~ Maddie's POV ~

I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail and applied my water-proof mascara .

Mitch is hosting a pool party and there are a lot of people downstairs right now .

I quickly looked out the window down below and saw Mitch grilling food and a bunch of people in bikinis and shorts playing around the pool , drinking and just in general having fun .

This is not so bad of a party ... there's no smoking , drunk football members and no couples going at it .

I checked my makeup once more before heading downstairs .

~ Lachlan's POV ~

I was just talking to Vikk when out of the corner of my eye I saw Maddie .

She looked beautiful with her hair in a ponytail and a cute white swim outfit . ( A/N : Outfit in media )

" Hey Lachlan , who you look- oh , I see how it is " Vikk smirked , catching my glance .

I quickly looked away . " No , that's not what it is " I replied quickly , turning a deep shade of red .

" Well to me it looks like you have a thing for Maddie ".

" I don't , not at all . I just think she looks pretty right now that's all " I said , munching on some chips I was eating .

" Yeah , sure . Don't look now but she's coming this way " Vikk said waving her over .

" You little dickhead " I said sourly as he got up .

" You'll thank me later " he mumbled before Maddie came up to the table we were sitting at . " Hey Maddie ! " He greeted , putting a fake smile on his face .

" Hey guys ! Great party huh ? " she smiled back .

" Yeah , really is , I was just about to go get a drink . Want anything ? " he offered .

She shook her head ." Um , no thanks , I'm fine ".

" Okay , I will be right back " Vikk said before walking away , leaving the two of us alone .

She had a seat and I smiled at her .

" You look great " I commented .

" Thanks , you don't look so bad yourself " she smiled back .

We both sat in silence . Maddie was looking all over the place but me .

" Hey guys ! What's up ! " Jerome asked , coming out of nowhere and breaking the tension .

" Nothing much , I think I will go see where Ally and Alyssa are at , see you two around ! " she said , getting up and walking back into the house .

God , I think I should tell her I like her ... today , cause right now , all I can think of is how much I want her to be mine .

~ Maddie's POV ~

" Hey guys ! " I greeted Ally and Alyssa , having a seat beside them at the edge of the pool , dipping my feet in the water .

Ally was in a cool neon colored bikini and Alyssa was in a blue bikini .

" Hey girl ! I see you and Lachlan were flirting over there " Ally smirked .

" No way , not at all , we were just talking " I shrugged .

" Yeah sure . Admit it , you two like each other " Alyssa said , rolling her eyes .

" No way , I don't have a crush on Lachlan " I blushed .

" Don't look now but he's coming towards you " Ally whispered .

They both quietly squealed .

" Act causal ! " Alyssa hissed before Lachlan came over to us .

" Hey ladies " he greeted and we all waved to him .

" Hey Lachlan , what's up ? " Ally asked .

" Um , sorry girls but Maddie , can I speak to you for a second ? " he asked and I looked at him in surprise .

" Um , yeah , sure " I said , getting up and he lead me up to this balcony thing that you could see everything going on at the pool and stuff .

He leaned on the balcony . With the wind blowing through his hair and the sun going down , it felt like a scene from a movie .

He looked me straight in the eyes .

" Maddie , I kinda have a problem and I need your advice " he sighed , running his fingers through his quiff .

" Okay shoot " I replied .

He stopped leaning on the balcony and stand up straight .

" Well , I like this girl and she's just so beautiful . She has like long brown hair and blond dyed tips and blueish greyish eyes , she's really funny and cute . She's a YouTuber like me and her channel is really funny and I just love everything about her but I just don't know how to tell her I want her to be my girlfriend . And it's really bothering me " he said .

I blushed , he's talking about me .

OMG ! HE'S TALKING ABOUT ME ! AHHHH !

" Really , and who might this girl be ? " I said , stepping a little closer towards him .

He looked down blushing like crazy .

" You . I like you Maddie " he burst out , looking into my eyes .

I felt my nose turn red .

" I like you too Lachlan " I said .

Without warning he leaned in and kissed me .

His lips were soft . Softer than I ever imagined them being actually .

I kissed back and we were like that for a while until we both pulled away smiling like crazy .

" So , wanna give this whole , girlfriend boyfriend thing a try ? " he asked and I nodded , intertwining our fingers together .

We sat down at a table on the balcony , forgetting all about the party and everyone around us .

I rested my head on his shoulder and we just sat there silently , embracing each others company ...
