We were in a hotel room, We had already gone to  two towns with a few more to go. It's quite a weird process, we go to the houses who have reported missing children over the past seven or so years and see if they lost a little girl named Jack when she was five. Like I said a weird process. I hated doing it, It was so awkward going up to a random strangers house and asking if they lost a daughter. The other way we did it was not nearly as bad. We would go to the local Church and send out a report that a little girl had been found named Jack who got lost at five. People would come to see if they recognized me, sadly so far no one had. Two weeks till Christmas and we had been working for about two weeks.

"Ready to go, Jack?" I hear Joey call out when I'm half asleep.

"Ugh do we have too?" I said sleepily.

"Well if you want to find your family we do." Joey protest as he pulls on his coat.

"Fine." I sigh as I got up.

Joey was right, if I was going to find my family I had to get up.

We walked down to the lobby and grabbed a bite to eat then started our journey. We jumped into his car and he drove down the snowy streets until we reached a small neighborhood.

He pulled up to a house I jumped out of the car and grab all my charts, graphs and personal information papers. I ran up to the door my black curls catching the white snow flakes. I knocked on the door and a tall lady opened it. I ran her threw all the questions paper work and everything she possibly would need to know.

"No sorry." She said.

"Oh it's okay, I'll find my family somehow."

I don't want to bore you with details, but this went on for the whole neighborhood, house after house, door after door. Finally a get in the car and it's time to return to the hotel. When we reached the hotel I hopped out of the car and ran in I was literally tired of looking and being turned down. 

Just another town, just another day.......of waiting....
