Rainbow: HELP ME!!!

Lightning Dust continued wrapping vines around Rainbow Dash.

Lightning: Once I'm through with you, no one will tell me what to do!

Rainbow: Sunset! Twilight! Do something!

No one knew what to do, the vines had covered Rainbow Dash completely by then. Lightning Dust continued her attempted to destroy the camp. The girls had no choice but to fight back.

Pinkie: For Dashie!!!!

Pinkie charged without thinking and instantly got caught.

Lightning: Rainbow Dash faced her doom, now you can all face yours!

Pinkie: Aah! Help!

Rarity: That won't be happening!

Fluttershy: Yeah, you big bully!

Rarity tossed a diamond to slice the vines, freeing Pinkie. Unfortunately, the vines continued growing.

Pinkie: What do we do?

Fluttershy: I-I don't know!

Applejack: Me neither!

Applejack tried tearing the vines apart with her strength, that didn't work either. Pinkie Pie tried tossing sprinkles, some vines tore apart, yet continued growing.

Pinkie: Ugh! We need Dashie!

Rainbow Dash was still trapped in the vines, Pinkie tossed sprinkles at them, freeing Rainbow Dash who suddenly collapsed. Twilight caught her before she could hit the ground. She lay motionless, eyes closed. Worst of all, her color was slowly fading.

Twilight: Rainbow...

Rainbow Dash slightly opened her eyes.

Rainbow: Twilight...? I...can't...do it.

Twilight: Rainbow Dash, you can!

Rainbow Dash started to close her eyes.

Twilight: Rainbow, don't!

Rainbow: Just...go without me.

Twilight: No, we need you!

Lightning: You should be worrying about yourselves, Rainbow Crash can't help you!

More vines continued to spread, the girls tried to fight back, but they were outnumbered.

Sunset: Rainbow Dash, c'mon, get up! We need you! 

Twilight: You've gotta be stronger than Rainstorm Dash is!

Inside Rainbow Dash's mind, she floated helplessly, then Rainstorm Dash appeared and let out a sinister laugh.

Rainstorm: You can never control me! I'll always be a part of you!

She zoomed into Rainbow Dash. Wings appeared on her back, and a horn appeared on her forehead. Her eyes turned blue.

Rainbow: NO!!!!

Then, Twilight appeared.

Twilight: Rainbow Dash, listen! You are in charge!

Soon, all her friends were giving her words of encouragement.

Rarity: We need you, darling. We're broken without you!

Sunset: If Twilight could break through, so can you!

Fluttershy: You can do it, Rainbow Dash! We have faith in you!

Pinkie: You've got this, Dashie!

Applejack: Don't you fret, Rainbow! We're here for you!

Rainbow Dash looked at her friends and focused on herself.

Twilight: You are not Rainstorm Dash!

Rainbow Dash tried all she could to break through, her eyes turned magenta again. It was working.

Rainbow: I'm not Rainstorm Dash...I'm...I'm Rainbow Dash! And the true magic within me is...the Magic of Friendship!!

It worked, the wings and horn disappeared. Back in the real world, Rainbow Dash began to glow, her color returned and she was forced off the ground. Then she did something she hasn't done in a long time: she ponied up and sprang into action!

Lightning: What? How? My vines are stronger!

Rainbow: I broke through with the help of my friends! I'm not letting you destroy Camp Everfree, Lightning Dust! 

Pinkie: Whoo-hoo!!! Go Rainbow Dash!!!

Applejack: C'mon, let's help!

Everyone fought against Lightning Dust.

Lightning: So you kept everything from me? Even this new you?

Rainbow: I knew you'd get jealous and I know you hate me! Getting revenge on me'll just make you feel worse, y'know!

Lightning: Ugh! I can't believe you! What other secrets are you hiding?

A vine tied Rainbow Dash up.

Rainbow: Hey! What gives?

Lightning: I just want to be rid of you for good!

Rainbow Dash broke free.

Rainbow: Get over it! I probably have a lot of things I never told you, but with my friends by my side, we'll defeat you!

Applejack: You tell 'er, Rainbow Dash!

Lightning Dust swatted at Rainbow Dash, knocking her to the ground. Then, she pulled more vines out and shot them towards her. Rarity quickly got in front of her and shielded her.

Twilight: You've got this, Rainbow Dash!

Rainbow: No, we've got this!

The girls got together and grew stronger, along with their magic.

The Magic of Friendship was stronger than Lightning Dust's dark magic, the girls were able to overpower her.

Lightning: No! No! Stop!!!

Soon, everything stopped. The vines disappeared and Lightning Dust was changed back to normal. The girls got into a group hug.

Pinkie: Rainbow Dash, you did it!

Rainbow: No, Pinkie. We did it, I couldn't have done it without you guys.

Twilight: Same here, Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash looked over at Lightning Dust who was sitting down, frustrated. She went to go talk to her.

Rainbow: Um, Lightning Dust?

Lightning: What do you want, Crash?

Rainbow Dash offered her a hand.

Rainbow: You know what you did was very risky, right?

Lightning: *sigh* Right.

Rainbow: You could've gotten hurt out there.

Lightning: Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?

Rainbow Dash gave Lightning Dust a hug.

Rainbow: Course I can, I've been there. Does this mean we're friends again?

Lightning Dust broke the hug.

Lightning: Uh, no. We're still rivals! The fact that you forgave me doesn't make us friends again.

Rainbow: Uh...okay.

Lightning Dust walked away.

Pinkie: That was ironic.

Fluttershy: You think she'll ever come back?

Rainbow: I hope she does, 'cause if so, then she might want to be friends again...

Pinkie: Yay! We saved the day once again!
