• The Next Morning , 10 p.m. ; The Powers Kitchen •

~ Maddie's POV ~

" Hey guys , it's me ShortPencilCrayons here and today I am here with Mitchell in the Powers kitchen " I whispered , starting my intro .

" Why I am whispering you may ask ? Well , Lachlan's sleeping right now and Mitch and I are going to try and play a prank on him " I explained to the camera .

" Everyone knows that Lachlan loves Chipotle but there are none in Brisbane . So we decided to make a homemade chipotle bowl for him " Mitch informed .

" But , we are going to add hot chilli pepper powder and see how he survives " I added , flashing a smile .

I turned the camera to face Mitchell . " Care to explain the rest Mitch ? You know , since you're the master mind behind this plan ".

" Okay , so here we have everything we need to make this bowl " Mitch stated , showcasing all the ingredients on the island .

" We have rice , chicken , lettuce , onions , corn , tomatoes , beets and lastly our powder " he said , holding up each bowl as he announced them .

I turned the camera back on me . " Now , we get to the fun part . Putting it together " I smirked .

• Few Minutes Later ; After Putting Everything Together •

" Okay , so we put everything together and now I'm going to wake up Lachlan . Let's see how this goes " I whispered .

I turned the camera towards his bedroom door before opening it .

Lachlan was still sleeping peacefully , his face buried into his pillow ; wrapped up in his blankets like a caterpillar in a cocoon .

I climbed onto the bed , trying my best to let the viewers see what's going on .

" Lachy " I called out .

He let out a groan in reply , gripping the blankets tightly .

" Lachlan , wake up " I called again , pointing his bare back .

" What ? " he mumbled from his place on the pillow .

" I have a surprise for you ".

Lachlan rolled over to face me ; slightly opening his eyes . " Really ? ".

I nodded , running my fingers through his messy quiff . " It has something to do with Chipotle ".

His eyes shot open instantly , full of excitement ." Really ? ".

" Yeah , wake up " I ordered , poking his arm .

Lachlan let out a yawn before stretching .

" Why are you recording me ? " he asked curiously .

" I'm just vlogging " I lied , shrugging .

" Stop recording me " Lachlan groaned , lowering down the camera in my hands before unrolling himself from the blankets .

After Lachlan had gotten ready , we made our way downstairs to the kitchen ; me getting everything on flim .

" Surprise ! " Mitch greeted as we entered the kitchen .

Lachlan gave me a smile as he looked at the homemade Chipotle bowl on the island in front of him .

" You made this for me ? " Lachlan asked as he gave me a kiss on the cheek .

" With the help of Mitch " I pointed out .

" Thank you guys " Lachlan smiled .

" Bon appetite " Mitch spoke , handing Lachlan a fork .

I stood next to Mitch as I zoomed in on Lachlan's face .

He dug into the meal causing the both of us to stay silent .

" How is it ? " I spoke up .

" Good . Reall- " he stopped mid sentence .

Mitch and I broke out into laughter as Lachlan quickly raced over to the garbage can , spitting out the food in his mouth .

" I can't believe you guys ! I generally thought you two had made me a nice meal ! " Lachlan cried , his face a little red .

"  Surprise ! " I repeated before laughing again .

Lachlan shot us both a dirty look before going over to the fridge .

" Very funny " he said in a monotone voice , grabbing out the glass of milk we prepared in advance .

Lachlan crumbled up the note we left on the glass that read " Thought you might need this " and threw it bitterly in the garbage .

" Did you enjoy it Lachlan ? " Mitchell asked .

" I actually rate it 8/8 . Top bants " Lachlan said sarcastically, curling his fingers into the point sign .

" Glad you enjoyed it " I said , flashing him a fake smile .

" Don't think this is over . I will get you back " Lachlan warned , looking at the both of us .

Mitchell crossed his arms over his chest . " Sure , your pranks suck and always backfire " he stated , rolling his eyes at Lachlan .

" This time I can reassure you it won't backfire and you two will never see it coming " Lachlan countered .

" I'm so scared " I mocked sarcastically , shaking my hands in the air .

" Fine , don't believe me " Lachlan sniffed , storming dramatically out of the kitchen .

I shook my head before turning the camera towards me .

I looked up from my place crossed legged on his bed to see him standing causally in the doorway .

" Um yeah . Might as well get some fresh air on my last day here " I admitted .

" I'm going to start getting ready " he announced , grabbing his towel and heading towards his bathroom .

He slammed the door behind him before I turned back to texting Violet .
