~ Maddie's POV ~

" Lachlan ! Stop it ! Okay , fine ! It's a mandarin and not a clementine ! " I giggled as Lachlan tickled my sides .

I was laughing so hard that my sides hard .

" Shhh ! You don't want Mitch to catch us " he scolded .

I giggled as he climbed off of me , lying down beside me .

He turned on his side to face me . He gave me a smile and I blushed .

Even in the darkness of the room , I could still his perfect bright blue eyes and his messy blonde quiff .

" Lachlan ? I don't want to hide our relationship anymore from the fans " I burst out .

I am tried of having to hide the fact that Lachlan is my boyfriend . We hid it for 5 months now .

I want to be able to hold his hand in public without fearing a fan spotting us . I want to be able to kiss him and let all the other girls around us that I'm his . What's the point in having a boyfriend when you have to completely hide the relationship ?

His smile faded . He let out a big sigh before sitting up ; leaning on his elbow .

" Mads , we agreed on this . My fans are harsh , yours are harsh . I don't want any drama " he protested .

I let out a frustrated groan . " I know but what's the point in having a boyfriend when I can't show you off . I want everyone to know that your mine and only mine ".

I stuck out my bottom lip in a pout .

" Someone's getting jealous " he joked .

I hit his chest playfully . " No ! I'm not jealous ".

" Then we don't need to tell the fans anything ".

" So when will we tell them ? When we are dating for like a year or something ? We can't keep hiding it , the fans will find out somehow " I replied , sitting up and crossing my legs on the bed .

Lachlan crossed his legs beside me . He grabbed my hand , squeezing it softly .

" I just want you to be happy " he sighed .

" I am happy Lachy . I'll be even happier if you trust me on this and let the both of us tell our fans ".

I looked over at him with pleading eyes as he looked down at my hand in his .

He sat there in silence for a few seconds .

Why is it so hard for him to just tell the fans ?

To me , fans are my second family . When I was just starting YouTube , they were the people that helped me through everything .

My parents divorce , relationships with friends , everything .

They love me just as much as my family does and know me almost as much as I do .

Having a boyfriend is something they should most definitely know .

" Will you absolutely promise me that if they are bothering you , you will tell me ? " he asked , looking at me with a serious expression .

" I swear on Preston's cactus " I smiled , placing my hand over my heart .

" Hey ! No swearing on senpei's cactus " he joked , poking my side .

" Okay , I swear on the saltiest of salts ".

" Much better . Now , every salty promise must be sealed with a kiss " Lachlan smirked .

I leaned over and planted a kiss on his cheek .

" The promise has been sealed " he smiled .

I let out a laugh .

• Few Hours Later •

I woke up to the faint smell of eggs and bacon .

Mitch is cooking breakfast , yasssss .

Quickly throwing my blankets to the side , I raced into the bathroom to brush my teeth , wash my face and get rid of my bed head .

Once I got out of the bathroom , I grabbed my phone off my charger and raced downstairs .

I walked into the kitchen with a smile on my face , having a seat on a kitchen counter stool .

" Good morning " Mitch greeted , his back turned away from me .

" Morning " I replied , unlocking my phone .

He grabbed a plate off the dish rack , loading it up with bacon , eggs and fresh strawberries before handing me the plate and a fork .

I immediately picked up my fork and dug into the crispy bacon , just the way I like it .

" This is one of the many reasons as to why I wanted to move in with you . Mom can never make bacon this crispy " I smiled .

Mitch turned off the stove , turning towards me with a serious look on his face .

I know that look anywhere ... He wants to talk about my opinion on something .

" So , what do you think about Jessica ? " he started , giving me a hard stare .

I set my fork down . " She's nice " I replied .

" Okay , but yesterday you seemed like you hated her " he pushed .

" I can't hate someone I haven't heard much about " I snapped .

He raised a eyebrow . " What do you mean by that ? ".

" You never really talk about her as much as you should ".

" What do you mean I don't talk about her ? I talk about her enough ".

I let out a chuckle . " Clearly you don't since I didn't even recognize her until you introduced her to us ".

" You never showed any interest in her so why should I have brought it up ? " he asked .

" It would have been nice to hear about how much you care about her , there's nothing wrong with that " I snapped .

" Where are you going with this ? ".

" Where are you going with this ? ".

We fell silent .

" Good morning " Lachlan greeted , stepping into the kitchen .

The atmosphere in the kitchen changed and Mitch turned back towards the stove .

" Morning " we replied in unison .

Lachlan came down and sat beside me , giving me a kiss on the cheek .

" I have a idea about how to tell the fans " he whispered in my ear .

" How ? " I asked , picking back up my fork .

" I'll tell you later " he smirked .

What's he up to this time ?

" Good Morning " Jerome greeted tiredly .

" Morning , I'm guessing someone didn't sleep well last night " Mitch commented , sliding a plate of breakfast to Lachlan .

" No , not really . Lachlan , next time you and Maddie decide to have a debate on whether its a mandarin or a clementine , remind me to wear ear bids " Jerome snapped , taking a seat .

" We couldn't have been that loud ! " I gasped .

" Oh , you were that loud ".

" Well , Jerome remind me to wear ear bids when you and Alyssa are having the time our your lives in that bedroom of yours " Lachlan snapped , popping a strawberry into his mouth .

We all burst out laughing as Jerome blushed like crazy .
