Chapter: Released

Yugi's POV

A nurse walked into my room and Atemu and Heba went dead silent. She just kind of giggled and I thought a blush spread across her face.

"Mr. Moto, you may leave. And, might I say, you are very cute" she said turning back around to write something on her clipboard.

"Thank you. Thank you very much" Heba and Atemu said as they escorted me out of the room.

They just started mumbling to each other. I was able to make out "Seriously?" and "whore" but nothing else.

"Yugi, why did you do that?" I heard Atemu ask.

"I missed Yami so much, and when I looked in the mirror all I could see was him. I drove me insane I guess" I explained shrugging my shoulders.

"Yugi, I almost lost you. You scared me half to death. I could slap you" Heba said looking at me.

"Wait, where us Yami?" I asked looking around.

"My guess, is the waiting room" Atemu chimed in.

"Guys, why doesn't Yami love me?" I asked both of them.

"Yugi, where did that come from" Heba asked.

"He left me for Tea, but I thought he loved me. Why doesn't he love me? Is there something wrong with me?"

"Yugi, you are an amazing person, friend, and brother in law." Atemu said.

"Wait what!?" I asked looking at Heba, then to Atemu, then back to Heba.

"Okay. I proposed to Atemu and was going to tell you after we got back from our date" Heba explained.

"That's amazing news. Congratulations you guys" I heard come from in front of us.

~Crap. Just how much of that did he hear?~

Yami's POV

I was waiting by the door waiting for them to come out with Yugi when I hear them talking. I can hear Yugi speaking and I am just horrified by what he is saying.

".... Why doesn't Yami love me?" Yugi said.

That split my heart in two. I was horrified that he thought I didn't love him. He is my Hikaru and I am his Yami. I love him no matter what. Guess that while Tea thing was the worst decision I could ever make.

Then I hear Heba drop some pretty unexpected news.

"I proposed to Atemu and was going to tell you when we got back from our date"

I decided that now would the best time to step in and say something.

"That's amazing news, congratulations you guys" I said with a smile.

I saw Yugi's expression go down. He is all worried. I guess I wasn't supposed to hear that question he asked. But I did, and now I have to prove to him that I live him. But how?
