Ever since Natasha got pregant, Steve was constantly near her, always making sure she was okay and most importantly, always feeling her belly to hope for the first kick.

Nat was only 4 months pregant, so the possibility of the baby kicking was rather slim.

The couple was additionally discussing baby names early on.

Though they didn't know the gender yet, Natasha dreamt of having a daughter.

She wanted the baby to be healthy of course, but she certainly wouldn't be sad if it turned out to be a girl.

,,Look, Lubov has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?"

The redhead pointed to a name in a book that she and Steve were skimming through.

,,We don't even know the gender and all you do is look at girl names. What if our little light turns out to be a boy?"

Steve joked, his hand, once again, resting on his girlfriends stomach.

Natasha cracked a soft smile. She was more than excited for her little light to finally arrive.

,,If it turns out to be a boy, we could still pick out a name for him. I just kinda have a feeling that the little one is a girl"

She explained, her gaze fixated on her boyfriends eyes.

Steve gave her an affectionate smile.

,,Lubov does sound good, but what if we name her Alena? Alena Lubov maybe?"

He suggested softly.

Natashas gaze softened even more. She loved the name.

Why? It was perfect for their little light because Alena meant, well, Light and Lubov meant Love.

,,Its perfect"

She smiled before planting a soft kiss onto her boyfriends lips.

....

Another month flew by in no time and Natasha started to show. The baby bump had grown rapidly and you could definitely tell she was pregnant now.

Although she loved being pregnant, one thing she loathed was the constant need to pee.

So, one beautiful Sunday, Steve and Natasha went for a walk in the park.

,,Hold on, I need the toilet real quick"

The assasin informed as she saw the bathroom nearby.

Steve nodded and stopped walking.

Natasha pushed her purse into her boyfriends hand before rushing off to the bathroom.

5 minutes later she returned and the couple resumed walking.

They only got so far until Nat needed another bathroom break.

Steve found it rather amusing.

,,Okay I'm done we can go"

Natasha informed after returning.

Steve chuckled.

,,What, you're not the one to have someone tapdancing on your bladder, do you?"

The redhead questioned, her lips curled into a slight smile.

,,No, I admit, I don't. Just four more months to go, then our little light won't be dancing on your bladder anymore"

He admitted, his hand placed onto her growing belly.

,,Can't wait to meet her"

Natasha responded softly while sending Steve an affectionate look.

He smirked.

,,We still don't know the gender, Nat"

The supersoldier teased while feeling for the little ones kick.

,,I know it's a girl. I can feel it"

The assasin responded stubbornly.

Little did both of them know that Natasha would be right.

,,Cmon Nat, we need to leave. Your appointment is at three"

Steve shouted through the compound, waiting for his girlfriend to finish.

,,Give me a sec. Little light is pressing on my bladder again"

Natasha shouted back. She definitely wouldn't miss the constant need to pee.

Little light was an active baby, even in the womb. Always kicking and messing up her Mom's sleep schedule.

But, Natasha wouldn't trade it for the world. She loved to feel her baby be alive inside her.

,,Natasha, hurry"

Steve stressed once more.

The assasin finally finished her trip to the bathroom and appeared next to her boyfriend.

,,Okay let's go. Honestly Steve, we're always late because of you"

She scolded jokingly, knowing damn well that it was her fault they were late.

The supersoldier cracked a smile as he held open the door for his girlfriend.

Said girlfriend slipped out of the building, followed by him.

The couple was about to find out the gender of their baby.

Time and time again, they said they didn't care, but secretly they both wished for a girl.

That didn't mean they wouldn't be just as excited if it turned out to be a boy of course.

After all, the most important thing for both parents was, that their child was healthy.

So, the couple arrived at the gynecologists just ten minutes later.

Natasha was now plopped onto the lounger, ready for the doctors examination.

Steve sat next to her on a chair.

,,Are you excited to find out?"

The assasin asked, her hand tightly grasping her boyfriends.

,,Yea, very. I mean, I hope little light is healthy, but if I had to make a decision on the gender, you know I'd really want a little girl"

He explained with a fond smile on his face.

Natasha sent him a soft smile.

,,A little girl would be amazing. I mean, I already think little light is a girl so"

She added as she placed one hand on her growing bump.

The gynecologist entered the room swiftly.

,,Miss Romanoff, Mister Rogers, you ready ro find out the gender of your child?"

The kind woman asked softly.

Both parents exchanged a look before nodding.

The gynecologist got to work, pulling up the ultrasound of their child.

She looked at the screen, checking for any issues.

,,Your baby is completely healthy. Quite active while we're at it. Now for the big reveal"

The woman explained, a cheerful smile on her face.

Natasha gripped Steve's hand tighter.

Both parents looked at their gynecologist in excitement.

,,Congrats, you'll be having a little girl"

She finally revealed.

,,Told you so"

Nat grinned softly at her boyfriend. He just smiled.

The both of them couldn't be happier to finally call their daughter a 'she' instead of always referring to her as 'it' or 'the baby'.

Though let's be real, Natasha always knew and had been calling her daughter a 'she' for a long time.

A/N: Helloo, I've just decided to fit this into two parts. This is three mini oneshots in one and part two will be newborn Alenas first moments like first smile ect.
