"I'm not the jealous type, but what's mine is mine. End of story"

Natasha carefully turned the pages of Twist Me by Anna Zaires. It was a thrilling book based on two people falling in love, it was one of Natasha's new favorites, given that a certain someone had taken her favorite book away from her, but it's okay it didn't matter. He could take all of that hers.

Natasha had wanted nothing more than a proper meeting with her knight, her prince. A meeting, a date, something. Something that she deserved. But in order to do that, she had to take care of little Gail's problem. She would tend to that problem today.

What she didn't anticipate happening was Steve walking through the doors of her book shop with Gail right behind him. Their hands connected and she's never felt such a fit of anger rise within her.

This woman had her hands on him, her hands on Natasha's prince. It's not fair! Why does someone who was so wrong for her, deserve to even look at him. It's not fair! He was perfect. And she was Gail.

"Natasha!" Steve's sweet voice filled her ears, it almost calmed her down but not nearly enough.

"Hi Steve," She smiled.

"This is my girlfriend-"

"Gail." Natasha finished. Steve looked at her confused. "I uh messaged her last night, I didn't know she was your girlfriend."

"It's so nice to meet you!" Gail practically squealed, putting her hand out to shake. Natasha looks at her, taking a moment before shaking the girl's hand. "I was so happy to get your message, you see I love little places like this."

"I can't wait for you to see it." Natasha faked. She watched as Gail looked around, immediately pulling out her phone. Can't she see there is a world before her, a world that doesn't need to be talked about every single day? "Please take a look around," Gail only smiled already off in her little world.

"So you on social media often?"

"Sometimes," She shrugged. "My friend suggested if I want to keep this place open that I need to do some promotional things, I am not an expert. I actually messaged quite a few people, your girlfriend was the only person to answer."

"Well I know Gail has a bit of a following so hopefully it will help business." he gave her such a charming smile, the one of kind smile that only a select few people in the world can pull off. Steve was smitten, not with Gail, but with her and Natasha could tell. Steve was practically begging her to take care of Gail. "Hey," He spoke over to Gail, "I have to get over to the studio you going to be okay?"

"I will be fine lover boy," Loverboy? Natasha couldn't imagine that being the best pet name for her to come up with. Natasha watched as Steve kissed her cheek, a sign of love but a sign to Natasha that he was keeping her at arm's length.

"I will see you tomorrow Nat?" Nat? Oh. She loved that he did that, said her name with such ease like they had been friends forever. He didn't have that with Gail. He had it with her.

"I will be here," She promised. Steve left and Natasha watched him go. Watched him give her one last smile to make her heart flutter. But she couldn't help but feel a wave of anger rise in her. How was she supposed to enjoy those small moments if this woman was in her way? Something had to be done.

"You know," Gail said walking up to Natasha. "While I love it in here, I think you could update a few parts."

"Like what?" Natasha asked, uninterested.

"You know," She shrugged. "Maybe add a TV or a few computers." Computers? It was a fucking book store. Women like her were so dense in Natasha's mind. There was beauty beyond a screen. You just had to be willing to look, like her and Steve.

"Maybe," She decided to say instead. "Hey, can I ask you something,"

"Sure," Gail smiled.

"How did you and Steve meet?"

"Oh!" She said with a smile. "You know the usual I was walking around a museum and literally ran into him" She continued to talk but Natasha could hear her. She was already thinking about how perfect it was, the artist goes to museums. It was beautiful. Natasha smiled at the thought.

This morning Natasha had gotten a file from Pietro, Wanda's brother, she had contacted him and asked for information. Gail Richards was a perfect girl, her father of a rich CEO, and a social media influencer. Besides saying the wrong things online there was nothing too damaging. So she couldn't get rid of her in that way. While she was a bit self-centered, she wasn't the cheating type either. Maybe she needed a more permanent way to get rid of her.

Not here. Not with Steve as a witness, he knew only Natasha was there. With time. She needed a plan.

Gail ended up leaving nearly thirty long minutes later. Give Natasha quite some time to do a little online research as she looked around the shop. Nothing too criminalizing, just ways to get blood out of clothes, a perfectly good explanation would be she was on her period. The good part about being a woman is you can look things up like that.

When Gail left Natasha closed up shop making sure to grab the small gun Maria kept under her desk in case of emergencies and followed her. She kept her distance, learning from her mistakes with Steve. Right when she left, Gail called Steve and told him about the visit. Natasha figured that he didn't get any word in, not when Gail kept speaking every second.

After the call, Gail took the metro into the city. Natasha followed, making sure her face was covered. Natasha decided two things while following the woman. One, Gail was utterly boring and two, she can't be away from the media for more than 10 minutes at a time. She goes to yoga for a little over an hour, which Natasha knows she lived streamed after being notified. Then she goes to a god-awful smoothie bar. How could she even stomach that?

She was utterly boring that Natasha was about to leave when a man walks up to Gail. He was tall, nearly as tall as Steve, and even from where she was standing in the distance she can see the outline of his arms. He was no Steve though. Natasha raised an eyebrow as he rubbed Gail's arm up and down.

The brunette man leaned down whispering something in her ear. She lets out a giggle. Natasha then had to watch as she looked up wrapping her arms around his neck, bringing him down for a kiss. Now she was angry. She had Steve. She had the man that belong to her and yet she was throwing it all away.

She couldn't look away as the man dragged them into a car. No movement. The car was stopped. This was her moment. Natasha looked around and walked over to the car, windows were tinted but she could hear them. Pulled with utter rage she opened the door to the car.

"What the hell!" The man screamed, his pants on the ground.

"Natasha!" Gail screamed nearly as horrified. Natasha could see Gail catching her breath, trying to explain herself, but Natasha couldn't hear them. Her ears rang as she failed to control her anger. How dare she treat Steve like this. Suddenly she couldn't help but let off the gun. Gail's voice stopped.

But she wasn't hit. No, Natasha hit the man straight in the head.
"Brock?" She cried, as if this man meant something to her, over Steve. Over the perfectly good man, she already had. "Please don't kill me," Gail said now looking at her. Natasha stared her down and reached near her. The bitch flinched. Natasha almost smirked. But she stopped herself. She grabbed the fallen keys, making sure the child locks on both doors were on before jumping in the front seat. "Where are you taking me?"

Natasha ignored her. She watched in the mirror as Gail attempted to open the car. She started the car and began to drive. "Don't worry Steve," She said to herself. "I will take care of her."
