eyes went black.
"What did you do?" I asked her, "We have to save him!"
"I've already dispatched the best fighters to every part of the pack." She said.
I don't know why I said this, "I want to help him too! I'm scared..."
"He'll be fine, he's a fire Alpha." She said way too carelessly.
I dashed out of the room, and for the first time, I heard my wolf's voice in my head clearly.
'Let me take over, I know where our mate is.' She said, and I gave in.
I shifted for the first time, and god it hurt so much. But all my thoughts were focused on Aiden, so my wolf followed his scent.
Running in this form was so much more faster, and I got there in ten minutes. No help was there. I saw Aiden's white wolf lying while the other wolves took their shot on him. He looked so much more worse than I had seen him in the vision.
I crept behind the bushes, and when the grey wolf started kicking him, I pounced on the wolf, and scratched him.
He howled, and pushed my off of him. A wolf with deep red fur lunged at me, but a bright light blinded him.
'Sophia?' I heard Aiden's weak voice in my head.
'I'm sorry it took me so long, Aiden.' I said.
I found out that I was the one who had blinded him. I blinded the others the same way too. I saw the pack fighters running towards us. They handled the wolves, and made my way to Aiden.
'Aiden? Stay awake, please.' I said in my head.
His eyes weakly fluttered, but he had lost way too much blood, and he was very injured. He had definitely also broken atleast five bones.
'Aiden! Talk to me!' I commanded.
He weakly said, 'Yes, my love?'
'Don't you dare go unconscious.' I commanded again.
'Okay.' He said submissively.
I really didn't know what I was doing, but I put my paws over his wound, and the light I had used to blind the bad wolves was healing him.
The wound closed up, and Aiden's eyes opened properly.
'Was I hallucinating, or are you a light wolf?' He asked.
I blinked, 'Light wolf?'
'Nevermind.' He sighed.
'How exactly can we talk like this? In our heads?' I asked him curiously.
'Mind link.' He replied.
The warriors had taken care of the wolves, and knocked them out and captured them. I told them to carry Aiden back to his house through mind-link.
'Yes, Luna!' They said, and I almost corrected them that I was Sophia, not Luna. But then I realized, I liked this. Being a wolf, being with Aiden. I was respected. So why was I resisting?
