~ Maddie's POV ~

" Thanks for watching . Please like , comment and subscribe if you are new to my channel and enjoy my content ! Bai ! " I said , doing my outro .

I stopped the recording before taking off my headset .

Now to edit and then get it up on the channel for tomorrow .

" Maddie ! Dinner is ready ! " Mitch yelled from downstairs .

I removed myself away from the three glowing monitors in my face and started to head down the carpeted stairs down towards the kitchen where dinner was waiting .

As I entered the kitchen , the delicious aroma of spaghetti and meatballs filled my nostrils .

" Something smells good " I commented , having a seat at the island along with Jerome and Ryan .

" Yeah , sure does " Ryan added .

" Here Maddie " Mitch said , sliding a plate of spaghetti and meatballs along with a fork in my direction .

I gratefully took the plate , immediately digging in .

As I chewed on my spaghetti , I noticed everyone was looking at me closely .

" Aren't you guys going to eat ? " I asked , arching a eyebrow .

" Um , yeah " Mitch spoke up quickly , heading back towards the stove .

I stabbed my fork into a meatball , taking a bite out of it .

I glanced back over to the boys who were almost at the edge of their seats ; trying to hold in laughter .

" What's wrong with yo - ". I stopped mid sentence as a burning sensation thrilled throughout my mouth .

The boys burst out into laughter and I instantly understood what was going on .

" You guys are such dicks ! " I cried , getting up from my seat , fanning my mouth .

" Gottie ! " Mitch laughed , quoting the famous vine trend .

They all continued to laugh as I frantically grabbed milk from the fridge and a clean glass nearby .

" What , did you even put in my meatballs ? " I asked in between sips of milk .

" The hot sauce that mom sent for us " Mitch smiled , holding up the bottle .

" You guys are so annoying " I yelled , setting my glass down on the counter .

" So , Maddie . You gonna finish the spaghetti and meatballs ? " Ryan smirked .

" Fuck you " I snapped before turning on my heel and storming out of kitchen .

• Next Morning , 3 a.m. ; Maddie's Bedroom •

The glowing screen of my MacBook illuminating my dark bedroom .

Why do I find myself reading this negative opinions ?

Once again , I found myself scrolling through hate .

A single tear slipped my cheek . I wiped it away harshly .

I know it's not healthy to read such things but I can't help it . It's as addictive as nicotine .

Suddenly , my phone vibrated from its place on the bedside table .

I arched a eyebrow .

Who would text me at this time of night ?

I reached over for the phone , ripping it off of the charger .

I plugged my phone back into the charger before shutting down my laptop and pushing it to a side .

I pulled the blankets over my body and cuddled into my fluffy pillows before drifting off into the darkness of my mind .

A/N :

I suck at writing calm , relaxing chapters . I wanted to just show what life is like when Maddie isn't hanging out with friends and stuff in these last few chapters but they are now coming to a end . I swear . And it's gonna get hot and spicy ;)
