CHAPTER: BREAK IN

We pulled up to the house and I had my atomach twisting in knots. Do you know how hard it is to tell the oerson you live, that you almost, accidently, killed yourself because they rejected you?

I opened my door and walked up to the front door. I eaited and the rest of the group joined me. When the last one of us was out if the car, I opened the door tot he house and was met with tbe sweet fragrence of roses and rain water. I lived that smell.

"Joey and Mai left some roses for you, but the got wet, so we took them inside" Atemu said with a smile.

I flashed my own smile and Heba joined in too. I noticed Yami just sort of sitting back and watching this unfold.

"Would you excuse us for a second?" i asked motioning toward Yami.

"Yugi, if anything happens, just call" Heba said dragging Atemu upstairs.

I just stood there for the longest time. We looked into each other's eyes, until one of us found something to say.

"Yugi. I am truly sorry about what I did. I feel absolutely awful to know I have caused you this much pain. We are bound to each itber, light and dark, good and bad, better and worse. I love you Yugi, I truly love you" he said as his eyes got all teary.

"Oh yami I...."

Crash

"What the hell!?" I yelled at the sound of broken glass coming from upstairs.

"Yugi I will go. You stay down here" Yami said walking toward the stairs.

Yami's POV

I walked up the stairs to see Heba's bedroom door open. I look in and see Heba and Atemu tied up together with gags around their mouths. I loosened the gags and untied them.

"Where is Yugi?" Heba asked.

"Safe downstairs, why?"

"No, we were a distraction. Their main target was..."

"AHHHHHH!" cane from downstairs.

"YUGI!" I shouted sprinting down the stairs.

I got to the living room to see Yugi bound by ropes and tale over his mouth. It was then that I saw who stepped out from a dark bathroom.

Yugi's POV

Yami had just left and I wanted something to protect myself. I went into the living room to get a fire poker, when two sets of hands grabbed me and held me in place. I felt my arms being tied together so i shouted as loud as I could.

"Shut him up" a feminine voice said from a dark bathroom down the hall.

They put a piece of tape over my mouth and I could no longer speak. Yami ran downstairs and he saw me. He was enraged byt then the musterious women stepped out from her hiding place. It was...
