Charles POV

I was waiting at the bench in the park.

I woke up at 6:59. a little early. Of course Ellie or Henry would never have to wake up this early at 6:00 right?

i saw Ellie running towards me while but her black jean jacket. It was a cold morning too. I was confused why she woke up early and ran to me.

"CHARLES! I NEED-*huff*-TO TELL YOU-*huff*-SOMETHING!" She huffed and puffed between words. "woah,woah clam down Ellie what do you need to tell me?" She whizzed for air. i wondered how far or how many MILES to just reach to me.

"d-do you....ah....*puff*........you like H-Henry....?"

"yes! i mean Henry's my friend! why wou-"

"no....I mean..*cough*....you l-love him...like.....a b-boyfriend?"

I stared at Ellie. She knew?! I never thought she wanted to if i did. I mean I do love him. i have a little crush on him. i mean a big a crush.

"um...y-yes. PLEASE DON'T TELL HIM!"

Ellie smile. she was still weak from running. "promise."

Ellie is my  friend so...i can trust her with this. 

"Charles? Ellie?"

I turned around and saw Henry wearing a grey hoodie.

"Hi Henry!" "hello romeo."

Ellie joked. Henry's face turned red as a cherry. I giggled a bit. "what does she mean? you have crush on someone?" it kinda broke my heart tho...maybe he's already taken.

"NO!I MEAN-ELLIE WAS JOKING! IT'S NOT LIKE I....love you..

"what?"

"nada..."

I didn't really hear that last part.I was confused as hell.

"don't worry Charles! you and Henry will spend the night together right?" My eyes brighten and nodded as fast but too fast.

"y-yeah..hehe.." 

I saw Ellie winked at him causing Henry to say something under his breath. I was remembered that i said would be spending the night at Henry's place. I smiled at him as he blush harder when i did. now he's as bright as an apple.

"hey you to wanna go anywhere? what about i stuff Henry with snowball,now that'll be a big hit!" I heard Henry gulp as I shook my head no.

"NOT TODAY! NOPE NOT DYEING I LIVE!" Henry screamed and ran to the tree. Ellie chased him with a snow ball.

I laughed. I DISTRACTED Ellie with a throw of a snowball. She chased me instead of Henry. and he escaped. As soon Ellie relized she was distracted she gave up.

"you win Henry.."

Henry came out of a pile of snow in the ground all icey blue.

"well...that's worse." Ellie luaghed.

"hey,uh Charles wanna to my place now or.."

"sure! i'd love to!"

i heard a sniff and turned around. Ellie was fake crying. "they grow up so fast don't they..well have fun! don't do i..uh..would do." after Ellie said that she left. it was only me and Henry.

Henry led me to his House. Once I went inside i was already warm. I took of my fluffy red jacket.

"Charles. your hair reminds me of chocolate..."

"really?!"

"Yeah my hair pitch of black darkness.."

"haha..!"

I loved Henry's humor. But the fact that my hair reminds him of chocolate was sweet of him. I felt Henry come close to me and put his hand on my cheek.

"H-Henry?!"

"you're so warm. meanwhile me i'm cold."

"well that's why you shouldn't hide in a pile of snow."

"there was nowhere else to hide!"

We chuckled a bit. I looked at him in the eyes. and hugged him. Henry jumped in surprised then hugged back. "thank you for letting me stay. i was lonely back at my place!" "no problem Charlie." 

I looked at him. "Charlie? you..you wanna call me that?"

"yeah that bad?"

I shook my head no. "you can call me that."

I hugged him again. and he hugged me back. and I never wanted to let go.
