Lyra was very scared. Many ponies were dying, and somepony just killed Princess Celestia! The pony was anonymous, but she came from Ponyville. She was worried she would be next.
Without Lyra, who would believe in Humans?! Nopony would! Lyra was terrified. Everyday, she are fully opened her window just a crack to make sure no murderers were waiting for her outside. Every step she took was full of Paranoia.
One day, she was lookin through the paper when it read that Dusk Thread had invented a car. It worked on fuel, like a train. It said that today it would be tested at noon outside of Ponyville.
This made Lyra forget all her fears and she went outside an hour early to relax. But, suddenly, the car came to be tested early. Lyra ran across the street as fast as she could. Lyra tripped on a rock and fell. She saw the car speed up and it ran her over, crushing her beneath the wheels.
Bon Bon heard the "Crunch!" And she went outside to investigate. She saw the body of Lyra Heartstrings, her roommate, best friend, and partner, on the ground, her spine and ribs an neck broken.
" LYRA!!!!" She yelled in sadness.
