CHAPTER : THE BREAKUP

Dear Journal,

I just can't wrap my mind around what has happened. It was so sudden and I could never see him doing something like this. But I have to face the facts, and deal with it.

The fact is simply he doesn't love me. I love him but that obviously means nothing to him. You might be wondering what my name is, I am Yugi Moto.

~5 Hours Ago~

"I have something I want to ask you Yami."

"Okay Yugi, ask away"

"Will you be mine forever? Yami, will you marry me?"

"Yugi, I'm sorry. But I can't marry you. I haven't been completely honest. I have been cheating on you with Tea for 4 months. We love each other and are moving away together. I'm sorry Yugi"

"Wha.... What?"

"Yugi, I have enjoyed being your Yami, but it is time to move on. I love Tea and she loves me"

"Okay. Fine. I hope you two are happy together. Just leave right now. It will spare you having to see my face ever again. Because I don't ever want to see yours!"

~Now~

How Could I have not seen this happening? How could I have been so blind? All I know is that Yami turned me down and I will never love again

I put the journal away as I hears a knock at my bedroom door.

Knock Knock Knock

"Hey Yugi, you alright? You haven't answered any of my texts all day?" I heard my closest friend, Joey, ask.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just needed to think ya know?" I lied.

"C'mon Yugi, you and I both know, I know when you're lying" he said with an unamused face.

"Okay fine. I asked Yami to marry me" I admitted.

"That's awesome. When is the wedding?" he asked.

I couldn't hold the tears in anymore. I just started to cry like a baby. It didn't seem to give Joey enough of a hint.

"Yug, what's wrong?" he asked putting his hand on my shoulder

"He rejected me. Then said that he had been cheating on me with Tea and that they were in love" I sobbed.

"Oh my Ra, that little bastard. If I ever see him again, I beat the crap out of him" he said.

"Joey, Yugi, what's going on?" my twin brother Heba asked.

"Yami dumped Yugi, then told him he was cheating on him" Joey said as he simplifies what I told him.

"Just wait till I tell Atemu" he said with a pissed off tone.

"You guys. I can handle it. So what? Yami loves Tea. It's not the end of the world" I said getting up from Joey hug.

"But Yug, you're just going to let him off the hook?" Joey asked surprised.

"Hell no. the cheating I am still pissed off about. And I don't think I can ever really forgive him. I just need some time alone right now" I said as I walked out of my room, leaving my best friend and my brother speechless.

As soon as I was away from the door I ran to the bathroom, shut and locked the door, and started crying. I'm pretty sure Joey and Heba heard me, but I don't care. I only wanted one thing right now, to die.
