Dark Ember POV

Rainbow Flames, my adopted sister now, is gonna be somepony I can look out for. She's shy around ponies, except for me. This pony was special. She may be two years younger, plus she have some nerve to hide from everypony. She's probably not use to be around ponies. I can understand that. So after flying far from Ponyville (it's a pain), we finally made it to the Wasteland Of Equestria. I luckily have a house for us to stay in. But when we inside, well let's just say it's messy. I wasn't prepared for this. I facehoof for not cleaning up. But it was funny to Flames. She was cheerful when I'm around her. And I like it. She ask me a question, but her throat is still a little sore.

"Do you know I'm gonna sleep?" Flames ask. I thought of it for a second, then I realized something. I did have an extra bedroom. And I don't use it much, but it's useful for her.

I smile at her. "Yup. Let me show you your room." I responded.

I lead the way to the extra bedroom for her, avoiding some junk on the floor. After that, we made it to the door. I opened it, revealing what's inside of it. She was pleased. And what did she do. Well, she ran and jump on the bed excited. She was happy to get her own room. I laughed. But I had to clean up the house. Dang Celestia! Well, guess I'll have to do that junk, before grabbing leftovers. If any of you are asking, I use to live alone. Don't ask. So I went to the living room to start cleaning up before the whole entire house. Great. Just great.

~30 minutes later~

I finally finished the living room. Luckily I had magic. After that, I turn around to clean the kitchen. But when I got there, it was already clean. Weird.

"I swear it was really messy when I saw it." I said. But before I can question anything, I heard something crack from another room. I race out. And when I did, everything was clean completely. In shock, I can only think of one pony in the house.

I facehoof myself. " *sigh* Of course. How stupid of me? But how did she-" I was cut off by another crack from another room.

And once again I race where the sound is coming from. And when I went to that location in the house, I saw Flames coming out of the rug with trash on her. Guess she was cleaning the house for me when I wasn't looking. But the only one who needs cleaning is her.

"Guess who dirty herself?" I said to her, making her chuckle nervously. "You know that means." Her eyes widen and hide under the rug. It's easy to see her, sense there's a bump on in it.

I went to grab her with her with my magic. But when I did, I ended up grabbing a balled up blanket. I was shocked of how she disappear. At first, I don't know where she is until I felt a tug on my tail. I turn around and see her holding a bubble bath soap with her magic. I guess her having a bubble bath wasn't a bad idea. Plus, easier for me to handle her, sense she seems a little stubborn. But how did she came from the carpet to me? Probably magic, but I didn't see any light from her magic. It's really weird. But I remember that Ms.Red Heart said that she had incredible powers, so that's why. Well, like I said, a bubble bath wouldn't hurt her. How bad could it be?

~ 57 minutes later~

Ok....maybe that bad. I'm all soak and wet from her splashing. Don't ask about the rest. Well, at least the good news is that she's clean. Her long poofy long mane and tail is fluffy and soft. And her coat is smooth. But for me, I'm wet. I had to dry myself off with the heat and towel.

'She's gonna pay for what she did.' I thought. Then a smirk crawled up my face, revealing my canine teeth. 'And I think I know how to do it.'

Rainbow Flames POV

Um...hi. I'm Rainbow Flames. Dark Ember's little sister. Or adopted sister. I just got out of the bathroom all fresh. It was funny how he got wet. Priceless! Any who, I'm just walking to my room now, about to jump around. Yes I'm shy around ponies, except for Dark Ember. But that doesn't mean I can't have my own freedom. I was bouncing on the bed of a good ten minutes. Then I got tired, and started to fall asleep. What I didn't know is that somepony is gonna give me the elements of surprise. I think. So, I was snuggled up on the bed, until a ponies named Ember came in 3 minutes later woke me up. I was laughing because he was actually ticking me on my weak spot. Obviously my belly. I was laughing so hard, I could barely breath.

" *laughing* E-Ember. *laughing* P-Please stop it! *laughing* " I hesitate while laughing. He only smirk. "Not until you apologize for wetting me earlier." He responded.

I couldn't hold my breath much longer. So I apologize. Then he stopped. I catch my breath. I nearly died. Not literally, but laughing my but off. Thank you very much. Well I looked at him. He only smirk at me. I read his face saying 'guess who's laughing now'. I pouted and put my face in a pillow. He laughed at my reaction. Then I felt a magic aura surrounding me. I knew it had to be Ember. He led his magic to his back and lay me there.

"You hungry sis?" He ask me. After he ask, my stomach started to rumble. He chuckled. "Well, luckily I have some leftovers. Let's eat." He said. He led me to the kitchen, even though I'm on his back. He sit me down on the chair, before grabbing the leftovers.

~15 minutes later~ ((I'm too lazy to write it))

Dark Ember POV

After we ate, we went to our rooms. Flames said goodnight to me before we went to bed. I thought I would have a goodnight sleep, but not really. So in the middle of the night, I was asleep in a middle of a good dream (don't you dare ask) until I heard my door open. I woke up and looked at my left seeing Flames holding a pillow in her mouth. She looks a little scared.

"Nightmares?" I ask her. She nodded, then shiver in fear. I'm guessing she's having flash backs about it. I smiled and made space on the bed. She fly up with the pillow in her mouth and put it down before herself. She put the pillow on her head, but for some odd reason, she lean close to me and before she fell asleep, she said something I wasn't expecting.

"Good night big brother. *yawn* I love you." After those words, she fell asleep.

I just stood there for a few minutes. For the first time, she just called me her big brother. And more likely that she loves me. My mind started to race. Even though I only met her for a day, she would go after me for protection. From what? I don't know. But whatever it is, I'll do whatever it takes to make her happy.

I put my wing surrounding her and said these words, "I'll protect you till the end. My Little Flamie." And that's a promise I won't break for her. After that, I fall asleep besides her under my wing.
