CHAPTER: HEBA'S VOW

Heba's Pov

I was on my date with Atemu when I started to feel like something was wrong. I acted like nothing was wrong, in order to keep Atemu from worrying. But it had gotten to the point where I asked him if we could go home. I had to clarify that it wasn't anything he did. We payed for the meal, tipped of course, and left the restaurant. On the way home, I got a message from Yugi. He must have unblocked all of his mind links to say this.

Yami, I hope you're happy

"Atemu, we have to get back to my place ASAP!" I said frantic of what my brother meant.

"Okay. Mind telling me why?" He asked.

"Yugi said something that scaring me. I have to check on him" I said almost screaming.

The rest of the car ride was so slow. I wanted to be at my house right now. I wanted to be with Yugi right now. Atemu would understand right?

When we pulled into my driveway, I opened my door and sprinted in. I ran past Joey and straight to Yugi's room. When I opened the door I screamed. Joey and Atemu followed my voice to see the sight that lay before us.

Yugi lay in his bed, covered in blood. He wasn't moving and he looked a bit pale. I was shaking and tears were pouring out of my eyes at thus point.

"Call 911!" I shouted running to his side.

"Yugi please, stay with me Yugi" I pleaded holding his hand.

I noticed Atemu was walking over towards me. I didn't see Joey in the room, so he must've left to call for help. Atemu put his hand on my shoulder and I turned around, and cried into his chest.

"Atemu, please tell me this is all a joke"

"I'm sorry Heba, but it isn't anything I was involved with" Atemu replied making me feel worse.

"I knew I should've stayed home. Maybe this wouldn't have happened" I sobbed into his chest.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Atemu asked

"Yami dumped Yugi, then told him he was cheating on him" I said through my sobs.

"Wha..... Oh my god. Why the hell would he do that?" Atemu asked with a bit of anger in his voice.

"Beats me. All I know is I left to go on our date and he was still walking" I replied.

"Joey! Have you called the damn paramedics yet?" I yelled out the open door.

"Yeah, they're on their way" Joey replied as he walked up the stairs.

I broke away from Atemu and walked back over to Yugi. I knelt down and cried into his chest.

"Please Yugi, don't leave me" I said as I wrapped my arms around Hus limp and pale body.

I heard sirens getting closer to Yugi and It's home. But couldn't focus on them. I wouldn't let go of him, when they needed to take him away. Atemu pulled me off, while they took my brother away. Only one thing crossed my mind when he vanished from my sight.

Yami will pay for this!
