Part Four
Time skip a few days~
Also, the picture. ;)
"We're going out for dinner." Mitch suddenly announced one day while they were all watching TV(except for Seto, who was upstairs like always).
"Are we now?" Jerome seemed amused. "And when was this decided, G?"
"Right now." Mitch stood up, looking around the room. "Who's coming? I'm starving."
Slowly, everyone stood up, stretching and groaning. Ty and Jason were asleep, with Ty's head on his shoulder, and Jason's on top of Ty's.
"I'm down." Ian glanced at Jason and Ty. "Can someone wake those two up?"
"I've got it." Adam bent down a little so he was eye level with the snoozing males. He blew softly in Jason's face, making his nose twitch. He did it again, and Jason opened his eyes, looking cross. Adam shushed him quickly. "Shh. Don't wake Ty up."
Jason nodded, eyes wide. He carefully maneuvered out, holding Ty's head in his hands. "What do I do?" He whispered.
Adam hesitated before motioning for him to scoot over. Adam took his place, letting Ty's head rest on his shoulder now, wrapping an arm around the dozing boy.
"You two staying?" Mitch questioned.
Adam nodded softly, careful not to move too much.
"Alright. Keep an eye on Matt." And with that, they left, locking the door behind them.
They were alone. Other than Seto, who was in his room. Seto wasn't alone up there, he knew that for a fact. He had let Brice in earlier.
Movement snapped him back to reality. Ty was still sleeping, but he was shifting, snuggling up against Adam. The sleeping boy sighed, falling back into his deep slumber.
He needs the sleep. Adam thought to himself. He's been up so late every night with Matthew.
Adam could feel his eyelids growing heavy. And before long, he was asleep himself.
---
Ty awoke with a startled squeak. This wasn't Jason...! Who was cuddled up with him right now? He only panicked further when he realized it was Adam.
Adam stirred, blinking open his eyes. His vision was blurry from sleep. He was a bit out of it. He stopped holding onto Ty and stretched, yawning. "God, what time is it?" He muttered, checking his phone. 8:00. They had left at 6:30. They're probably drunk somewhere...
"Uh, Ty?" Adam looked at his friend, who's face was a deep shade of red. "You okay?"
"I'm fine." Ty turned away, drumming his fingers lightly on his thigh. "Um... where is everyone?"
"Went out for dinner. Sorry we didn't tell you. I didn't want them to wake you up." Adam shrugged.
"Oh."
It was quiet after that. They sat in an awkward silence until heavy footsteps came thumping down the stairs.
"Put me down!" The squeal was followed by laughter. "Brice! Stop it!"
Brice appeared, with Seto thrown over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He grinned at Adam and Ty. "I hope you two don't mind if I steal him for a while."
"Be my guest." Adam replied, watching in amusement as Brice carried the boy out the door. "Well. There goes Matthew. Wonder when we'll see him again?"
Ty simply shrugged. Hopefully never.
It wasn't meant to be rude. Ty was fond of the teenager. But honestly? It'd be best if Brice just took Seto. Mitch had practically confined him to his room, and he had to wake up early and stay up late if he wanted a chance to eat. It was cruel. He'd be better off with someone who cares.
"Ty? You're daydreaming. Wake up." Adam laughed, waving his hand in front of Ty's face. The brunette shook his head a few times, startled.
"What? Oh. Sorry." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes. "Still a bit tired."
"Hey, Ty,"
"Mm?" Ty replied, yawning. He was still a bit sleepy. For some reason, when he was tired, he acted semi-normal around Adam. His crush seemed to just disappear, and it was just his best friend again.
"Nevermind." Adam said, grinning cheekily.
"Tell me."
"Nope! I forgot!"
"Tell me before I hit you, Adam." Ty threatened.
"Hit me?" Adam laughed. "You're too small to hurt me, Ty. It'd feel like a butterfly landing on my arm."
Ty raised his eyebrows. "Wanna test that theory?" He liked this. The playful side of Adam. They used to always act like this together...
"Sure." Adam smirked. "Go on. Hit me, tough guy."
Ty went to punch him in the arm, only to have a hand close around his wrist. Adam grabbed both of his wrists in one hand, holding them together, and started tickling him with his free hand. Ty immediately started squealing and struggling, becoming a giggling mess. It was almost pitiful how ticklish he was.
"Sto-op it! That's c-cheating!" Ty gasped for breath.
"Not so tough now, are we?" Adam teased, his eyes shining. "Who's the tough guy now, hmm?"
"Stop it!" Ty kicked at him, but Adam was relentless. Ty was practically crying with laughter by now. He managed to wrestle his hands free, and started batting Adam's hands away. "No! No more tickles!"
"Don't tell me what to do." Adam said in a serious tone, then stuck his tongue out childishly. "I'm in charge here! I'm stronger, therefore I'm in charge."
"You are not!" Ty argued, pushing Adam's hands away again. "I'm stronger than you!"
"Oh, really?" That signature smirk was back. He shoved Ty so the boy fell backwards onto the couch, climbing over him quickly. He straddled the boy's stomach, sitting on top of him and pinning him to the couch by the wrists. "You're stronger, hmm? Okay. Prove it."
This snapped Ty out of it. Everything came flooding back to him, and he found himself speechless. The playfulness was gone from his gaze, now full of sheer terror. A blush was already making its way across his face, and he couldn't even stutter out a word.
"What's wrong, cat got your tongue?" Adam teased. There was a certain twinkle in his eyes that told Ty he knew exactly what he was doing. "I thought you said you were strong, Ty." Adam shifted forward, leaning over so his face was close to Ty's. "Thought you were stronger than me, hmm?"
"G-get off." Ty managed to get out. His heart was pounding, and his body felt hot. He didn't like the closeness between them, yet he loved it at the same time. He wanted to be closer. He wanted Adam to hold him as-
He was suddenly flipped over, the world spinning around him. He found himself sitting on Adam's chest, with Adam on the couch below him. "Oh, wow. Look at that! You got me, Ty." Adam laughed, unaware of the thoughts running through Ty's mind. Actually, he was fully aware of what he was thinking.
"I-"
"Congratulations! You winnnn the wrestling match!" Adam cut him off, using an obnoxious announcer voice. "Ready for your prize?"
"Adam-"
"Okay! Here it is!" One hand cupped the back of his head, the other on his cheek. He was pulled down, as Adam pushed himself up. He barely had time to react before he was being kissed.
He swore he could feel sparks flying. It was indescribable. Everything he had ever dreamed of, but at the same time... It just didn't feel real.
He was more than happy to keep kissing Adam, though, even if it meant nothing to the other male. He tilted his head to deepen the kiss, expecting Adam to shove him away. Instead, Adam gladly went along with this, kissing him back just as forcefully.
They somehow ended up standing up, with Ty's legs wrapped around Adam's waist as Adam held him. Ty's back was against the wall, and he was all but pinned. He was fine with this, though. He didn't really care, as long as he got to keep making out with his best friend...
The creaking of a door made Ty freeze, but Adam didn't seem bothered.
"Adam," Ty slurred out, words muffled by his friend's lips. "Someone's home, Adam."
"Don't care." He muttered back, keeping his eyes shut firmly as he continued kissing Ty.
If this didn't stop soon, someone was going to see them... And judging by how everyone freaked out when Seto said he was gay... he could only imagine how they'd react when they saw them kissing.
"Adam? Ty?" It was Mitch's voice. Faint, but getting closer.
That was it. Ty turned his head sharply, breaking off the kiss. "Adam. Adam. They're home." He repeated, looking him straight in the eye.
Adam seemed a bit dazed. He blinked slowly, staring at Ty. Realization flashed across his face. He let go of Ty, pretty much dropping him, backing up quickly. "Wha-I-This never happened. Got it? This didn't happen. I-it was an accident."
Ty, feeling hurt, opened his mouth to reply, but was stopped short. Adam looked absolutely terrified. His eyes were teary, and his quick breathing wasn't only from their makeout session. Ty had never seen him so scared.
"Adam. It's okay. We were just playing around, right?" He forced out a laugh, for Adam's sake. "No homo bro!" He added. Every word sent pain stabbing through his heart.
"Right." Adam relaxed, giving Ty a shaky smile. "Just part of our game. I-I'm going to go wash up, okay?" He couldn't of left any faster.
Ty raised a hand to touch his swollen lips when Adam was gone. But it did happen, Adam. You can't change that, accident or not.
And then he started to cry.
