Octavia and Vinyl Scratch were roommates. Octavia played the cello and Vinyl used a beatbox. They were musicians.
Octavia was a fancy Earthpony. She liked
Sophistication and glamour. She played at the Grand Galloping Gala every year! Octavia was a slow melody type of pony, too. She didn't like rock and roll, or 'Wubs', like Vinyl did.
Vinyl Scratch was one rocking Unicorn! She washes the dishes every morning with wubs, and she enjoys a good prank- especially when she's pulling it on Octavia!
One day, both ponies were sitting by the lake for a picnic. "I'll go get the food." Vinyl said, walking over to the large basket packed by Octavia.
Out of nowhere, Vinyl heard a 'Splash!' and she saw Octavia's tail go down in the water and a hooded unicorn standing there, hoof outstretched in a pushing motion, and an evil grin plastered on her face.
Vinyl ripped the good off her head.
"DUSK THREAD!!!!" Vinyl punched the murderer and yelled,
"OCTAVIA!" She cannonballed into the water.
A bright light shined above the water, and vinyl quickly reached back and jerked her hand down. FIRE!!! She swam down I find her drowning and unconscious friend in vain.
Vinyl's lungs burned like fire. Dusk Thread started throwing things in the water, and as vinyl sank to the bottom, she grabbed Octavia.
A rock slammed the white unicorn on the head, making blood rise in the water. Vinyl's lungs felt like they were being torn with knives.
Knowing it was the end, vinyl threw Octavia up to land, and pulling herself up, she closed her eyes and gave way towards eternal darkness.
