~ Lachlan's POV ~

• Second Last Day Of PAX •

Preston and I had just finished recording a vlog of us opening CSGO boxes and were just laying around my hotel room .

" Sooo , you and Maddie huh ? " Preston asked and I sat up straight , shaking my head .

" Noooo , brah , nah " I protested , laughing nervously .

" Lachlan , don't you be a freakin pleb , we all know you like her " Preston laughed .

" No , we are just ... getting to know each other " I said slowly .

Were we even friends ? I mean , we talk and stuff but I wouldn't say I know her enough to call her my ' friend '.

" Sureee . And I guess getting to know a person is to dance with them ? Are you like getting to know her dance moves or something ? Planning to like do a ... mexican dance contest with her ? " Preston joked and I grabbed a pillow , throwing it at him before going back to my phone .

" I don't have a crush on her or anything . That just wouldn't be cool , she's Mitch's sister and Mitch is one of my best buddy's , you can't just date your best friends sister " I explained .

" I think you should remind yourself when you are with her , just saying little lachy ".

~ Mitch's POV ~

I have a feeling that there's something going on between Maddie and Lachlan .

Yesterday , it seemed like Lachlan couldn't keep his hands off her and it was kinda bothering me .

Great , I'm starting to sound like dad .

Well technically I was suppose to make sure Maddie was okay throughout this trip and so far , I'll be doing my job but Lachlan ... I don't know what's going on between the two .

Are they dating behind my back or something ? How can they do that ?

So , I decided to really ask Maddie about it and hopefully get a good answer .

" Okay Maddie , we are talking right now and the questions I am going to ask you , you better give me the cold and honest truth " I said firmly as I walked straight into her bedroom .

She raised a eyebrow at me as I stood at the edge of her bed , arms crossed , a straight look on my face .

" Okay , shoot " she replied , closing her laptop and sitting up in bed .

" What's going on between you and Lachlan ? " I asked blankly .

" Nothing ".

" Oh no , don't you dare tell me nothing . I thought I said honest answers Maddie " I said sighing .

" Mitch , that's the honest answer " she said simply .

" Madeline Elizabeth Hughes , I am going to ask you again , what's going on between you and Lachlan ? " I pushed .

She laughed . " God Mitch , your starting to sound like mom . I thought you were my brother ".

" I am your brother . Thats why I want to know , what's going on between you and Lachlan " I said .

" Nothing Mitch ! What are you trying to say ? That we are dating or something ? " she asked , getting a little angry .

" No , well ... do you like him ? " I asked .

" No ! Well , I don't know . He seems like a nice guy and all ... ".

" No , god no ! You can't think that about one of my best buddies ! " I asked , making a face .

" What ? Thinking someone is a nice is nothing bad . Do you want me to call him rude ? ".

" No , but you totally have a crush on him " I said .

" No ! I didn't say that ! All I said was that he was a nice guy ! " she protested quickly .

" Your nose told me otherwise when you were blushing all over the place " I stated .

" Like you don't blush when you see a cute girl " she rolled her eyes at me .

" You just called Lachlan cute ! " I cried .

" I so didn't ! " she whined .

" So did ! You can't date him you know that right ? ".

" Excuse me ? Why not ? ".

" Because Maddie , that's not cool ! You can't just date one of my best friends . That's like dating Jerome " I stated .

" So ? I can date whoever I want . I didn't say you couldn't date Jess " she pointed out .

" That's different , Jessica wasn't one of your best friends . You don't see me dating Amanda " I snapped .

" Ew ! " she winced .

" Exactly , that's what I think whenever I think of the two of you dating ".

" Stop being such a drama king . I don't even know if Lachlan even thinks of me that way " she sighed .

I could tell it was bothering her more than it was bothering me . Maddie hasn't really had a real relationship with any boy ever .

The only people she can really talk to is her family , me (her brother) , Amanda and her youtube fans .

I remember sometimes she was so lonely in high school ( Amanda and her had different classes ) that she would talk make video entries and post them on Youtube and that's the only way any of us would know whats bothering her ( A/N: Making Maddie a vlogger/gamer youtuber if that's even possible ) .

I guess Youtube was her getaway and well , lucky for her , it became her career .

" Maddie , as much I hate to say this but I hope that you find someone special in your life and if you think that person is Lachlan , the go to it . But I swear if things go downhill then I get to say I told you so " I said .

She rolled her eyes at me once again . " Your acting like Lachlan and I are dating or something ".

" I feel in my gut " I said , putting my fist to my chest .

" Or maybe that's just all the food you ate at breakfast " she smirked .

• At PAX •

~ Maddie's POV ~

" I'm sorry I didn't really get a vlog this whole trip but I was just really excited and busy because as you guys know I am at PAX for the first time in my whole life ! " I cried into the camera .

I was just making a vlog as The Pack and I were walking around PAX just looking at things .

" I have meet alot of you cool people and this place in amazing actually . In this vlog I will be showing you what PAX looks like , what we are doing and a little bonus clip of Lachlan and I dancing at the Wii station they have here , thank you to my brother Banja Kanda for taking the clip for moi " I said , kissing him on the cheek as he came up beside me .

He slurrped into the camera before racing off towards Jerome who was checking out some Call Of Duty thingy going on .

I explained some stories just as Lachlan came over and rested his head on my shoulder . " Well , hey there Little Lachy " I said , turning my head slightly to look at him .

" Hello Maddie " he said quietly .

" What you doing ? " I asked , looking back at my camera .

" Talking to you " he smirked .

" What do you wanna say to my people before I kick you out of my recording ? " I asked .

" Stay in school kids , you don't wanna be a plebston like Maddie " he laughed and I smacked him playfully on his shoulder before he ran off .

I continued my vlog throughout PAX and Lachlan kept on making appearances .

Does he really like me back ? Is Mitch's predictions coming true ?
